Industry 5.0 is a new way of thinking that is consistent with the ideas of Industry 4.0 but places greater emphasis on sustainability, sustainability, and human-centricity. Unlike Industry 4.0, which emphasizes the efficient integration of advanced technologies such as the Internet, AI, robots, and automation, Industry 5.0 seeks to balance human-machine collaboration to create more inclusive, meaningful, and sustainable systems. In Industry 5.0, LLM has a bigger role than automating similar activities. LLMs make sectors more resilient, adaptable and aligned with social values by fostering innovation, improving human-centred processes and promoting sustainable practices. Large Language Models (LLM) is a type of artificial neural network that excels at language-related tasks. The advantages and disadvantages of using LLM in software engineering are still being debated, but it is a tool that can be utilized in software engineering. This study aimed to analyze LLM studies in software engineering using bibliometric and content analysis. The study data were retrieved from Web of science and Scopus. The data were analyzed using two popular bibliometric approaches: bibliometric and content analysis. VOS Viewer and Bibliometrix software were used to conduct the bibliometric analysis. The bibliometric analysis was performed using science mapping and performance analysis approaches. Various bibliometric data, including the most frequently referenced publications, journals, and nations, were evaluated and presented. Then, the synthetic knowledge method was utilized for content analysis. This study examined 235 papers, with 836 authors contributing. The publications were published in 123 different journals. The average number of citations per publication is 1.44. Most publications were published in Proceedings international conference on Software engineering and ACM international conference Proceeding Series, with China and the United States emerging as the leading countries. It was discovered that international collaboration on the issue was inadequate. The most often used keywords in the publications were "software design," "code (symbols)," and "code generation." Following the content analysis, three themes emerged: 1) Integration of LLM into software engineering education, 2) application of LLM in software engineering, and 3) potential and limitation of LLM in software engineering. In real-world scenarios, many robotic manipulation tasks are hindered by occlusions and limited fields of view, posing significant challenges for passive observation-based models that rely on fixed or wrist-mounted cameras. In this letter, we investigate the problem of robotic manipulation under limited visual observation and propose a task-driven asynchronous active vision-action model. Our model serially connects a camera Next-Best-View (NBV) policy with a gripper Next-Best-Pose (NBP) policy, and trains them in a sensor-motor coordination framework using few-shot reinforcement learning. This approach enables the agent to reposition a third-person camera to actively observe the environment based on the task goal, and subsequently determine the appropriate manipulation actions. We trained and evaluated our model on 8 viewpoint-constrained tasks in RLBench. The results demonstrate that our model consistently outperforms baseline algorithms, showcasing its effectiveness in handling visual constraints in manipulation tasks. © 2025 ieee.

This study aims to develop a practical proof of implementing a deep learning-based brain-computer interface (BCI) for motion intent classification and control of an assistive robotic arm. A modified version of EEGNet with attention is used for the real-time classification of EEG signals recorded using the Emotiv Epoc X headset. The robotic arm is built on an ESP32-WIFI Arduino. The motor imagery dataset by Physionet used for training consists of four classes out of which two have been used to map right and left arm movements. The data goes through necessary preprocessing steps: down-sampling, Butterworth filter, truncation, and z-score normalization. The modified EEGNet achieves an 82.01% validation accuracy on the dataset. The system has been tested for real-time usability by recordings of 3 seconds at 128Hz with minimum latency. © 2025 ieee.

Visual object detection and ranging is a technology that uses computer vision technology to detect and distance target objects in images or videos. This technology plays an important role in the field of industrial automation. In this paper, based on the improved yolov5 algorithm, the adaptive receptive field convolution module is introduced in target detection, and the triangulation principle in the traditional method is used to achieve target detection and ranging, so as to achieve more accurate target detection and improve ranging accuracy. The accuracy of the system can be verified by many experiments. The experimental results show that the ranging error of the system is less than 5% in the range of 0.2~1m. © 2025 SPIE.

In a warehouse context, the goal of the research project is to prove the effectiveness of a fully automated, infrastructure-free guidance system for pallet transfer within warehouses. The means of transfer used is a fleet of Automatic Handling Units (AHUs). The goal is warehouse automation, which has become a priority for the largest players in the logistics sector. The growth in the volume of goods handled is a consequence of the globalisation of the world economy and the increasing demand for fast and efficient supply chain solutions. Thus, it forces warehouses to adapt to the growing complexity of operations. Competition between warehouses and the need to reduce lead times for goods handling require operators to increase overall productivity and reduce operating costs while guaranteeing maximum security. This article addresses the scientific challenge of automatic and optimized fleet management of AHUs. It involves proposing a routing system for the AHU fleet without deadlocks that allow regularly submitted missions to be carried out. © 2025 ieee.

automation is one of the key drivers in today's global economy. It ensures the conduction of a manifold of standardized processes which helps tackle the decreasing amount of skilled workers in certain areas as well as reducing cost. Although automation is broadly used nowadays, the overall applicability of automated processes is often limited to use cases with predefined process steps of minor flexibility. However, new and upcoming sustainable industries that are focusing on product life-cycle prolonging (e.g. repair, refurbish, and remanufacture (3Rs)) options to enable Circular Economy-friendly treatment, require a high amount of adaptability in automated systems to tackle the high variability of product compositions in disassembly scenarios. The goal of the conducted case study is therefore to investigate the possibilities of a nowadays available of-the-shelf automation system regarding its functions and mechanisms towards enabling automated adaptability by using disassembly scenarios of component groups consisting of different building blocks as an example scenario and the concluding future research areas. The paper, therefore, investigates the different methods offered by the default system and applies them to various levels of disassembly scenarios. The conducted study helps to clarify the capabilities of the system's functionalities in the overall goal to enhance adaptability in disassembly processes. © 2025 ieee.

Unprecedented improvements in connectivity, speed, and latency are anticipated with the emergence of 6G wireless technology, opening the door for game-changing applications like AI-driven automation, smart cities, and holographic communications. Nevertheless, there are serious environmental consequences associated with these breakthroughs, such as resource destruction, elevated energy use, and electrical waste. It takes a comprehensive strategy that incorporates energy-efficient hardware, sustainable software, and green design concepts to strike a balance between technological innovation and environmental sustainability in 6G. Low-power network topologies, energy-harvesting technology, and the use of renewable energy sources are examples of emerging tactics. Furthermore, reducing the environmental impact of 6G architecture requires the adoption of circular economy principles like recycling devices and using eco-friendly materials. To ensure sustainable development, industry rules, policy structures, and cross-sector partnerships will be essential. In order to provide understanding of design considerations, problems, and future perspectives for a greener wireless future, this study examines the combined quest of technological excellence and environmental responsibility in 6G. © 2025 ieee.
