In the realm of Vehicle-to-Everything systems and vehicular ad-hoc networks, unique characteristics such as high data speeds and bandwidth requirements distinguish them from conventional wireless technologies. Effective transmission and reception of critical Cooperative Awareness Messages and safety data necessitate advanced hardware and software capable of handling substantial message volumes efficiently. This makes it difficult to assess the vulnerabilities of the system, in particular for non-proprietary parties. For this purpose, with a particular focus on wireless communication channels, a framework based on Software Defined Radio technology is presented to assess vulnerabilities and evaluate the profound security of Vehicle-to-Everything network communications between On Board Unit and Road Side Unit for implications of unauthorized interception and manipulation of vital vehicle data by individuals situated near highways. The paper raises pertinent questions about the security level of Vehicle-to-Everything communications and focuses on the importance of robust cybersecurity measures in safeguarding Vehicle-to-Everything systems against potential threats and ensuring the integrity and safety of vehicular communication channels.

In underground communication systems, continuous mud pulse signals are susceptible to pump noise during transmission, resulting in a high bit error rate(BER). In this paper, a Normal Inner Product Orthogonal Matching Pursuit(NIPOMP) algorithm is proposed for the transmission characteristics of continuous waves in the underground. First, a cyclic prefix(CP) is added in front of the sent data. Then the observation vector is obtained by making a difference between the CP of the latter set of data and the CP of the former set of data. Then, the columns of the sensing matrix that are most correlated with the observation vectors are selected as candidate support sets by calculating the L2 norm. The least squares method was used to solve for the previous set of pump noise estimates. Finally, the pump noise is reconstructed using the correspondence between the time and frequency domains. This paper establishes a complete underground communication system. We discuss the noise characteristics of pump noise and analyze the denoising performance of the NIPOMP algorithm in depth. Simulation results show that the algorithm significantly reduces the system BER in complex channel environments with more drastic fading, including gas-phase, liquid-phase, gas-liquid two-phase, and liquid-solid two-channel environments. © 2024 ieee.

As the most important communication tool between people, language is an ever-increasing demand for people to quickly switch between different *** study aims to develop a mobile intelligent translation system based on the Android platform, allowing users to perform multilingual translation anytime and anywhere, and to provide high-quality and accurate translation *** paper mainly studies the mobile intelligent translation system based on the Android platform. This paper designs and implements a mobile intelligent translation system based on the Android platform, including image acquisition, preprocessing, image text recognition and translation results processing functions. Through experiments, it can be known that the online translation speed of the mobile intelligent translation system constructed in this paper is 31%, the pronunciation success rate is 99%, and the translation success rate is 98.7%, which has a certain gap with the more mature translation systems on the market. © 2023 ieee.

Smart Voting System will improve the whole voting system involving the use of advanced technology to increase Security, Efficiency, and User-Friendliness in voting process a standard way to make an entry through the voter login where unique credentials are used to identify the individual performing the action, by implementing face recognition algorithms as an extra effective step to confirm safe access, facial characteristics are processed and compared to a pre-registered database, creating a biometric comparison between the voter who is trying to gain access and the previously stored facial records, further ensuring secure access and a significant reduction in impersonation fraud, then sending an OTP (One-Time Password) to the registered mobile number or email of the voter to be entered and confirming the action then saving the details of the voter in the system database to be used under strict privacy constraints when performing the voting action by allowing one individual at a time to easily scroll to their desired options or candidates, encrypting the vote and keeping it secure within the database after being submitted. So no one else can change anything or modify that. It not only simplifies the voting process but also enhances the security of its process with biometric verification and encryption. This not only increases the electoral efficiency;but makes it more credible as well. © 2024 ieee.

Insider threats are serious security risks that come from people who work for or are contracted by an organization, such as partners, employees, or contractors. These people use their authorized access to commit hostile acts against the infrastructure, data, or assets of the company. Serious ramifications could result from these dangers, such as financial losses, reputational harm, data breaches, and possible threats to national security. Enterprises must strengthen their defenses with strong intrusion detection and prevention systems because of the growing attack surface for insider threats caused by the increasing adoption of digital technology and remote work habits. Organizations must use a combination of preventive strategies and detection mechanisms, such as privileged access management (PAM), role-based access control, data loss prevention (DLP) techniques, two-factor authentication, and thorough insider threat awareness training, to effectively combat insider threats. © 2024 ieee.

