In view of the high-speed data transmission requirements of the new generation of power line carrier communication in distributed photovoltaic information access, data compression sensing is required to improve. In this paper, we study an AIC-based distributed photovoltaic data compression sensing method. Based on the adaptive characteristics of K-singular value decomposition (K-SVD) algorithm, the data sparsity is dynamically estimated to realize the adaptive dynamic adjustment of data acquisition. AIC algorithm is used to reconstruct data, which greatly improves the accuracy of data reconstruction. Information aggregation based on compressed sensing is constructed to achieve high efficiency data aggregation under the condition of low sampling rate. Simulation results show the superior performance of the proposed algorithm in the data transmission volume and energy consumption. © 2023 ieee.

As ADAS (advanced Driver Assistance systems) are becoming more common in the railway environment, the need for data to be able to develop those systems keeps increasing. We are reaching higher Grades of automation (GoA) in trains and subways, but there are not that many publicly available datasets to train the models that help us reach that autonomy;specially when compared to the number of datasets with automotive data. In this paper, we propose a pipeline for annotating rail tracks by using ASAM's OpenLABEL format and its labelling tool WebLabel. With the proposed pipeline we have demonstrated WebLabel's fitness for track annotation and we hope it will help in the release of future datasets for the railway environment. The pipeline helps reduce time in annotation in all the proposed steps. we see a significant change specially by projecting annotations between cameras in sequences that were recorded with more than one camera, where the total time of annotation was reduced by 43.41 %. We also propose a semiautomatic annotation step, where we segment the tracks and load the preannotations into WebLabel before the manual annotation. By doing this we managed to reduce the time spent annotating by 8.25%. © 2024 ieee.

In the context of the escalating malware threat landscape and the ongoing challenge of identifying modern malware, this research investigates the utility of Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) for malware classification. Various DNN architectures are explored, revealing their ability to accurately classify malware across different types with consistently high accuracy rates. The study also examines the feasibility of deploying DNN models on edge devices for real-time classification in resource-constrained settings, emphasizing the importance of efficient performance optimization. This research contributes to advancing malware detection techniques and highlights the significance of early malware detection for preventing adverse consequences. It additionally addresses the distribution of security tasks to edge devices to maintain the integrity and availability of large-scale IoT systems, fostering a more resilient and secure digital ecosystem. © 2024 ieee.

With the rapid growth of technology, the era of network information has led to an increasing demand for communication among people, and the means of communication have also undergone earth shaking changes. To meet the various forms of international and domestic conference exchange needs, major enterprises around the world have introduced various advanced multimedia intelligent conference equipment and created various forms of conference halls. However, with the continuous growth of mainstream multimedia conferences, equipment maintenance issues, human-computer interaction issues, and resource utilization issues have gradually become prominent, becoming key factors that constrain conference efficiency and experience. In order to effectively address these challenges, this article proposes an optimization algorithm for a centralized control system of conference equipment based on artificial intelligence (AI). This algorithm utilizes advanced technologies such as deep learning (DL) and the Internet of Things (loT) to achieve automatic recognition, configuration, status monitoring, and intelligent scheduling of conference equipment. By collecting and analyzing device and user data in real-time, algorithms can automatically optimize device settings, improve human-computer interaction efficiency, and allocate device resources reasonably to ensure the smooth progress of meetings. The experimental results show that the algorithm can significantly improve the management efficiency and user experience of conference equipment. © 2024 ieee.

The problem of automatic neural network assessment of image quality based on the widely used TID2013 image database is considered in the paper. Image quality assessment without the use of basic reference images, as one of the preliminary stages of their processing, is of great importance from the point of view of the information capacity of the images, the necessity and possibilities of enhancement of the image quality when solving the next tasks of segmentation, classification, recognition, etc. A preliminary analysis of the used image quality assessment metrics and, as an alternative, the use of neural networks, primarily deep neural networks, was conducted. The structures of used neural networks and variants of input data for training neural networks in the problem of image quality assessment are presented. The first variant is a regression problem, and the other one is a classification task. Keras software using TensorFlow for tensor operations is used to build and study neural networks.

