With the development of intelligent robots and the proposal of 'Industry 5.0', the intelligent robotic systems have been increasingly used in industrial scenarios. However, the current robotic grasping system is facing a series of problems, including low integration, low movability and limited application scenarios. To counter these problems, this paper designs an integrated robotic system for object recognition and intelligent grasping, consisting of an STM32F405RGT6 microcontroller board, path planning module, object recognition and intelligent grasping module, and environmental monitoring and communication module. This paper details the framework, the hardware and software design of the robotic system respectively. The results show that the robotic system achieves the design goal and realizes robust intelligent recognition and automatic grasping in a constantly moving process with high accuracy, stability and information-based degree. © 2022 ieee.

The surge in criminal activities presents a formidable challenge for global law enforcement agencies. Traditional crime detection methods often struggle to address the intricate and varied nature of criminal behaviors. Many businesses deploy CCTV systems for continuous observation of people and their activities. The developed system exhibits significant potential for applications in public safety, surveillance, and law enforcement, serving as an intelligent and automated tool for early detection and prevention of criminal activities. Continuous human monitoring of data is nearly impossible due to the workforce and attention required. automation becomes essential. The project proposed utilizes the deep learning technology, a CNN model is designed to identify harmful behaviour in the videos. To expedite the identification of abnormal events, it is crucial to automate this process, indicating which frame and segment contain the unusual activity. This involves dividing the video into frames and scrutinizing the people and activities in each processed frame. When it detects criminal activity, it can trigger alerts or notifications to the personnel, allowing them to respond promptly. © 2024 ieee.

In aerial cooperative transportation missions, it has been recognized that for small-sized but heavy payloads, the cable-suspended framework is a preferred manner. However, to maintain proper safe flight distances, cables always stay inclined, which implies that horizontal force components have to be generated by UAVs, and only partial thrust forces are used for gravity compensation. To overcome this drawback, in this paper, a new cooperative transportation system named Truss Aerial Transportation System (TATS) is proposed, where those horizontal forces can be internally compensated by the bar spherical joint structure. In the TATS, rigid bars can powerfully sustain the desired distances among UAVs for safe flight, resulting in a more compact and effective transportation system. Thanks to the structural advantage of the truss, the rigid bars can be made lightweight so as to minimize their induced gravity burden. The construction method of the proposed TATS is presented. The improvement in energy efficiency is analyzed and compared with the cable-suspended framework. Furthermore, the robustness property of a TATS configuration is evaluated by computing the margin capacity. Finally, a load test experiment is conducted on our made prototype, the results of which show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed TATS.

Nitrogen gas under pressure released from storage is expected to flow at a set pressure at the downstream end of the control valve. The dynamic changes in pressure and temperature are measured and the Proportional- Integral-Derivative (PID) error-based prediction model gives feedback signal to the control valve to attain accurate downstream pressure. It was observed that the error percentage in a PID controller is very much higher and hence the system never reaches the target pressure. As it is a highly dynamic system having few seconds as the processing time, less error percentage is desired to attain the set point in a short period of time. Statistical model of the real time data was done through regression and compared with the ANFIS modeling results. It could be found that the machine learning process with ANFIS modeling resulted in very less error when compared with the existing PID controller and the traditional statistical modeling. © 2023 ieee.

In evaluating industrial cyber-physical systems, there is an emerging inclination toward employing data-driven exploration techniques for the purpose of fault detecting and diagnosing typical procedural behaviors. The primary objective is to identify occurrences of typical behavior of the fundamental factors contributing to the aberrations. Multivariate statistical analysis, namely Principal Component Analysis (PCA), has con-siderable importance within the realm of research methodologies. This method is frequently employed in the context of outlier detection metrics, including the Hotelling T2 statistic and the Squared Prediction Error (SPE), which are commonly utilized for fault identification purposes. The present work presents a novel and adaptable thresholding technique that utilizes a modified variant of the PCA with wavelet denoising. This method en-ables enhanced sensitivity and robustness to abnormalities while minimizing the occurrence of false alarms and missed detection rate. In this paper, the novel methodology employs a dynamic threshold that undergoes adjustments in accordance with the available data of the Hanoi University of Science and technology ball-bearing experimental setup. The findings indicated that the novel strategy exhibited significantly more efficacy in identifying anomalies compared to the conventional technique. Moreover, it exhibited a reduced probability of producing erroneous alerts raising sensitivity and robustness for fault detection. © 2024 ieee.

