The design of the power distribution network (PDN) is particularly critical and requires a comprehensive approach that considers the hierarchy of the power delivery system, from the power management integratedcircuit (VRM) to the System-on-Chip (SoC) including the package and board. With the increase in scale and complexity of integratedcircuits, the amount of test data volume has also grown. Due to the simple structure, low computational cost, and capability to handle large-scale data of clustering algorithms, they offer a new solution for processing test data of integratedcircuits. This paper defines two characteristics based on the features of test data: frequency_rate and count_of_ones, and incorporates them into the K-MEANS, DBSCAN, and OPTICS algorithms, respectively, to achieve segmentation of circuit test data with the silhouette coefficient as the evaluation criterion. Based on extensive data experiments, the results indicate that the OPTICS algorithm achieves the best clustering effect and is suitable for subsequent data processing.

An in-depth review of radiation-hardened (Rad-Hard) cells for advanced CMOS integratedcircuitdesign is presented. The diamond style, the I-gate and the enclosed gate layout schemes are discussed, focusing on the design challenges that each layout style addresses. Furthermore, a radiation-hardened by design (RHBD) methodology is proposed which can be seamlessly integrated into the standard design flow. The proposed methodology enables the development of an OA library with radiation-hardened pcells, which can be exploited not only in the layout phase but also in the schematic phase, having precise models coupled to specific layout views.
