The lack of rehabilitation therapists and the increase of disabled individuals have reduced the opportunities for patients to receive well rehabilitation assessment. Towards solving this challenge, establishing a therapist-assistance assessment system to reduce the medical resource consumption is demanding. This paper proposes an automatic hand rehabilitation assessment system based on the Leap Motion vision sensor and a self-designed hand strength measurement device. The assessment algorithm requires the patients to complete every motion given in Fugl-Meyer assessment scale (FMA), and automatically scores the completion level of each motion via recognizing different hand gestures and hand grasping strength. As illustrated by the experiments on ten volunteers, the proposed assessment system can obtain the reliable scores which are consistent with the ones manually obtained via FMA. © 2022 ieee.

The utilization of robots is expanding beyond the industrial sector and reaching into society. This paper considers the implementation of robots in retail stores for stocking products on shelves. To optimize the task input for users unfamiliar with robots minimizing the robot's operational time is essential. This paper presents a novel task planning method using natural language input. Our proposed method converts natural language tasks into symbolic sequence representations using Large Language Models (LLM) and then the optimal task procedures are derived by executing task planning based on Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS). To improve the accuracy of the conversion, we propose an interactive method that allows users to confirm the conversion results to improve the correctness of the response of LLM. We incorporate a mechanism for handling error messages caused by unexpected outputs from LLM. A few-shot prompting method is adopted to guide the LLM to higher performance. Computational experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can successfully identify the intended operational procedures for approximately 90% of 18 natural language tasks.

We proposed the mobile manipulation capability map(CM) and pose planning method based on multivariate Gaussian distribution in this paper. According to the theory of manipulator workspace operation capability map, we design a planning and control method for separating the mobile platform from the manipulator, to achieve high efficiency and high-success rate grasping. Solve the grasping problem of uncertain positioning of a mobile manipulator in chaotic and changing environments. The experimental results show that the filtering method based on the confidence interval of the multi-dimensional Gaussian distribution can greatly shorten the calculation time and ensure a reasonable calculation result error when the parameters are reasonably selected. Through the object grasping experiment in the actual environment, it is verified that the operation capability map proposed in this paper can improve the success rate of grasping in the cluttered environment. © 2022 ieee.

Generating automated calculations for financial data is an extremely complex task. In the daily operation and management of enterprises, manual processing methods can no longer meet current needs because they cannot cope with the complexity and rapidly developing and ever-changing intelligent information services. In order to improve financial business efficiency, improve decision-making accuracy and reduce error rates, modern information technology is needed for auxiliary decision-making support. This article aims to explore the corresponding accounting automation calculation method based on the artificial intelligence computing platform, design an automated calculation system for financial data generation based on intelligent systems, and conduct relevant tests on the system. The test results show that the real-time test results of the system range from 0.83-0.89;the rapid test results range from 0.85-0.92;the overall error rate is more than 88%. © 2024 ieee.

This paper is concerned with the feedback-based fusion filtering problem for linear rectangular descriptor systems. By utilizing full-order transformation, the original descriptor system is transformed into a full-order non-descriptor system. Based on the measurement output forwarded by the relay and the feedback information from the fusion center, the local filters are constructed, and the upper bound of each filtering error covariance matrix is obtained by using the basic inequality and mathematical induction. Moreover, the local filter gain is derived by calculating the minimum value of the obtained upper bound. The local information is comprehensively processed by using the covariance intersection fusion criterion and the corresponding feedback-based fusion filtering algorithm is proposed. Finally, a numerical simulation is given to verify the effectiveness of the designed filtering algorithm. © 2024 ieee.

Communication systems are critical for the bullet train networks. These systems are susceptible to a wide range of cyber threats, mainly Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks and Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks. These threats pose significant challenges, including the lack of robust real-time monitoring, limited scalability of existing systems, and delays in anomaly detection. The paper proposes an early attack detection and mitigation system to ensure the operational integrity and safety of the bullet trains. The proposed system consists of two methods: the first method alerts anomalies indicative of MitM attacks and blocks the payment gateway of the ticketing system;the second method accurately detects and mitigates the DoS attack. The proposed system was tested on real-time datasets;108 anomalies were detected in the ticketing system for MitM, and a probable DoS attack was predicted precisely based on the conditions set for the following parameters:delay, throughput, and packet loss. The results indicate that the proposed system effectively provides timely alerts, detects and mitigates the MitM and DoS attacks. © 2024 ieee.

The paper deals with the issues of ensuring the safety of objects in the intelligent transport environment (ITE). A general scheme and a symbolic description of implementing negative impacts (NI) in the ITE are presented. The concept of an integrated model for implementing NI in ITE, which is the basis for developing a safety monitor, is presented. For the complex model it is proposing the information and navigation model of the state and location of unmanned vehicles (UVs) in an intelligent transport (smart city) environment. The structure and the description of information and navigation elements (units and modules of the navigation subsystem) of the UVs, as well as a scheme of using data for local and global navigation in the UVs, are presented. The basic structural elements of information and navigation support of a smart city, types and layers of interaction, possible communication technologies and systems, and information support infrastructure are described. The synthesized information and navigation model for the UVs in the smart city environment is proposed. © 2023 ieee.

Topology identification is crucial for advanced analysis such as state estimation in hybrid AC/DC distribution networks. Traditional topology identification methods based on data statistics lack accuracy, and optimization-based methods exhibit low efficiency. To address these issues, a topology identification method based on mixed-integer linear programming is proposed. Initially, the normalized Lagrange multiplier is utilized to identify suspicious measurements, forming a set of suspicious measurements to reduce the number of integer variables to be determined. Subsequently, a linearization method for network constraints in hybrid AC/DC distribution networks is introduced to transform the topology identification problem into a mixed-integer linear programming model. The simulation results demonstrate that by constructing a set of suspicious measurements and linearizing network constraints, the efficiency of solving the problem is significantly improved while ensuring the accuracy of identification. © 2024 ieee.

With the rapid growth of aged population and the development of urbanization in China, the shortage of labor force in agricultural industry becomes an emergency problem. Enhancing the upgrade of agricultural machinery with automatic technologies is the only choice for future sustainable agriculture. Agricultural robots have advantages in precise operations and are important components of automatic agricultural machinery. Autonomous navigation is the basic function for agricultural mobile robots. We propose a center line tracking solution for the mobile robots in orchard, which employs LiDAR odometer to carry the positioning task and PID algorithm to implement the line tracking control task. Experiments are conducted in the practical orchard scenarios. The experimental results show that our solution can give good center line tracking performance, with a maximum localization error of 0.037 meters after marching 10 meters, mean lateral tracking deviation of 0.016 meters and mean orientation deviation of 2.505 degrees. © 2022 ieee.