For manned spacecrafts, astronauts have become an important part of the whole system, and the human-machine interaction ability of spacecraft information system will directly affect the astronauts' work efficiency, even the success of the mission. In addition, with the improvement of spacecraft payload support capability, spacecraft information system needs to forward, calculate and store lots of experimental data when processing its own control instructions and state information. And how to make full use of system capability to process data in real time is also the key part of information system design. Combined with the mission requirements of future manned spacecraft, an integrated intelligent information system design method based on cloud platform and smart home technology is proposed, which comprehensively uses system resources to meet the requirements of spacecraft control and state monitoring, long-term astronaut residence, and experimental data processing. The effectiveness of the method is proved by software simulation and spacecraft on-orbit test. © 2023 ieee.

Indoor conditions in a confined space are the result of the interactions with the surrounding environments, air-conditioning effects, occupants' presence, and activities. The airconditioning systems' role in controlling the microclimate became fundamental in the last years, but with the COVID-19 pandemic also their crucial task in contamination and infection diffusion emerged, especially in healthcare facilities. The idea of H-MOLISE (Healthcare Multi-Operative Lab for Innovative Structures and Equipment), whose setup is presented below, arose from these considerations. The new lab is under construction in Campobasso (Italy) at the University of Molise and it will aim to test innovative solutions for the envelope (ventilated facades, green roof, etc.) and active energy systems for advanced control of indoor conditions, as can be necessary in hospitals. In particular, it will be possible to simulate a real-scale operating block with an operating room compliant for the most advanced surgeries, or rooms of the civil sector. The lab will be equipped with a multitude of plants and terminals to evaluate their effects on indoor fluid dynamics, air quality, and thermal-hygrometric conditions. The lab plants will be reconfigurable and a dedicated monitoring and data acquisition system for the main quantities to be controlled will be installed.

Bayesian network with latent variables (BNLV) plays an important role in the representation of dependence relations and inference of uncertain knowledge with unobserved variables. The variables with large cardinalities in high-dimensional data make it challenging to efficiently learn the large-scaled probability parameters as the conditional probability distributions (CPDs) of BNLV. In this paper, we first propose the multinomial parameter network to parameterize the CPDs w.r.t. latent variables. Then, we extend the M-step of the classic EM algorithm and give the efficient algorithm for parameter learning of BNLV. Experimental results show that our proposed method outperforms some state-of-the-art competitors. © 2023 ieee.

Maritime transport significantly contributes to global economic growth. The majority of global commerce is transported via sea. Ensuring navigable conditions for maritime transportation is essential to keep ships moving safely and efficiently. Remote sensing technologies, particularly Aerial Laser Scanning (ALS) technology, can be adapted to monitor sub-sea conditions. Based on point clouds from LiDAR Bathymetry, the ALS supports practitioners in classifying submerged objects. However, this technology provides an extensive amount of Big data which needs to be processed by practitioners. With recent advancements in Deep Learning (DL), multiple researchers have begun exploring DL algorithms to classify Airborne Bathymetry LiDAR point cloud data. This paper employs a Systematic Lit-erature Review (SLR) methodology to examine the applicability of DL in the classification of airborne Bathymetry LiDAR point cloud data. Through the SLR process, we identified nineteen hundred relevant articles from the ScienceDirect and Google Scholar databases over the last decade. A comprehensive analysis of identified articles revealed that the majority employed deep learning models are for classification, detection, and semantic segmentation. The most commonly used algorithms are Con-volutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Multi-Layer Perceptrons (MLPs), Random Forest, and Support Vector Machines. In addition, in the identified articles, it was observed that these algorithms were applied to both waveform data and image data. © 2024 ieee.

It gathers high-quality data that is then used for precise and intricate analysis. Therefore, through the process of data collection, one can formulate answers to relevant questions, enhance decision-making, and evaluate results. On the other hand, due to the vast amount of data, this process becomes increasingly complicated, necessitating the use of advanced tools and modern methods. In this context, we introduce a new data collection process based on agent software. Specifically, our focus is on self-adaptive agent. In our research, we are interested in collecting data in the field of transportation. Thus, this paper presents a case study illustrating the simulation-based design of a road traffic data collection self-adaptive agent. © 2024 ieee.
