The ultrasound robotic system (URS) is of tremendous importance for assisting sonographers to diagnose various diseases. Generally, the quality of ultrasound image which is evaluated through confidence map has a high dependency on the experience of sonographers. In order to obtain high-quality ultrasound image under URS, we take confidence map into consideration of control frame and propose confidence-driven adaptive optimal impedance learning scheme. By introducing an appropriate performance function which blends both confidence value and contacting force, an iterative learning strategy is conducted to achieve favorable scanning performance. Finally, we show the experiment results on the human volunteer.

Today, the development of modern digital technologies requires them to solve existing cyber security problems. Thus, in this study, by building an algorithmic model for user access control based on a functional table, information security of existing systems can be used to create imitation of processes occurring in the system, which allows you to apply and analyze specific problems. This study attempted to focus on algorithmic issues. In this algorithmic model based on Functioning table, the user's access control process is active at all transitions in the Petri net, and cases can be reached and detected with an initial marking, a sequence of transitions leading to a particular state. The algorithmic model based on the Functioning table of user access control has a strictly formal description that allows you to analyze the process of interaction of three subjects of information relations. This model allows switching the algorithmic model of user access control to the system to software implementation.

Cryptographic algorithms are crucial for secure communication in the Internet of Things (IoT). Quantum computers threaten public key cryptography algorithms like RSA (Rivest, Shamir, Adleman) and Diffie-Hellman (DH) key exchange schemes, which are widely in use today. As cryptographic algorithms are the foundation of secure internet communication, the development of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) is essential to protect transactions over the internet. However, solutions like Quantum Key Distribution require heavy infrastructure. So, it is not feasible for the Internet of Things with fewer resources in computing power and form factor. Post-Quantum Cryptography is helpful on these devices. But, it needs further developments and improvements. This paper analyzes cryptography algorithms and protocols of IoT with different categories. Integrated PQC of National Institute of Standards and technology (NIST) third level finalists on Raspberry Pi 4 (RPI4) board with Linux operating system. The performance of Post-Quantum Cryptography schemes for IoT has been evaluated. Finally, a Post-Quantum Cryptography scheme has been suggested for the Internet of Things based on the performance analysis. © 2022 ieee.

A number of guidelines, policies, tactics, and procedures served as the foundation for safety in the rail transport system. The personnel’s professional abilities must be trained and maintained, but the most crucial step in putting them into practice is having them interconnect logic schemes initially created with mechanical installations and subsequently logic schemes involving relays. It was necessary to update the regulations and modernize the signaling systems due to the events and mishaps that occurred on the railway network and the growth in traffic. Using the cyber-Physical System (CPS) approach may be the most effective way to introduce new security techniques. A significant area that has been examined by other writers in earlier projects is the thermal inspections of the train and infrastructure components using certain sensors that are linked to the machinery used for railway traffic control. Because of the basic concepts of CPS, the typical layered structure, the large computing and communication capabilities, and the similarity to conventional control systems, the progress and evolution of the railway system must use and apply CPS components. Many factors are involved in this action, from the large rolling stock manufacturers to the particular users. In this work the possibilities to implement the CPS concepts and the potential advantages in the railway system are emphasized. Besides thermal sensors, sensors for other variables and the possibility of integrating them in an intelligent system are studied. On the other hand, very important in the CPS concept are the models for equipment, operation, maintenance, simple example being given.

This research explores the challenge of incorporating IoT with Machine Learning (ML) applications to Precision Agriculture, particularly the use of wireless sensors for irrigation control. Information from sensors that monitor key parameters including temperature, humidity, moisture, and water levels are used to forecast water requirements and control pumps. Support vector machine (SVM), Decision tree (DT), Random Forest (RF) and Naïve Bayes (NB) techniques are adopted for the analysis to find out their accuracy levels. It is observed from all the above-performed models that among all, the SVM has the maximum prediction rate of the given dataset and is slightly outperformed by only the DT and RF. The confusion matrix which points to the misclassification patterns of each model gives an insight into identifying the best ML approach for use. The convergence of IoT and ML guarantees flexibility and responsiveness when controlling and designing agricultural systems. It is this approach that has the potential to enhance water resources management as well as address issues precipitated by climate change and growing worldwide food demand. © 2024 ieee.

