The problem of counting the spanning trees is related to various interesting problems. The number of spanning trees is applied in several practical areas. But computing the number of spanning trees in general networks using standard algorithms (Matrix tree theorem is the first method) is computationally arduous. In this paper, we aim to compute the number of spanning trees in the corona edge product, investigating an effective combinatorial method, providing analytic formulas for this product graph of some classes graphs. © 2023 ieee.

Cloud computing services and gig economy platforms vary in flexibility, efficiency, and scalability due to their pricing schemes. Cloud computing services provide flexibility and cost control via pay-as-you-go, subscription, and freemium models. Like gig economy platforms, workers and customers pay for task completion, time-based contracts, and premium services. Assessing how successfully different pricing techniques fulfil varied demands, from short-term initiatives to long-term commitments, requires identifying their strengths and weaknesses. The goal is to evaluate these models' capacity to meet shifting demand, save money, and scale. The methodology also assesses cost predictability and company and consumer advantages of each pricing structure. The comparison seeks to improve resource allocation and financial planning by revealing how various pricing systems function in different circumstances. The research helps decision-makers use cloud services or gig economy platforms for different operational purposes by emphasizing their economic consequences. From datasets, simulated pricing model data was examined. The first example includes settings such as Hours Used (5-25), Pay-as-You-Go (10-50 USD), and Subscription-Based (30 USD). The second instance has Job Size (Resources) from 5 to 25, Freemium Model (USD) from 10 to 30, and Usage-Based Pricing (USD) from 10 to 50. © 2024 ieee.

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a valuable non-invasive brain-computer interface technology. However, traditional EEG systems are often prohibitively expensive and bulky. In this paper, we present a novel, low-cost and portable EEG system with 32-channel EEG acquisition for wearable applications. The proposed system consists of signal acquisition, signal processing, WiFi transmission, and computer data analysis. It can acquire 32 channels of EEG data at a high sampling rate of up to 2 kHz and transmits data via WiFi. To evaluate our system, we utilize common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) test, noise analysis, and functional assessments including alpha wave detection and steady-state visually evoked potential (SSVEP) experiments. Experimental results demonstrate that our system has superior performance (more channels and higher sampling frequency) with lower cost compared with existing EEG acquisition systems, providing a feasible solution for most EEG acquisition and analysis applications. © 2024 ieee.

In contemporary education systems, educational data is a core element in driving educational advancement and optimizing management. Most educational data is stored in the cloud as videos, images, or text, which facilitates its storage and dissemination. However, there are two significant challenges: First, existing data compliance detection systems may be vulnerable to attacks where malicious actors inject unqualified data into detection models, resulting in the upload of non-compliant educational data. Second, there is the issue of incomplete data storage. data in cloud computing environments might be lost or corrupted due to various issues, posing a threat to the utilization of educational data. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a blockchain-based auditing scheme for educational data supporting trusted detection scheme(BAS-EDTD). This scheme uses smart contracts to randomly select AI detection modules for data inspection, ensuring that uploaded data is harmless and generating a detection report stored in the cloud. Additionally, a Trusted Third Party (TPA) assesses the reputation of AI detection modules to prevent those in untrusted cloud environments from injecting non-compliant data and affecting detection efficiency. Simultaneously, we adopt certificateless aggregate signature technology to perform data integrity auditing, reduce storage and computing overheads, support batch verification, and improve verification efficiency. Security proofs indicate that this scheme can effectively resist forgery attacks and demonstrates lower computing and communication overheads compared to existing schemes in performance analyses. © 2024 ieee.

