Fortifying Cloud Security has become inevitable due to challenges such as misconfigurations, coding errors, and compromised secrets or passwords that impact infrastructure as a service during infrastructure such as code automation (IaC). These challenges require code analysis tools to enhance security during infrastructure automation. Setting up a simple cloud architecture is quick, but human errors are still common, especially when cloud infrastructure can be deployed with just a few clicks. Terraform provides a ready-made infrastructure as code modules to build and scale cloud-hosted applications. However, cyber attackers exploit these vulnerabilities and gain access to sensitive data or resources without authorization due to configuration errors, inadequate storage, and infrastructure manipulation, resulting in unauthorized deployments or alterations. That affects the availability of resources during infrastructure deployment using attacks such as DoS attacks, injection attacks, Man in the Middle (MITM), malware spread, remote code execution (RCE), and phishing attacks to penetrate the cloud infrastructures. The paper aims to analyze Terraforms infrastructure as code in cloud security to fortify codes and assist DevSecOps engineers in identifying misconfiguration in Terraform scripts. The paper's contributions are threefold. First, we explore cloud security by securing IaC solutions on Terraform. We consider security issues, including misconfigurations and coding errors, present in Terraform IaC. Secondly, we implement a static analysis tool for terraform by comparatively analyzing existing tools. Finally, we provide a comparative analysis of terraform IaC on tools including Checkov, Tfsec, Tflint, and Terrascan for suitability based on their key features and performance metrics to enhance security. © 2024 ieee.

Cloud applications are now evolving towards a more granular micro-service paradigm, where fewer and simpler working elements are joined for providing end-to-end services, in response to the demand for agile development and administration. The increase in the utilization of container have gained more insight and helped in ensuring maximized and large portability with minimized overhead and rapid deployment in the cloud platform. But the rapid growth of container technology has introduced phenomenal changes in the management and automation of containers in the cloud computing environment. In specific, container resource allocation is the most potential challenge realized from the dimension of cloud providers since it possesses a direct impact on system performance and resource management. In this paper, a comprehensive review on Optimization enabled deep learning methods for Container-based Cloud Computing Environment is presented with its merits and limitations. It has presented the possible number of deep learning models-based container scheduling process that helps in significant load prediction in the cloud platform. This study also outlines the prospective research areas that might be explored moving forward with this implementation research. © 2023 ieee.

With the rapid progress of the times, cars have become a necessity that most families in society will purchase and use. Nowadays, new energy vehicles have entered people's lives to a greater extent, and safety issues have always been the focus of social attention. Therefore, the most important aspect of safety issues for cars is the accuracy and safety of car steering gears, Therefore, the design and research of automotive steering gear test benches are extremely important. After understanding the current research status of automotive steering gear test benches at home and abroad, this article mainly focuses on improving the degree of automation and introduces an automated control system to achieve automatic control and data recording of the test process, improve work efficiency and accuracy of data analysis. And analyze and study the testing methods of automotive steering gear, the basic structure and principles of rack and pinion automotive steering gear, and propose a testing method for designing a comprehensive steering gear testing platform. Based on the principle of modular structural design for the test bench, the overall framework and layout plan of the test bench, as well as the overall design of the test bench, were conceived. © 2023 ieee.

Software composition analysis (SCA) tools have been widely adopted to identify vulnerable libraries used in software applications. Such SCA tools depend on a vulnerability database to know affected libraries of each vulnerability. However, it is labor-intensive and error prone for a security team to manually maintain the vulnerability database. While several approaches adopt extreme multi-label learning to predict affected libraries for vulnerabilities, they are practically ineffective due to the limited library labels and the unawareness of ecosystems. To address these problems, we first conduct an empirical study to assess the quality of two fields, i.e., affected libraries and their ecosystems, for four vulnerability databases. Our study reveals notable inconsistency and inaccuracy in these two fields. Then, we propose HOLMES to identify affected libraries and their ecosystems for vulnerabilities via a learning-to-rank technique. The key idea of HOLMES is to gather various evidences about affected libraries and their ecosystems from multiple sources, and learn to rank a pool of libraries based on their relevance to evidences. Our extensive experiments have shown the effectiveness, efficiency and usefulness of HOLMES © 2024 ACM.

ERP systems are merging their powers to generate a dynamic collaboration. By examining the integration between RPA (Robotic Process automation) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, we can identify their shared potential for enhancing process flow. Combining automation and ERP integration makes RPA a powerful tool for process management across multiple industries. The paper examines the basics of RPA and its ERP integration, highlighting the advantages of enhanced productivity and fewer errors. To meet the requirements of long-distance data transmission, high reliability, and fast reception, a PCIe-based multi-serial port controller design scheme is proposed. The design utilizes Xilinx K7 series FPGA chips and incorporates the internal PCIe IP core. Configurable parameters such as serial port baud rate and FIFO depth are employed, enabling simultaneous data transmission and reception for 32 serial ports. Firstly, the system architecture and principles are analyzed. Secondly, detailed designs for PCIe, serial ports, and interrupt controllers are presented, with a focus on analyzing the logic and software processing flow under nested interrupt conditions to avoid improper handling that may cause abnormal operation of the serial ports. Finally, the functionality is verified on an FPGA development board. The results indicate that the designed multi-serial port controller meets the performance requirements for serial ports in industrial automation system integration and provides valuable insights for enhancing device integration. © 2023 ieee.

Black-box context-free grammar inference is a hard problem as in many practical settings it only has access to a limited number of example programs. The state-of-the-art approach Arvada heuristically generalizes grammar rules starting from flat parse trees and is non-deterministic to explore different generalization sequences. We observe that many of Arvada's generalization steps violate common language concept nesting rules. We thus propose to pre-structure input programs along these nesting rules, apply learnt rules recursively, and make black-box context-free grammar inference deterministic. The resulting Tree Vada yielded faster runtime and higher-quality grammars in an empirical comparison. The Treevada source code, scripts, evaluation parameters, and training data are open-source and publicly available (https://***/10.6084/***.23907738). © 2024 ACM.
