Plastic-case circuit breaker is one of the important switching equipment in low-voltage distribution network, which can automatically cut off the power grid after the current exceeds the trip setting, and protect the distribution network and industrial equipment from damage. The traditional low-voltage circuit breaker uses a thermomagnetic or electronic controller, and the thermomagnetic structure relies on the thermal effect and magnetic effect of electricity to complete the tripping action, and there is no data interaction ability and intelligent control needs, which can not meet the requirements of the comprehensive development of the power energy network to transform into a digital, networked, intelligent new power system. In order to meet the requirements of reliability, safety and intelligence of plastic-case circuit breaker for new power system, an intelligent plastic-case circuit breaker device for distribution network is proposed. The intelligent device has the main line power supply, combined with the backup battery auxiliary power supply mode, with strong and weak electricity independent characteristics, support high-precision voltage and current acquisition capabilities, with HPLC/RS485 uplink communication mode, Bluetooth local communication interface and special expansion interface, can adapt to various external devices according to the application scenario. The software supports remote communication, telemetry, remote control, self-diagnosis, fault analysis, meter transcription data verification and other capabilities, and has multiple harmonics and other power quality parameter detection capabilities. The intelligent monitoring and remote control functions of intelligent plastic-case circuit breaker are realized, which effectively improves the digital and intelligent characteristics of intelligent plastic-case circuit breaker. This paper presents a finite-time adaptive optimal control strategy with event-triggered for uncertain nonlinear strict-feedback systems. By incorporating event-triggered, the method effectively reduces the computational and communication load of the controller, improves the resource utilization efficiency of the control system. To achieve optimal control, a reinforcement learning (RL)algorithm is employed, consisting of an actor and a critic. The actor controls the execution of actions, while the critic guides the adaptive law update of the actor by evaluating the control performance. Additionally, a designed fuzzy observer approximates the unknown terms in the system. To further enhance the system's speed and robustness, finite-time techniques are introduced, enabling efficient control of the nonlinear system. Finally, numerical simulation results validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. © 2023 ieee.

Teleoperation of robotic systems for precise and delicate object grasping requires high-fidelity haptic feedback to obtain comprehensive real-time information about the grasp. In such cases, the most common approach is to use kinesthetic feedback. However, a single contact point information is insufficient to detect the dynamically changing shape of soft objects. This paper proposes a novel telemanipulation system that provides kinesthetic and cutaneous stimuli to the user's hand to achieve accurate liquid dispensing by dexterously manipulating the deformable object (i.e., pipette). The experimental results revealed that the proposed approach to provide the user with multimodal haptic feedback considerably improves the quality of dosing with a remote pipette. Compared with pure visual feedback, the relative dosing error decreased by 66% and task execution time decreased by 18% when users manipulated the deformable pipette with a multimodal haptic interface in combination with visual feedback. The proposed technology can be potentially implemented in delicate dosing procedures during the antibody tests for COVID-19, chemical experiments, operation with organic materials, and telesurgery.

To ensure safe power supply and stable operation of the power grid, single-phase reclosing technology is widely used in domestic and foreign power systems. Except for some power plants, there is no special control strategy or requirement for the single-phase reclosing timing. Multiple circuit breaker failure accidents caused by single-phase reclosing under permanent faults have occurred in the domestic power system, which caused the expandation of accidents and seriously affected the safe and stable operation of the power grid. To avoid the occurrence of such accidents, this article conducts research on a rapid identification method for the potential risk of single-phase reclosing failure. Starting from the mechanism of single-phase reclosing failure, through electro-magnetic transient simulation and actual fault recording analysis, revealing decisive influencing factors of single-phase reclosing failure. Derive the calculation formula for short-circuit current after single-phase reclosing, and propose a risk assessment index, which is risk level of single-phase reclosing failure RANK, for single-phase reclosing failure under the most serious operating conditions. This index describes the probability of circuit breaker failure caused by single-phase reclosing. Based on short-circuit current calculation program in DSP (Digital Simulating Platform), one-click-identification for single-phase reclosing failure risk module is developed. The calculation accuracy is verified by comparing with the results of electro-mechanical and electro-magnetic transient simulation. The module conducts calculation and analysis based on the real operating data of the power grid, providing guiding suggestions for relevant departments in power grid company, effectively supporting the key work of safety risk prevention and control in China's power grid. © 2024 ieee.

The upper limb exoskeleton robot provides an effective treatment method for patients with upper limb functional impairments. A humanoid impedance learning controller (HILC) was designed based on upper limb motion data from humans, which enhances the effectiveness of repetitive rehabilitation training based on human motion mechanisms. Based on human kinematic structures and healthy upper limb motion trajectories, a bionic robot dynamic model was developed, which served as the foundation for designing a humanoid robot control system. To address inaccuracies in the robot's dynamic model, differential adaptive estimation is utilized to compensate for model uncertainties, thereby enhancing accuracy. Additionally, the integration of impedance learning control (ILC) and feedforward control (FFC) within the system reduced the time required to reach a stable state, decreased tracking errors compared to traditional controllers, and improved system stability. Finally, experimental simulations based on ideal parameterized upper limb motion data were conducted to validate the controller's performance. The results demonstrated that the control system could accurately track the ideal parameterized upper limb motion trajectories, with the shoulder and elbow joint trajectories of the exoskeleton robot closely resembling those of a healthy human. © 2024 ieee.

