Brain tumors are masses of unusual cells in the brain system and are known to be highly deadly, affecting people of all ages. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a standard approach to identifying brain malignancies. The detection of these tumors typically utilizes magnetic resonance imaging techniques. Within the field of computer vision, convolutional neural networks have become the most widely used model in the field of deep learning, especially for identifying brain tumors. This research presents a tailored CNN proposed for brain tumor detection trained on the Figshare MRI dataset. The proposed work adopts a spatial attention mechanism to find relevant spatial patterns and uses a self-attention mechanism to capture context information between the channels. Further, it implements residual connections to allow fast training and exploits a cardinality hyperparameter to reduce parameter numbers. The results assert that the proposed methodology outperforms other current methods in terms of classification performance. © 2024 ieee.

In this paper we proposed a method for printed Sinhala character recognition based on support vector classification and histogram oriented gradient descriptor (HOG descriptor). Converting the text on images into text is a challenging task. It becomes the most difficult task when considering local languages. Having 400+ characters in the Sinhala alphabet and the curve pattern of the letters causes some difficulties when converting the Sinhala text images into text. A histogram oriented gradient descriptor is used to extract the unique features of each individual character. A linear support vector machine is used to classify each character. Sinhala corpus was created to check the word correctness and permutation method used for the process of creating words. © 2024 ieee.

This paper delivers an acquaintance of the Study of Restricted Earth Fault current Devices for various Earthing Systems using Short Circuit Analysis based on IEC 60909 utilizing ETAP software. In power systems, Short circuit analysis is mostly required to appropriately design the devices to ensure they can withstand currents from short circuits. This paper discusses the restricted earth fault current behaviour, particularly for solidly and resistance grounding at which short circuit analysis is to be performed, and validates the sizing calculation process of restricted earth fault current devices with an engineer example. This paper also compares the short circuit results obtained for restricted earth fault current devices. © 2024 ieee.

Digital Circular Economy and Industry 5.0 have been two significant research attractions in the last years, due to the evolution of their predecessors into advanced technologies. Circular Economy (CE) has progressed into a sustainable digital approach, capable to be implemented into different scenarios. Industry 5.0 has turned from a fully automated application field into a balanced technological combination of A.I. and M.L. with the involvement of human factor, and promising enabler of Digital CE. As a result, a growing number of Digital CE models are introduced into the academic community. In this work, we collect and examine the latest research and application trends of Digital CE models, by studying their sustainable features, requirements, applications, and architectures.

Since workers significantly impact the firm's operation, businesses invest heavily in them. They must deliver better and more excellent performance to compete with the increasing competition. Employee performance is becoming more and more important for business success and staying ahead of the competition, so companies are putting more money into things like training, growth centers, and careers. The target audience was the employees working in international Business Machines Corporation. The data was analyzed through the process of Exploratory Data Analysis using Python. There is a 0.002297 link between Job Satisfaction and Performance Rating, and a 0.002572 correlation between Work Life Balance and Performance Rating. The relationship between work-life balance and job involvement is -0.01462, indicating a negative impact on work-life balance for people who are heavily interested in their occupations. The study would help Human Resources Managers formulate their policies and understand the employees better in the current environment. Here, Job Satisfaction and Performance Rating served as mediators, and the findings show that their influence on Attrition is minimal at this firm. © 2024 ieee.

In this we are going to a make security system that will help in counting the people available in a building or an area which is having an entrance gate in which whenever a people goes inside the building through the entrance gate it will show the count that certain count of people are inside the building and that some amount of people are going outside of building after 24 hours it will give an update about current amount of people staying inside the building till the night. In this we are using image processing using cvat software for datasets and using haar cascades algorithm for people detection and using signal processing it will give update on count of people. © 2024 ieee.

Visibility is a fundamental concept in computational geometry, with numerous applications in surveillance, robotics, and games. This software paper presents TriVis, a C++ library developed by the authors for computing numerous visibility-related queries in highly complex polygonal environments. Adapting the triangular expansion algorithm, TriVis stands out as a versatile, high-performance, more reliable and easy-to-use alternative to current solutions that is also free of heavy dependencies. Through evaluation on a challenging dataset, TriVis has been benchmarked against existing visibility libraries. The results demonstrate that TriVis outperforms the competing solutions by at least an order of magnitude in query times, while exhibiting more reliable runtime behavior. With the increasing threat posed by wildfires to human life, property, and the environment, wildfire detection has become a crucial task for preventing and minimizing fire-related losses. Traditional wildfire detection often relies on features manually designed to describe fires in images, resulting in insufficient robustness in detection performance. An edge computing-based optimization algorithm for wildfire detection is proposed in this paper to achieve fast and accurate early detection of wildfires. Deep learning and computer vision techniques are combined, and algorithms for fire point detection and classification are designed to identify potential wildfire hotspots. An abnormal event detection and prediction algorithm is introduced to identify abnormal behavior outside of wildfire signs and predict potential trends in wildfire development. The algorithm is validated on wildfire datasets, and experimental results demonstrate improved accuracy and real-time performance in early wildfire detection. © 2024 ieee.

Agriculture stands as India's most crucial industry, despite grappling with a 35% annual loss in crop yield attributed to plant diseases. Traditionally, the detection of plant diseases has been a laborious process, hampered by insufficient laboratory infrastructure and expert knowledge. Plant disease detection methods that are automated provide a useful way to expedite the labor-intensive process of keeping an eye on large-scale agricultural fields and recognizing disease symptoms as soon as they appear on plant leaves. current developments in deep learning (DL) and computer vision have highlighted the benefits of creating autonomous models for plant disease identification based on visible symptoms on leaves. In this study, we propose a novel method for detecting and classifying plant diseases by combining the Emperor Penguin Optimizer (EPO) with a Region Convolutional Neural Network (RCNN). The suggested methodology uses EPO to improve the discriminative power of features extracted from plant pictures, allowing for a more robust and accurate classification procedure. The Classification Region Convolutional Neural Network (RCNN) is used to leverage spatial correlations within the image, allowing for exact disease region localization. The goal of this integration is to increase the overall efficiency and dependability of plant disease detection systems. The investigations made use of the well-known PlantVillage dataset, which comprises 54,305 data of different plant disease types in 38 categories. Furthermore, an analysis was carried out in comparison with similar advanced investigations. According to the experiment results, RCNN-EPO outperformed in terms of classification accuracy, achieving 94.552%. © 2024 ieee.
