This case study addresses security attacks associated with SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and Email Phishing attacks on online platforms. The study focuses on a small beverage commercial web portal and fake Facebook pages as case examples. The objective is to enhance the operational resilience of these platforms by implementing input validation protocols and phishing detection plugins. The study aims to identify and analyze security vulnerabilities, develop strategies to minimize threats, integrate validation techniques and detection plugins, and proactively implement a secure environment. Moreover, this study relies on 18 references, including research publications from databases like ieee and Google Scholar. The findings highlight the significance of understanding phishing attacks and keyloggers, the prevalence of web-based ordering systems, and the risks of SQL Injection and Cross-Site Scripting in web applications. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need for comprehensive measures, including technological safeguards, user education, and transparent communication, to address these security concerns and foster a secure and trustworthy online environment. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Teleoperation of remote assist robots has recently advanced owing to the development of communication technology. However, anonymous malicious attacks may intercept or falsify the network control system. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the security against cyber-attacks. As a countermeasure, an encrypted control method has been applied to prevent intercepting and detect the falsification of control parameters, as well as control signals by performing control operations with encrypted signals and parameters. Furthermore, we have proposed the algorithm to detect and restore the attack exploiting a vulnerability of encryption, which falsifies the plaintext by multiplying a constant factor. However, the algorithm is only effective for periodic motions with a fixed operating frequency and amplitude. If the frequency or amplitude of the motion is smaller than those of the base motion, the algorithm cannot detect the attack. To solve the problem, we propose an improved algorithm to detect and restore the attack in periodic motion with variable operating frequency and amplitude. In the proposed method, the operating frequency and amplitude are obtained through the position frequency analysis. They contribute to update the base energy, which is the average energy of corresponding periodic motion. We verified the proposed method for the bilateral control system using ElGamal encryption and experimentally confirmed its effectiveness against the FDI attack in various periodic motion. © 2025 ieee.

The airport baggage handling system ranks the highest in the percentage of airport complaints every year, and the smoothness of its transportation affects the operation of the airport and the travel of passengers to a certain extent. For the main operating airports in China, the questionnaire survey, fieldwork method, and overall research method were used to analyze the baggage handling systems of 42 terminals in 37 airports, and field investigations were conducted on baggage handling systems at 5 of them. Through data analysis and comparison, the main operation status of the airport baggage handling system was understood, for which the factors affecting the smoothness of the baggage handling system were proposed, the causes of baggage jam were identified;and the design methods and improvement suggestion measures to solve the smoothness of baggage transportation were given from 4 perspectives: baggage acceptance, baggage transfer process, baggage transfer terminal, and system operation control. The research results provide important data references for improving the smoothness of baggage handling systems in China and also provide relevant guidance for the design, manufacturing, and installation of the baggage handling system. © 2025 SPIE.

The protection mode of digitalization effectively transforms various national traditional cultures into digital products, providing a way of thinking for the protection of national traditional cultures. This mode still lacks the mode of how to mine the data of national traditional culture and analyze the internal relationship structure after facing the massive data, which can guide the digital protection of national traditional culture under the complex social conditions in the future. This paper discusses the significance of digitalization for the protection of traditional national culture under the environment and ideology of big data development. The possibility of protecting traditional national culture based on big data was analyzed and discussed. This paper designs and establishes the digital perception analysis system of traditional culture. The system uses grey clustering algorithm to identify the characteristics of cultural products. The experimental results show that this method can improve the efficiency of traditional cultural product classification. This method has certain reference value for the research of digital protection system of traditional cultural industry. © 2025 SPIE.

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) capitalizes on the orthogonal properties inherent in various subcarriers to optimize spectral efficiency within the system. This technique stands as the foundational technology for forthcoming wireless communication transmission and multiple access methodologies. Although conventional OFDM systems effectively mitigate multipath interference through the addition of cyclic prefixes (CPs), CP-OFDM systems are not without their limitations: 1) OFDM systems inherently exhibit high sidelobes in the sinc function, rendering them susceptible to frequency offsets;and 2) while this characteristic aids in interference elimination, it concurrently diminishes the system's spectrum utilization. Exploring enhanced multi-carrier modulation schemes has emerged as a paramount research focus within the realm of fifth-generation (5G) mobile communication technology. Instead of limiting themselves to the traditional CP-OFDM design idea of using rectangular functions as prototype pulse filters for pulse shaping, many researchers have introduced waveforms with good time-frequency focusing to improve the subcarrier spectral structure of OFDM systems in terms of the basic structure of the system. Simultaneously, they embarked on a fresh investigation aimed at adjusting the orthogonality conditions of subcarriers and the temporal grid point spacing. Existing studies have shown that the IOTA algorithm has good focusing characteristics in both the time and frequency domains, however, the IOTA function only satisfies the condition of orthogonality in the real domain, which makes it necessary to use the offset quadrature amplitude modulation (OQAM) modulation method for the IOTA function based OFDM system, i.e., pulse-forming based OFDM/OQAM system. Accurate detection of roadway and traffic control conditions is crucial for enhancing Advanced Driver Assistance systems (ADAS) in dynamic environments. This study aims to leverage deep learning techniques, specifically YOLO series, for their identification in real-world scenarios. This paper presents the design and implementation of an innovative control valve system that integrates a ball valve run by a servo motor, IoT capabilities, and PID control for precise operation. The system uses a 1/4-inch ball valve mounted in a custom 3D printed housing, driven by an MG995 servo motor. An ESP32 WROOM module microcontroller enables Wi-Fi connectivity and data transmission to the cloud via the Thingspeak platform. Ultrasonic sensors are used for tank level measurement, and the valve operation is controlled using a PID algorithm implemented in C++ on the Arduino IDE. The PID parameters are fine-tuned to achieve best performance. This solution offers a cost-effective and precise method for fluid control in various industrial applications. © 2025 ieee.
