This paper outlines an integrated process by which complex electro-optical systems are designed. The latest capabilities of interactive graphics systems at Westinghouse Defense and Electronics Center were incorporated into the design process. The design process is integrated through the interdiscipline communication established with the computer-aided-design (CAD) system as a common database for servo, optical, and mechanical design and analysis. The optics and support structure are designed on the CAD system which has a ray tracing program. The CAD database contains mass properties and geometry which are transferred to the finite element database and the servo loop design programs which reside on a VAX computer. The results of these analyses may show that iterations are needed to optimize the configuration to meet servo, optical, and mechanical requirements.

In this paper, a new MR urinary system image segmentation based on Kernel Fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm (KFCM) is proposed. The influence of the selection of the membership degree m parameter and the number of clusters J} in the KavCM algorithm on the image segmentation is discussed. Simulation experiments show that the membership function value for MRI brain images is 2 <= m <= ll integers. Aiming at the characteristics of low resolution and blurred boundary contour of PET images, combined with the needs of clinical diagnosis, this paper uses a bilateral cross filter to construct an edge filter of CT images to filter PET images. The proliferation term in the model is improved to improve tumor prediction. The accuracy reaches 7.6%

Custom elective tracks were integrated to better meet needs within diverse application areas, such as healthcare, transportation, and the insurance industry. This program was also designed to establish a partner relationship with employers to support students through work release and opportunities for real world capstone project experiences. The program was designed as a cohort model in order to establish a strong sense of community and thus promote increased peer learning within courses because effective peer learning has been established as a best practice for online programs in higher education.
