The presented research introduces a new advanced data analytics methodology for climate change impact assessment and adaptive planning that utilizes machine learning and deep-learning techniques. Quantitative analysis was performed over several databases such as GHCN, ERA5, National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) and JRA-55 in addition to CRU for a thorough assessment of the proposed methodology. In climate modeling, the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) showed better accuracy than ERA5 and JRA-55 which outperformed Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN) with lower Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Squared Error values. The Early Warning System, which was built using the LSTM network algorithm, had a higher accuracy of 0.90 and recall rate of 0.88 especially with JRA-55 proving its effectiveness in early detection for extreme weather events before they occur. The RL-based adaptive planning component performed well across all datasets, with ERA5 reaching the best feedback loop performance score of 94%. The precision agriculture optimization, which was enabled by Random Forest revealed different accuracy and AUC-ROC values across various datasets showing flexibility. Against international climate agreements, the overall alignment score was 0.78 with ERA5 being slightly better at 0.80 using Support Vector Machines (SVM). These quantitative assessments accentuate the practicality, efficacy, and applicability of this methodology in various datasets making it an apt tool for evidence-based decisions on climate resilience strategies at the global level. © 2024 ieee.

This paper considers the abnormal intrusion detection issue for linear systems with unknown-but-bounded (UBB) noises which belong to ellipsotope set. The ellipsotope combine the advantages of ellipsoid and zonotope. Then, in order to detect the malicious cyber attacks, the ellipsotope-based approach is designed and the strategy is characterized by the residue always remains inside the ellipsotope set when the system is attack free. In addition, compared with the zonotope-based detection approach, our method have better sensitivity. Finally, a quadrotor UAV control system is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the main results. © 2023 ieee.

Childhood leukemia, a formidable health challenge, demands innovative strategies for timely detection and intervention. This study leverages the formidable capabilities of cutting-edge deep learning models, VGG16 and EfficientNetB3, to intricately classify a comprehensive dataset comprising 15,135 cell images from 118 patients. Resultantly, VGG16 achieves a commendable classification accuracy of 77%, while the EfficientNetB3 model excels with an exceptional 91% accuracy. Beyond classification proficiency, this research underscores the urgency of early detection in childhood leukemia, shedding light on the transformative potential of deep learning models in enhancing diagnostic capabilities. The findings not only pave the way for refined classification methodologies but also illuminate promising avenues for timely, personalized, and targeted therapeutic interventions. This holistic approach holds promise for significantly improving outcomes and quality of life for young leukemia patients, emphasizing the indispensable role of technology in propelling advancements in pediatric oncology. © 2024 ieee.

The application of virtual reality (VR) technologies during physical therapy is gaining popularity due to enhanced outcomes and increased patient engagement. However, the neurological mechanisms responsible for the observed advantages of VR devices in clinical rehabilitation are poorly understood. In this study, we attempted to quantify the changes in cortical biometrics associated with immersion in VR during a physical task. Five healthy young adults performed boxing exercises with guidance from either a VR-based game (with VR) or an instructional video (without VR). The exercises were performed either at moderate or advanced intensity levels while 64-channel electroencephalography (EEG) was recorded. With technologies such as robots, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and quantum computing being developed to attain digital superiority, modern military applications have the potential to fundamentally alter defense operations and tactics. The two technologies that have the potential to transform combat are augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Large-scale simulation environments for the military and paramilitary sectors might be produced using AR and VR, changing everything from soldier training to the creation of fresh warfighting tactics. Accurate diagnosis of liver tumor is important task for the physician. The purpose of this research work is to investigate the utility of feature extraction and classification techniques in the diagnosis of liver tumor CT images as benign(non-cancerous) and malign(cancerous). The classification results can give useful information for the physician in diagnosing the tumor. In this work, the important features representing the tumor are extracted using SURF, LTP, and PCA. Then extracted features are passed to LSTM to identify the type of liver tumor. Experiments are carried out on the dataset collected from hospital. It is observed that the proposed method performs better when compared to the radiologist results. © 2023 ieee.

With the rapid development of online platforms and the explosive growth of user-generated data, personalized recommendation systems have become increasingly crucial in delivering relevant content to users. Traditional recommendation approaches often focus on modeling user-item interactions, neglecting the rich contextual information associated with user behaviors. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-behavior recommendation system based on heterogeneous graph learning. By leveraging the power of heterogeneity, our model integrates various types of user behaviors, such as browsing, adding cart, and purchasing, into a unified framework. We design a graph-based representation for capturing the complex relationships between users, items, and behaviors. Additionally, we introduce a graph neural network approach to effectively propagate and aggregate information across the heterogeneous graph. Experimental results on a real-world dataset demonstrate that our proposed system outperforms state-of-the-art recommendation methods in terms of accuracy and diversity. The findings highlight the potential of heterogeneous graph learning in enhancing the performance of multi-behavior recommendation systems. © 2024 ieee.

The rapid advancement of industrial automation has underscored the significance of sophisticated control mechanisms for robotic manipulators, especially seven-axis manipulators, known for their flexibility and capability in handling complex tasks. Traditional control methods often struggle with adaptability and managing nonlinear, uncertain environments. To address these challenges, this paper proposes an adaptive imitation learning-based control strategy for seven-axis manipulators. First, the adaptive imitation learning algorithm is introduced and its applicability to manipulator control is analyzed. Then, a reinforcement learning based model of the seven-axis manipulator is established and simulated in a virtual environment to verify the algorithm's effectiveness. Finally, the limitations of the adaptive imitation learning algorithm in the context of manipulator control are discussed, and future research directions are outlined. This study not only offers a novel control strategy for seven-axis manipulators but also serves as a reference for the broader application of adaptive imitation learning algorithms in various domains. © 2024 ieee.