As a new industry integrated by computing, communication, networking, electronics, and automation technology, the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) has been widely concerned and highly valued at home and abroad. With the rapid growth of the number of intelligent connected vehicles, the data security risks of the IoV have become increasingly prominent, and various attacks on data security emerge in an endless stream. This paper firstly introduces the latest progress on the data security policies, regulations, standards, technical routes in major countries and regions, and international standardization organizations. Secondly, the characteristics of the IoV data are comprehensively analyzed in terms of quantity, standard, timeliness, type, and cross-border transmission. Based on the characteristics, this paper elaborates the security risks such as privacy data disclosure, inadequate access control, lack of identity authentication, transmission design defects, cross-border flow security risks, excessive collection and abuse, source identification, and blame determination. And finally, we put forward the measures and suggestions for the security development of IoV data in China. © 2022 ieee.

With a steady increase in the adoption of cloud storage systems, the client's data are at risk of being leaked. There are several methods of encrypting data which are quite useful but they lack some of the features of today's sophisticated threats. The methodology used in this research propose an encryption framework known as Obfuscrypt to improve the issues of data privacy as well as confidentiality of data stored in cloud storage systems. Obfuscrypt uses conventional encryption strategies incorporated with obfuscation and post-quantum cryptographic algorithms to provide a complex security plan immune to classic and quantum approaches. Some of the proposed other innovations include the decentralised key management with multi-factor authentication and RBAC-ABE as the fine-grained access control techniques. These features make it possible for only the authorized personnel to be in a position to be in a position of decrypting and retrieving the stored data thereby minimizing the possibility of the data being accessed by unauthorized people. The work also considers the issue of performance efficiency of the cloud storage systems. Similar to other symmetric encryption programs, Obfuscrypt uses light encryption algorithms and brings in to play the hardware acceleration so that it may infuse lesser computational overhead in the process of encryption and decryption. As can be clearly seen from the results, the actual work proves that the proposed framework not only offers a higher level of security but does not affect the system performance to a great extent. Also, the study addresses the post-quantum cryptographic algorithm for making the system resistant to an attack that can be posed by quantum computing systems. With the help of these improved algorithms, Obfuscrypt guarantees the permanent data security in the world of constantly emerging cyber threats. © 2024 ieee.

In the digital era, news portals have become a primary source of information for millions of individuals. This study investigated the potential influence of word choice and gender representation in news on the public's perception of gender, emphasizing its implications for gender equality and human rights. Research has shown that the language used in news reporting can reflect gender bias, highlighting the significance of analyzing gender representation in crime-related news. A word-embedding model was employed to identify and mitigate bias in word representation and ensure fairness in the data analysis. This study aims to enhance our understanding of gender representation in Indonesian crime-related news and to apply word-embedding techniques to identify biases in word representation. The results indicate a potential bias in word embeddings, emphasizing the importance of addressing and mitigating biases in language models to avoid reinforcing unfair stereotypes. © 2023 ieee.

Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) performs an essential part in harnessing the maximum power output from photovoltaic (PV) generators, regardless of fluctuations in temperature and irradiation conditions. This makes MPPT essential for maximizing the efficiency of PV systems. The boost converter handles increasing the PV DC voltage. Numerous MPPT algorithms are used to control these trackers, and one such technique is the fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The FLC can adapt to changes in environmental conditions and system parameters like temperature and Solar radiation, which can affect the performance of traditional control strategies. Consequently, fuzzy-logic-based MPPT control offers improved performance and higher efficiency in grid-connected PV systems (GCPV), mainly when operating conditions vary. To prove the benefits of this approach compared to Incremental Conductance (IC) under normal temperature conditions, GCPV is modeled using the MATLAB program. © 2023 ieee.

Magnetically-actuated flexible endoscopes (MAFE) have been well used in minimally-invasive surgery because they can be steered by a magnetic field thus more flexible than traditional endoscopes. Model-free and uncalibrated visual-feedback control makes it possible to manipulate MAFE with a magnetic field without external tracking systems. Because no extra sensor is required to obtain position and posture information, the size of MAFE can be made smaller. However, the traditional control method focuses on 2DoF control, which lacks control over the posture of the end of MAFE. This may result in unnecessary contact between MAFE and tissue and cause injury during the advancement of the endoscope. In this letter, we propose algorithms to enhance the pose control of MAFE to 4DoF and 5DoF based on model-free and uncalibrated visual-feedback control. Experiments in structured environments verify that the control algorithms are able to realize 4DoF manual navigation and 5DoF automatic navigation.
