Cloud storage is crucial for managing large datasets, but dependence on a single cloud space raises security concerns. Conversely, distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) provides a secure cloud-based storage system operating on a peer-to-peer network. In our proposed system, user files are encrypted and distributed across multiple peers using the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) protocol, with hash values stored in the *** project integrates DLT and a cloud platform for storing filesfrom various users. Our project, distributed Cloud File Sharing Technology (DCFST), merges distributed computing principles with cloud technology to overcome traditional file-sharing limitations. It enables secure file sharing, storage, and access across interconnected devices, ensuring data integrity and authentication through blockchain. Smart contracts automate access control,granting precise content control to users. DCFST orchestrates a peer-to-peer network of nodes, with a central coordinator managing node discovery, file indexing, and load balancing. The implementation utilizes Python, JavaScript, and Ethereum for smart contract execution. DCFST introduces a resilient, user-centric file-sharing ecosystem by merging distributed systems with cloud infrastructure. It contributes to decentralized technology evolution, revolutionizing data collaboration and access paradigms. © 2024 ieee.

Time difference of arrival (TDoA) measurements are common in distributed localization systems, where events are emitted by the tracked source and the detected arrival times at the sensors, deployed at known locations, are used to compute the source location. Since erroneous measurements are common, e.g. due to non-line-of-sight conditions, the sensor fusion must be robust against such outlier measurements. In this paper the consensus-based TDoA fusion, which was proven very successful in various acoustic localization systems, is extended for the case when the source is moving and the event detections at the sensors are not reliable, thus sparse. The derivation of the extended consensus function will be introduced, and the performance is illustrated through simulation examples, showing accuracy around 10cm in realistic scenarios.

The transmission system's congestion has been aggravated by the integration of high-level renewable energy in the form of distributed generation, increasing load demand, and the ageing of the transmission network. This necessitates transmission network operators to utilize existing infrastructure facilities by employing cost-effective new transmission technologies, so as to maximise the system's potential for delivering. Congestion in the network may lead to inefficient operations or breakdowns including an outage of the linked system and network disruptions. The goal of this study is to solve the problem of congestion which may be due to sudden increase of load demand by rescheduling generators in the most efficient way possible, as well as optimal placement of distributed generator (DG) on the basis of Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) including determination of optimal sizing of DG by the Modified IL Shade algorithm satisfying load demand. As a consequence, there will be effective congestion management, less real power loss, and an improved voltage profile, as well as an estimate of any future load that may be accommodated. On a typical ieee-39 bus system, the validation of the proposed technique is successfully assessed in a Matlab framework through the MATPOWER tool. © 2022 ieee.

As the size of datasets and neural network models increases, automatic parallelization methods for models have become a research hotspot in recent years. The existing auto-parallel methods based on machine learning or graph algorithms still have issues with search efficiency and applicability. This paper proposes an automatic parallel method based on a dual-population genetic algorithm, TGA, which transforms model partitioning and placement into an integer linear programming problem and constructs a cost model to evaluate the solution. The solution space is built using the neural network's dataflow graph and device cluster's topology, and the dual-population genetic algorithm is used to search for the optimal model parallel strategy. Experiments with various models show that the proposed method can improve single-step execution time by up to 42% compared to the Baechi method and up to 37.7% compared to the Hierarchical method. © 2023 ieee.

Nowadays, sewage cleaning workers are often exposed to hazardous gases and environmental conditions that can negatively impact their health and safety. The current methods of detecting and monitoring gas levels and worker health frequently depend on manual inspections, a process which is time-consuming and susceptible to human error. Therefore, there is a need for an automated system using wearable devices that can continuously monitor gas levels and the health of sewage workers in real-time. For monitoring several environmental and physiological factors, the paper proposes an IoTbased wearable sensor. The approach employs three types of sensors namely MQ2, MQ135 and a pulse sensor. LoRa communication protocol is utilized for data transmission and communication. In the proposed approach two ESP32 microcontrollers are used, in which one ESP32 acts as central node and the other node act as a worker node. The environmental and physiological parameters are sensed and collected from the worker node. The sensed data is forwarded to the central node, using LoRa communication module. The harmful conditions of the sewage workers are detected and notified by the central node to the worker node, by means of buzzers and emails. This helps in taking crucial measures avoiding life-threatening incidents. The health condition of the sewage worker is also sent to nearby medical center, to take immediate action if there is any impact of harmful gases. The existing approaches are not effective as they are vulnerable to dangerous gas exposure. Overall, the proposed system has the potential to revolutionize safety and health monitoring in industrial environments. From the results obtained, it is understood that the proposed system will be suitable for real time risky environment like sewage systems to save the lives of the sewage workers. © 2024 ieee.