Spatio-temporal forecasting, a prominent research focus for understanding the dynamics of data flow in various domains, has recently extended its significance to traffic prediction as a notable application. Considering topology of data flow, existing methods mainly utilize Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs), where graph construction is the basic concern and generally determines how data features are propagated. However, through extensive investigations and theoretical evidence, it is revealed that graph construction strategy, which is usually regarded as the key step to success, has actually provided very little benefit, while the presence of feature propagation itself on spatiotemporal domain is more significant, i.e., feature propagation carry more weights than how they do. Thus, by making slight refinements of a feature normalization method, we propose a Spatio-Temporal Propagation (STP) module, which does not require intervention of a specific graph structure, yet simple and effective. Various experiments on public datasets verify that the proposed STP module is an on-the-shelf tool that can be accessed to the end of current models or even replace GCNs as an alternative for capturing spatiotemporal features, while achieving better predictions. While energy prices are seen as the major drive for competitiveness in the manufacturing field, intelligent maintenance scheduling is also one of the most widespread and significant issues plaguing the manufacturing industry. Maintenance activities can cost between 15% and 70% of the price of goods sold, thus it is essential to optimize both energy and maintenance costs. The purpose of this paper is to propose a production line optimization system that focuses on reducing the total costs (i.e., energy and maintenance costs) while also taking into account dynamic pricing, Renewable Energy Resource (RER) usage, and constraints applied in the production plan. In the proposed system, tasks and maintenance activities are scheduled by using a Genetic Algorithm. To validate the proposed system, a baseline scenario that uses real production data is considered. The obtained results show that the system is able to comply with imposed maintenance hours while also minimizing costs by shifting tasks to higher RER generation and lower energy price times, while the opposite is done to maintenance activities. © 2023 ieee.

In healthcare delivery, patients are diagnosed, medical tests are taken to be analysed to provide better treatment and test results are based on providing treatment to patients. Drug recommendation systems are widely used by medical professionals as medico-assisted systems, but recommendations are mute to surgeries or therapies. This paper presents a novel approach to designing an intelligent cognitive clinician (IC2) that diagnoses the patient using NLP algorithms for a speech of the patient to text translation or textual data for symptoms extraction and predict the disease and possible medical tests to be taken. Once the test results are available, the system recommends the drugs, therapies, or surgeries and patient feedback improves the treatment recommendation. So, IC2 is a drug, surgery, or therapy recommendation system based on symptoms, test results, and patient feedback. © 2023 ieee.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is finding more and more uses in HRMS and HRIS as a result of HRM's shift towards digitalisation. An increasing number of tactical procedures have begun to use AI. Training and development systems, disciplinary action management, compensation and benefit analysis, employee satisfaction surveys, and performance reviews are all part of this. We plan to read up on articles and books that cover the topic of AI in HRM so that we can better grasp this new trend. This research intends to illuminate the pros and cons of artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of the hiring process, which stands to be significantly altered by this technology. This article takes a look at several AI-powered recruitment strategies and weighs the benefits and drawbacks of using AI in this industry. Social media screening, video interviews, chatbots, predictive analytics, gamification, and resume screening are all examples of AI-based recruiting tactics that might greatly benefit businesses, according to the results. Efficient hiring, cost savings, and improved talent acquisition are all possible outcomes of implementing these tactics. Still, there are certain legitimate moral and legal questions that arise from using AI for hiring purposes, such as the possibility of algorithmic prejudice and discrimination. © 2024 ieee.

The acquisition of color information plays an increasingly pivotal role in visual tasks. However, due to optical hardware constraints, some novel RGB-D imaging techniques commence by capturing initial overlapping stereo images and rely on post-processing to retrieve both image and depth data using the inherent RGB and binocular disparity signals. Predominantly, these methodologies focus on depth information recovery, treating image quality enhancement as a secondary objective and thus compromising the precision of image restoration. We contend that high-fidelity image reconstruction is an essential aspect of visual perception. Furthermore, precise image separation can significantly aid depth estimation. In light of this, our work concentrates on the stereo image decoupling task within such imaging devices. We introduce UI-Net, a Coupled Image Intersection-Union Separation Network, which proficiently addresses the uniqueness of stereo image coupling scenarios. By emphasizing both intersection and union characteristics, and integrating the plug-and-play UI-Block module, our network achieves precise separation of the two images. The experimental section provides qualitative and quantitative assessments of the image separation precision on public real-world and synthetic datasets. Moreover, we validate the efficacy of the separated images as inputs for depth estimation tasks through a pretrained stereo matching network. © 2024 ieee.

The communication information acquisition system has the problem of high packet loss rate. This paper designs an intelligent communication big data information monitoring system based on genetic algorithm. Through the built-in Transmission Control protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) stack, additional pins are selected as the carrier of the register and connected to the circuit. Through the design of environmental information communication software architecture, coordination node program and terminal node program, the environmental communication software system is designed. The wireless communication network is selected as the network module of the communication information monitoring system, and combined with the transmission link balanced configuration method, the communication information monitoring data is sent and received and the communication route is designed. The simulation results show that the overall stability of the system is superior. The output results are accurate and reliable. © 2023 ieee.
