Fall detection has been widely studied given the incidence of falls in the elderly population, often resulting in physical injuries that require prolonged medical treatment. This paper proposes a detection system to detect falls, and more importantly "soft falls". Soft falls do not necessarily produce physical injuries, but may be the consequence of a serious health issue such as a heart attack. Soft falls are more difficult to detect as they can be mistaken for daily activities. The detection system implements an artificial neuronal network model that reaches an AUC score of 98%. The model is reduced in size using a TinyML framework to be deployed in realtime on a microcontroller, making it compatible with wearable systems that do not invade or restrict mobility and activities of users.

Lack of patient monitoring makes it challenging to identify and treat illnesses in their early stages since remote patients frequently do not receive routine checkups and monitoring. The enormous cost of healthcare is a significant burden for many individuals, particularly those living in poverty. Inefficient healthcare delivery in the traditional healthcare system is often bogged down by bureaucracy and inefficiency, leading to long wait times, incorrect diagnoses, and ineffective treatments. real-time healthcare monitoring is necessary to deliver effective treatment. real-time patient data, such as vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information, must be available to healthcare practitioners. The goal of the smart healthcare kit using an embedded system is to address the health problems of persons while driving vehicles. The embedded medical sensors such as temperature, heart rate, and alcohol gas sensors collect and transmit patient data to healthcare providers in realtime enabling them to make informed decisions about patient care. This kit may be mounted to the steering wheel of any vehicle, making it simple to use and accessible for anyone while driving. The temperature sensor keeps track of the driver's body temperature and alerts the driver if it rises above a certain threshold. The heart rate sensor monitors the heart rate and notifies the user when it changes unexpectedly. Similarly, an alcohol gas sensor measures the alcohol concentration in the driver's exhaled breath to determine whether they have consumed alcohol. The increasing impacts of climate change on agriculture necessitates a shift towards adaptive solutions, with Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) emerging as a pivotal paradigm. This study underscores the imperative transition from conventional farming to CSA by shedding light on multi-faceted applications of IOT-based weather stations. This article details the design, development, and implementation of a lowcost weather station integrated with a control system, driven by Arduino Mega. This system also includes cloud- based and edg-ebased data transmission capabilities enabling real-time data monitoring for the farmers and efficient data collection. In the context of precision agriculture and smart farming, this study aims to achieve the goals of meteorological innovations, cost-effectiveness, customizability, and scalable solutions for diverse applications such as weather monitoring, climate forecasting, pesticide spray, CO2 injection, and automated irrigation. Results and discussions showcase the system's capabilities in capturing meteorological data, including CO2 concentration, solar irradiation, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall. The study concludes by highlighting the flexibility and scalability of the designed system, with potential applications extending beyond environmental monitoring to encompass irrigation control, plant health monitoring, and overall productivity enhancement.
