Augmented Reality (AR) solutions are providing tools that could improve applications in the medical and industrial fields. Augmentation can provide additional information in training, visualization, and work scenarios, to increase efficiency, reliability, and safety, while improving communication with other devices and systems on the network. Unfortunately, tasks in these fields often require both hands to execute, reducing the variety of input methods suitable to control AR applications. People with certain physical disabilities, where they are not able to use their hands, are also negatively impacted when using these devices. The goal of this work is to provide novel hand-free interfacing methods, using AR technology, in association with AI support approaches to produce an improved Human-Computer interaction solution. © 2023 ieee.

The prototype model described in the paper discusses the detection and location of the fault in the distribution power system and monitors different parameters using sensors. It consists of two parallel sections of lines connected through the resistive load. The microcontrollerbased concept was used to detect faults in each section of the line. A model was developed which will automatically monitor the parameters such as current, voltage, power, and power factor with the help of sensors and generate alerts and take intelligent decisions to detect the faults in the lines.

For widespread adoption, public security and surveillance systems must be accurate, portable, compact, and real-time, without impeding the privacy of the individuals being observed. Current systems broadly fall into two categories - image-based which are accurate, but lack privacy, and RF signal-based, which preserve privacy but lack portability, compactness and accuracy. Our paper proposes mmSense, an end-to-end portable miniaturised real-time system that can accurately detect the presence of concealed metallic objects on persons in a discrete, privacy-preserving modality. mm-Sense features millimeter wave radar technology, provided by Google's Soli sensor for its data acquisition, and TransDope, our real-time neural network, capable of processing a single radar data frame in 19 ms. mmSense achieves high recognition rates on a diverse set of challenging scenes while running on standard laptop hardware, demonstrating a significant advancement towards creating portable, cost-effective real-time radar based surveillance systems. © 2023 ieee.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven flexible methods play a crucial part in saving resources within the world of Internet about Things (IoT)-enabled smart healthcare devices. The tiny size and wireless data sharing capabilities of Body networked sensors (BSNs) have gained significant attention in current medical media technologies. The long-term feasibility of an effective health system hangs on the high vitality economy, communication dependability, and longer battery lives of personal sensing devices. Addressing the necessity to improve sensor-based wearable methods in BSNs across collecting information, healthcare tracking, and analysis, this work presents key advances. Firstly, a groundbreaking framework is suggested to simultaneously improve energy efficiency, storage lifetime, and dependability for smart and interactive healthcare. Secondly, the study proposes an Adaptive Transmission Info Rate (ATDR) method, improving energy usage by changing the active duration of the sense node over the continually changing wireless channel. Additionally, an Adaptable Routing System (SARA) is built, adding a dynamic origin routing system for an efficient in terms of energy and quickest path, breaking from conventional navigation methods. The trial setting uses real-time datasets, showing widespread and cost-effective treatment through smart devices. The results suggest that the proposed methods beat standards in terms of magnified energy savings, improved reliability, and extended battery lifetime for handheld devices. © 2024 ieee.

Modern real-time settings and dispersed intelligence communication technologies require new solutions to improve efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. This research introduces dynamic edge-cloud orchestration for real-time intelligence. The approach uses the Dynamic Task Allocation Algorithm (DTAA), the Predictive Resource Scaling Algorithm (PRSA), and the Adaptive Communication Routing Algorithm. DTAA distributes work between edge devices and the cloud based on priority, processing time, and resources. PRSA estimates future resource needs, making edge and cloud scaling easier. ACRA adjusts communication routes based on latency, job priority, and network circumstances. We use numbers to compare the new strategy to six popular ones. These include SDA, TFA, RBI, FBA, and PRT. The proposed option outperforms the others in latency, scalability, security, reliability, freedom, and resource utilization. Due to its comprehensive framework for smart task assignment, resource management, and communication enhancement, DECO-RTI is a major advance in real-time settings. The approach can adapt to changing situations and automatically scale up resources, making it ahead of the curve for distributed intelligent communication systems. © 2024 ieee.

Since the late 20(th) century, there has been an increasing demand and interest for stretchable, bendable, and flexible electronics for different applications, such as medicine, wearable devices, and in industry applications. Unlike most image sensors, which are planar and inflexible, in this work, an ultra-thin image sensor is performed as a Hybrid System in Foil (HySiF) by using Chip-Film Patch technology, which is a concept for high-performance and ultra-thin flexible electronics. The technology allows the integration of ultra-thin chips and widely distributed electronic components, such as sensors, microcontrollers, or antennas, in thin flexible polymer film, using CMOS-compatible equipment and processing. In order to characterize this image sensor embedded in foil, an adapter board for the Andvantest 93000SOIC test system was developed. This paper demonstrates production process of the HySiF and its behavior and performance. In addition, the applications and future work of this bendable image sensor in foil system is discussed.