Focusing on the polishing operation of automobile hubs, this paper proposed a polishing robot by combining a 1T2R parallel mechanism (PM) and an X-Y worktable. The dimensional synthesis and static/dynamic performance analysis of the 1T2R PM are also presented with the key points as follows. Firstly, the inverse displacement model and velocity model of the PM are built to formulate the motion/force transmissibility indices on the basis of the generalized Jacobian matrix. Secondly, the dimensional synthesis problem is formulated to determine the optimized normalized dimensional parameters by maximizing the global force/motion transmissibility of the PM subject to geometric constraints without mechanical interference. Finally, the finite element (FE) model of the 1T2R PM is built with the aid of the SAMCEF, and the static stiffness and lower-order natural frequencies of the PM are evaluated. The research results of this paper provide dimensions and mechanical structures for developing the physical prototype of the automobile hub polishing robot. © 2023 ieee.

This study introduces a small companion Robot and with some of its interesting features. Sentiment Analysis by facial expressions and sentences, Object detection by YOLOv3 algorithm, Sentiment Analysis by which the robot can recognize all organisms face and detect the emotion by facial expressions by using CNN algorithm and cv2, speech recognition to recognize the sentiment of the sentences. The Robot is made by using various sensors and actuators like 8∗8 LED matrix which displays the emotion on the screen, it can move forward and backward by the geared DC motors and are implemented features of the Robot by using various types of Machine Learning Algorithms. © 2023 ieee.

The rapid progression of edge intelligence has led to a notable increase in the prominence of deploying artificial intelligence applications on edge devices. To overcome the performance limitations of edge device memory systems, this research study introduces Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) and establishes a hybrid structure with traditional Dynamic Random-Access Memory (DRAM), resulting in a low-power memory system. In order to further optimize the performance of this hybrid storage system, the paper proposes weight coefficients for read and write operations, taking into account the potential negative impacts of these operations on NVM devices. Additionally, a method is designed to consider access frequency and utilize a migration algorithm to prevent redundant migrations. From a system perspective, an in-memory file system is implemented to enable rapid file access, significantly enhancing the storage speed of applications for artificial intelligence. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid memory architecture provides an average energy and delay product advantage of over 30%. Furthermore, the integration of the in-memory file system yields substantial enhancements in file access speed, resulting in a manifold increase. This approach presents a new methodology for implementing edge artificial intelligence on Internet of Things (IoT) devices. © 2024 ieee.

This paper addresses the critical challenge of advancing autonomous vehicle control in off-road environments, where traditional driver assistance technologies often prove inadequate. While AI-powered systems in modern vehicles have become highly effective at navigating structured urban landscapes, adapting these technologies for rural and off-road settings remains a complex and necessary undertaking due to varied and unpredictable obstacles. Off-road scenarios present unique challenges, such as dense vegetation, rugged terrain, uneven surfaces, and water bodies, which demand robust detection and classification capabilities beyond those found in urban areas. This study explores the application of state-of-the-art machine learning models, particularly transformer-based architectures, to enhance feature recognition and classification in rural contexts. We evaluate several advanced models, including hybrid architectures that combine convolutional neural networks (CNNs) with transformers, to determine their effectiveness in identifying complex off-road features. Findings reveal that, although current data limitations restrict the development of fully autonomous systems for off-road navigation, meaningful progress can still be achieved to improve driver assistance functionalities. This paper emphasises the urgent need for broader, more diverse datasets to ensure model robustness and generalizability for autonomous navigation in unstructured, unpredictable environments. Ultimately, this work highlights a promising path toward safer, more effective driver assistance technologies tailored specifically for challenging off-road applications and scenarios. © 2024 ieee.

The reagent distribution process carried out by PT Wanbass Timur Persada currently uses a distribution box whose temperature must be checked manually using a thermometer and cannot ensure that the storage temperature of the reagents during distribution remains in the range of 2 °C-8°C. Storage of reagents at inappropriate temperatures results in damage to the reagents which makes the user unwilling to accept the product. In addition to controlled temperature. To support the company's performance, a tool is needed that can control the temperature so that it stays at 2-8 °C. Thermoelectricity is used to change the temperature in the reagent distribution box. The cold temperature obtained by the reagent distribution box is influenced by the Peltier effect of the thermoelectric. Cooling components such as thermoelectric and exhaust fans will turn on when the DS18B20 sensor reads a temperature value above 8°C and will keep the box within the reagent-safe temperature range. The method used in this study is PID, this method is intended to assist the tool in maintaining stable temperature values and reaching predetermined setpoints as input. A box access security system is also added so that not everyone can access the reagent distribution box, this helps users and companies in monitoring reagent receipts. Access the reagent distribution box using the barcode that has been given to the recipient or customer, the barcode is different for each user. Barcode reading is carried out using a code scanner GM67 which is integrated with a solenoid. The system data of this tool will be stored on the data logger sd card so that the company can find out the history of reagent storage conditions during the distribution process. © 2023 ieee.