As one of the main border gateway protocol (BGP) security schemes at present, the research on machine learning-based BGP anomaly detection technology faces severe data imbalance due to the lack of BGP anomaly data. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an unbalanced BGP data generation method based on undersampling technology and DoppelGANger, called US-DPGAN. Firstly, random undersampling is performed on majority-class samples to reduce the imbalanced ratio of the dataset and reduce the bias impact of majority-class samples on the data generated by DoppelGANger. Then, we use the trained DoppelGANger model to generate anomaly samples that match the original data distribution and add these samples to the original dataset to create a balanced BGP dataset. Through qualitative and quantitative experiments, we demonstrate that the data generated by the proposed US-DPGAN method better fits the distribution of the original data compared with the original DoppelGANger method. In addition, the anomaly detection model constructed using the US-DPGAN generated data outperforms some other methods in terms of detection accuracy and F1-Score. © 2023 ieee.

Across all industries, cloud-based automated control systems have completely changed how operational and environmental parameters are tracked and controlled. With cloud-integrated systems for real-time data collection, processing, and control, this concept presents intelligent, remote-controlled workshops and control rooms. To guarantee accurate control of crucial variables like temperature, humidity, pressure, and equipment efficiency, these systems make use of IoT devices, AI techniques, and big data analytics. Through sophisticated data perspectives, the cloud-based strategy enables predictive maintenance, improves flexibility, and lowers operating expenses. Stakeholders may make prompt, data-driven choices from anywhere with remote access to control rooms. These seminars provide practical experience with cloud-controlled settings and function as training and development centres. Truck platooning is a promising technology in freight transport, and needs to be commercialized as earlier as possible. Therefore, the evaluation of truck platooning is in urgent needs. To conduct the truck platooning evaluation, simulation platforms play an important role. This paper proposes a next-generation simulation platform for truck platooning evaluation. The proposed platform bears the following features: i) compatibility with various platooning decision-makers and controllers;ii) modularized design for compatibility with various manufactures;iii) be able to evaluate platoon performance on the lateral dimension. The detailed results reveal that with V/C increasing from 0.25 to 1.00, the truck platoon lane-change success rate declines, dropping from 0.93 to 0.03, and the average platoon lane-change delay grows, rising from 49.72s to 216.41s.

The serious threat of botnet attacks in the IOT world today can be effectively addressed with deep learning (DL). However, to train the model, large and complex data sets are required, which adds cost and necessitates expensive hardware to perform intricate mathematical operations. The IoT plays a significant challenge in memory constrained by implementing the DL. The hybrid Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Autoencoder is proposed to measures the performance to lower the IoT network traffic data and consumes bulky information. Following that, reduced datasets are examined and trained using hybrid Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithms. The hybrid deep learning algorithms attain the feature to enhance the precision, accuracy, recall, and F1 scores 96.51%, 100%, 96.51%, and 98.22%, which were higher than the conventional methods. The model's performance is analyzed using extensive experiments. © 2024 ieee.

There are many documents written in Sino-Nom capturing a wide range of historical, political, and literary facets of Vietnamese culture. To contribute to the process of preserving those documents, we focus on the task of building Optical Character Recognition models for Sino-Nom characters using a semi-supervised approach. Also, we propose a pipeline for collecting needed Sino-Nom document images which are used for training and evaluating our models. Being evaluated on our collected dataset, our OCR baseline achieves F1 scores of over 0.97 in detection and top-l and top-5 accuracies of 80.1% and 90.1% in recognition, respectively. © 2023 ieee.