Photo multiplier tube (PMT) detector-based spectroscopy diagnostic has been installed for plasma physics experiments in ADITYA-U Tokamak. The output of PMT is current pulse ranging from 100nA-50μA depending upon the light detected from plasma. To condition this current signal to a level compatible with data acquisition system (DAQ) for further processing, analog signal conditioning electronics (SCE) has been designed and commissioned in ADITYA-U Tokamak at Institute for Plasma Research (IPR). SCE is a vital interface between detectors/sensors and the data-acquisition and control system. Typical stages of SCE include current to voltage conversion, voltage amplification, filtration, galvanic isolation, impedance transformation, level translation. As electronics has to operate in high electric and magnetic field environment of Tokamak, special care needs to be taken in design and development of signal conditioning electronics to achieve accuracy in measurement. In ADITYA Tokamak, we had developed a 6U size chassis-based SCE system for PMT based spectroscopy diagnostic. ADITYA Tokamak in Institute has been upgraded to ADITYA-U Tokamak. The spectroscopy diagnostic requirement has also been upgraded. The electronics has also been upgraded in design and topology to improve signal to noise ratio, increase the channel density, lower the power consumption and easy to maintain. The paper presents new electronics of Adity-U Tokamak. © 2024 ieee.

Mobile communication network site planning is one of the important links in the construction of mobile communication system, dense base station construction will increase the cost of station building exponentially, how to balance the cost and coverage, accurate positioning of the weak coverage area has become a research hotspot of mobile communication network site planning. Focusing on this problem, this paper firstly establishes a mathematical model of mobile communication network site planning with 90% coverage rate as a constraint, and minimizes the station construction cost as an objective, and designs the nearest neighbor point finding method to obtain the base station planning scheme;Based on this, DFS clustering partitioning is performed on the remaining coverage points, and the weak coverage area is determined;Taking the actual mobile communication network data of a certain region as an example, the experimental results show that the method effectively reduces the coverage rate in the case of 90%. The experimental results show that this method effectively reduces the cost of station construction in the case of 90% coverage, and accurately locates the weak coverage area, which can effectively assist in mobile communication network site planning. © 2024 ieee.

Using CNN and GAN improves road safety, says study. Modern machine learning techniques for mobile crowdsourcing may identify driver fatigue early. Our convolutional neural network (CNN) model detects drivers' fatigue using facial expressions, head movements, and other visual clues. Mobile devices and high-resolution cameras make the system straightforward to install in automobiles. GAN (Generative Advisal Network) handles unequal and limited training data. Creating realistic, synthetic weary driver photos improves the dataset and helps CNN learn from different driving scenarios and face features. Our edge-based computing distinguishes it. In mobile crowdsourcing with unpredictable internet connections, processing data locally on users' smartphones minimizes latency and bandwidth. The edge-based solution processes sensitive data locally on the device rather than sending it to servers, increasing user privacy. Extensive testing showed our system diagnosed driver weariness better than others. GAN-generated data increased model performance in under-represented training datasets. The study shows how to merge CNN and GAN in edge computing with 98.4% accuracy and driver fatigue monitoring. We found important implications for mobile crowdsourcing and intelligent transportation system development. © 2024 ieee.

The analysis of this research paper is touching the road safety concerns by focusing on developing a system which catches the drowsy state of the person who is driving which emerges as a big reason that causes up to 30due to this. Throughout the paper, the study discusses about literature review and various methodologies that include physiological, behavioural, and multimodal fusion approaches showing the evolution and history of drowsiness detection technologies. The methodology includes using of various sensor technologies and algorithms to collect data from the driver and process it to analyse data in real time. Eye movement and facial expressions are extracted which helps the system to identify signs of drowsiness with greater accuracy. When the driver is detected as drowsy a mechanism is triggered to alert the driver, averting accidents. Even with some challenges, the system is a big step towards increasing road safety utilizing advanced technologies to reduce the risk of driver fatigueless. © 2024 ieee.
