The growing influence of Information Technologies in the manufacturing domain has led to the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0). Cyber-Physical Production System (CPPS) is one of the fundamental concepts of Industry 4.0 that aims to develop an intelligent manufacturing environment by leveraging concepts like the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, virtualization, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, the challenges originating from the technological heterogeneity in the manufacturing domain remain primary obstacles towards realising a fully automated CPPS. Among them, semantic heterogeneity in manufacturing information is the most crucial which can be attributed to technology and vendor-specific information modelling mechanisms. A CPPS requires seamless machine-to-machine communication which could be hindered due to the non-interoperability among machine data on a semantic level. Therefore, the primary focus of this thesis work is to understand the semantic interoperability challenges of CPPS and propose solutions to address those challenges. The proposed solution revolves around the development of semantic domain models using the modelling philosophies of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

Procurement, licensing, and regulatory compliance are made simpler by digitalizing and safely storing papers and data on the blockchain. Digitization of documents and blockchain smart contracts streamline bureaucratic procedures, automating procurement, licensing, and regulatory compliance, reducing paperwork and processing time. This lessens the amount of paperwork, manual mistakes, and service delivery. Government networks are in danger from cyber-attacks and data breaches. The cryptography and decentralization of blockchain improve government cyber security. The blockchain protects citizen data. Blockchain-based systems improve the sharing of government information. Citizen Service is made more accessible as a result. Blockchain securely distributes medical records amongst doctors, cutting down on redundant testing, improving patient care, and speeding up administration. Blockchain can help with resource distribution and allocation in government. Monitoring and tracking public money ensure resource distribution while reducing corruption. intelligent contracts built on blockchains enforce financial standards. Transparent and immutable records confidence and the maintenance of citizen identification are made secure and decentralized via blockchain. Blockchain technology offers governments the potential for enhanced services, transparency, and administrative efficiency across sectors like property management, citizen services, and financial accountability. Thanks to blockchain's cryptographic features, people can maintain their identification information and grant access to governmental entities and service providers. para>To salve the issue of local distortion and feature distortion caused by vibration during the data acquisition process of 3D pavement detection vehicles, this research proposed a Bayesian optimization-based LightGBM method for compensating for vibration in pavement depth data. Firstly, the least squares method is used to remove trend of the acceleration data and interpolate missing values. Then, the pavement depth data and acceleration signals are matched using timestamps to obtain the dataset. Finally, the vibration compensation for pavement depth data is achieved through Bayesian optimization-based LightGBM. By comparing Bayesian optimization, genetic algorithm, and grid search parameter optimization methods, the results demonstrate the superiority of the Bayesian optimization-based LightGBM, with an R2Score reaching 0.84. Additionally, the proposed method is validated with real- scene pavement depth data, further demonstrating its feasibility, effectiveness, and generalizability. © 2023 ieee.

To protect personal patient information and comply with regulations, data security is a necessary aspect of the healthcare business. systems in the healthcare business that are based on the block chain are beneficial to both medical professionals and patients. The use of block chain technology in the healthcare industry as a useful tool for decentralizing patient health information, monitoring pharmaceutical goods, and increasing payment options is swiftly gaining support. Because patient data is written on paper and stored in filing cabinets, it is simple to protect and secure it. However, all data is now saved digitally, such as patient records, which are now stored on computers, servers, and storage devices. Poor wireless network security, data breaches, legacy system use, malware, viruses, and other hostile attacks are all risk considerations in health care. When compared to other businesses, one of the key reasons to safeguard health care data is that healthcare companies gather and keep extremely detailed patient records, including patient names, dates of birth, addresses, and social security numbers. This paper aims to discuss the issues and solutions to achieving digital healthcare using blockchain technology. © 2023 ieee.

This study uses machine learning models as potent analytical tools to look into the issue of inventory cost and profit prediction in the automobile industry. Throughout a ten-year dataset from 2012 to 2023, the study carefully analyses several cost components and profit data, illuminating the complex relationships between these elements. To provide insights into inventory dynamics, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), k-nearest Neighbours (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM) models are rigorously trained and tested. An impressive feat is achieved by the CNN model, which achieves a phenomenal accuracy of 98.7%, followed by KNN at 96.7% and SVM at 93.4%. Additional proof of the models' propensity to make accurate predictions comes from their precision, recall, F1 score, and confusion matrices. The research provides data-driven insights that players in the dynamic vehicle industry can use to improve inventory management procedures and financial results. This work serves as an example of how machine learning may fundamentally alter how people make decisions in this difficult domain. © 2024 ieee.

This research study explains the key factors of how Natural Language Processing and Collocations are used to improve the Health industrial sector by detecting medical terms and words to enhance healthcare industrial applications. Collocations are types of words that are seen very commonly appear together in a text corpus, each of them contributes to relationships between various medical terms for example a disease name or even a symptom occurrence, natural language processing techniques involve creating tokens, removing stopwords, tagging various types of speeches, lemmatizing words, or even stemming for an instance. The model employs a statistical method such as Pointwise Mutual Information or Chi-square to identify meaningful pairs of words in the medical context. Various metrics such as precision, recall, and F1 scores gave a good insight of the model performance to predict the terms in the medical text. The model would capture all expected complex medical terms and help gain proper insights from the medical context by especially picking out the collocations. The model is known for its relevance making it a powerful tool for healthcare units and advancing healthcare research. © 2024 ieee.

This paper proposes a novel multimodal chatbot for continuous text and vision processing to overcome the constraints of current text-only based interacting agents. While early systems like ELIZA (1966) and PARRY (1972) introduced basic conversational abilities, modern chatbots remain largely text based. To address this difficulty, we introduce "Salvatore" chatbot comprised of a uniquely designed CNN system to quickly analyze the text and images. For text context, we employ the Lemmatization and Tokenization methods, and in the case of images, Gaussian fluctuation, convolutions, binarization theorems, Canny edge detection, gradients, resizing dimensions, and pixels area average algorithms. All the functions tested on the model returned the expected results with 85% accuracy and 80% precision in case of object identification tasks. It operated without considerable obstacles, no lag time as well as sign of regression is observed across various versions. Further, fine-tuning builds the interactive ability continuously, and as such, this chatbot provides reliable interfaces for multi-modal dialogues. © 2024 ieee.

In this research work, a novel Virtual Instrument (VI) for process control, monitoring, and data acquisition was created using Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) software, distinguishing traditional hardware instrumentation from Virtual Instruments. A High-Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering (HiPIMS) Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) system has been developed to deposit coatings on a variety of substrates by controlling the process and related subsystems via graphical programming in the LabVIEW environment. It automates the thin film deposition process by sequentially controlling the integrated subsystems. The program also regulates the critical thin film deposition process parameters, including deposition pressure, substrate temperature, substrate rotation, and substrate bias. An upstream pressure control and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) function to achieve the desired pressure. The results showed accurate pressure control (± 0.0005 mbar) within an operating range of 5×10-3 - 5×10-2 mbar. Furthermore, the deposited thin films demonstrated good repeatability and reliability. The presented results will be valuable in developing indigenous custom-made vacuum or PVD systems. © 2024 ieee.