This article proposes a distributed video AI super-resolution reconstruction solution based on MapReduce to address the issue of slow video super-resolution reconstruction in a single-machine environment. The solution utilizes scene detection algorithms and precise video segmentation algorithms to divide long videos into multiple video segments based on scenes. These segments are then assigned to different processing nodes for parallel processing, and finally merged to reduce the time required for video AI super-resolution reconstruction. Experimental results demonstrate that this solution effectively improves the speed of video AI super-resolution reconstruction. In addition, this article addresses the issues of low efficiency and low storage space utilization in the distributed storage system HDFS (Hadoop distributed File System) when storing small files, specifically video segments. It proposes an optimized storage solution based on HDFS and Redis. This solution merges small files and constructs a small file merging and storage model on Redis, effectively alleviating the memory pressure on the NameNode in HDFS when storing a massive number of small files. Experimental results demonstrate that this solution sacrifices a certain degree of read/write performance but mitigates the rapid growth of NameNode memory. This solution holds significant theoretical and practical significance. © 2023 ieee.

Integrated energy systems represented by electric-thermal coupling systems have the characteristics of efficient energy utilization and environmental friendliness. They are a new force in energy reform and can effectively realize the interconnectedness of multiple energy sources. The power and heating systems in the electric-thermal coupling system are under the jurisdiction of different business units, and are independently dispatched and optimized by the power dispatch center and the heating dispatch center. Therefore, traditional centralized optimization dispatch algorithms are not suitable for the production needs of the actual situation. ADMM(Alternative Direction Multiplier Method, ADMM), as an alternative algorithm, can not only meet the requirements of independent scheduling of various energy objects, but also meet the requirements of modern wireless communication transmission networks for exchanging boundary information. However, the effectiveness of ADMM is constrained by factors such as communication costs. To address this deficiency, this paper proposes a distributed optimal scheduling of a typical integrated energy system considering communication cost. distributed computing is based on the ADMM framework, and a communication audit mechanism is embedded in the data exchange process. Finally, through case analysis, the effectiveness of the improved ADMM with embedded communication audit mechanism is verified, which can reduce communication frequency and cost. © 2023 ieee.

The state-of-the-art Internet of Things (IoT) innovation known as the Autonomous Gas Reservoir Management System (AGaRMS) totally changes the most common way of overseeing gas supplies. AGaRMS uses sensors that monitor gas levels and a distributed architecture that forecasts patterns in gas use to ensure that gas refills occur at the right time. Complex AI calculations examine verifiable information, current weather patterns, and usage patterns to estimate when gas will run out. This, then, prompts robotized booking sales to be transported off the supplier. Likewise, AGaRMS appeals to the savvy progression of energy, which empowers strong gas usage. The framework's flexibility and versatility make it reasonable for use in private and business settings, further developing production network productivity, reducing working expenses, and improving the client experience. The AGaRMS system offers a smart method for managing gas leaders that work with gathering effective power energy practices and streamlining gas provisioning processes. AGaRMS optimizes the gas supply chain and improves the user experience by catering to a wide range of residential and industrial applications with its flexible and scalable design. © 2024 ieee.

This paper investigates the problem of co-optimisation of Multi-energy Microgrids (ME-MGs) under the same distribution network. To this end, a distributed optimization strategy for ME-MGs based on Nash bargaining is proposed. Firstly, a multi-energy microgrid cluster model is established, and a demand response mechanism and a mobile edge computing system are introduced. Then, based on Nash bargaining theory, a distributed optimisation model of the multi-energy microgrid cluster is established. With the objective of maximising the benefits of the alliance between each multi-energy microgrid (ME-MG), the power trading volume between Microgrid operator (MGO) and Distribution network operator (DNO) and it between MGO are solved to obtain the power trading volume. With the objective of maximising the benefits of each ME-MG, the trading electrovalence between MGO is obtained. And the optimisation model is equated into two sub-problems of maximising social benefits and maximising payment benefits. to ensure that the cooperative benefits of the ME-MGs alliance can be fairly distributed among the alliance members. Finally, the alternating direction multiplier method (ADMM) is used to solve the constructed model. The results show that the proposed strategy can effectively improve the operational efficiency of each player. © 2023 ieee.