In order to create a successful routing protocol for WSNs, scalability must be taken into consideration. The relevance of WSNs (wireless sensor networks) is growing. Few uses of wireless sensor networks, despite their widespread use, need real-time, uninterrupted data delivery. Power, storage space, and energy consumption are the three main constraints for WSNs. When deciding on a routing protocol for a WSN, it is crucial to bear these constraints in mind. Based on their characteristics and the types of networks they operate in, routing protocols can be classified. There are several performance measures that may be used to assess a routing protocol's effectiveness. With this kind of study, we can look at how well different routing protocols function and tweak them to perfection. Using MATLAB, this project will pick and simulate a subset of the available cluster head-based routing protocols, before analyzing the resulting data. Before anything else, we use MATLAB to simulate the Low Energy Efficient Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) routing protocol and evaluate its efficacy. The outcomes of the experiments are collected and examined while discussing the effectiveness metrics used. © 2023 ieee.

The automated temperature measuring system based on a single-dimensional distributed sensor was created. The principle of an automated temperature measurement system based on a single-dimensional distributed sensor is innovative, as well as in demand from the point of view of reducing the cost of production. The developed system based on a single-dimensional distributed sensor can be used, for example, both in the field of robotics and in the field of flowmetry (when using it as a thermal anemometer). The proposed system includes a single-dimensional distributed sensor (SDDS) connected to a personal computer (PC) to obtain data about the measured environment using software (for example, LabVIEW). The system provides the measurement of the ambient temperature. sensors based on the p-n junction are used. The system is operated using the software. With the deep integration of advanced manufacturing technology and the new generation of information technology, human-machine collaborative intelligent manufacturing has emerged as the core technology driving the development of the industrial sector. However, the human-machine collaborative intelligent manufacturing equipment exhibits high complexity and uncertainty in faults. The data silos that exist between equipment, personnel, systems, and platforms contribute to decreased productivity. Furthermore, the prolonged and costly technician training cycles add further obstacles. Therefore, a virtual-real integrated cloud simulation architecture is constructed using LVC (Live, Virtual, Constructive) simulation technology combined with a distributed computing framework. This architecture aims to achieve intelligent human-machine collaboration and real-time virtual-real interaction in industrial production. Real time monitoring of equipment and the entire production process through cloud simulation technology to optimize production processes and efficiency. The architecture supports simulation services such as intelligent task scheduling, human-machine collaborative manufacturing, adaptive flexible manufacturing, and production equipment precision and performance evaluation. The current architecture has just been proposed as a theoretical innovation for intelligent manufacturing cloud simulation solutions, but it has yet to be put into practice. © 2024 ieee.

In this paper, we analyze the impact of different encoding schemes on the age of information (AoI) performance in a point-to-point system, where a source generates packets based on the status updates collected from multiple sensors and transmits the packets to a destination. In this system, we consider two encoding schemes, namely, the joint encoding scheme and the distributed encoding scheme. In the joint encoding scheme, the status updates from all the sensors are jointly encoded into a packet for transmission. In the distributed encoding scheme, the status update from each sensor is encoded individually and the sensors' packets are transmitted following the round robin policy. To ensure the freshness of packets, the zero-wait policy is adopted in both schemes, where a new packet is immediately generated once the source finishes the transmission of the current packet. We derive closed-form expressions for the average AoI achieved by these two encoding schemes and compare their performances. Simulation results show that the distributed encoding scheme is more appropriate for systems with a relatively large number of sensors, compared with the joint encoding scheme.
