Each module must contain fundamental features and capabilities, such as fuzzy machine learning and data mining methods. A new method of constructing high-precision resistor voltage dividers without the use of any standard equipment is considered. The use of the method for creating an input transducer for signal conditioning with the transfer coefficients of 0,1; 1; 10 for dataacquisition blocks is described. For the metrological service of this transducer for signal conditioning the dataacquisition block itself is sufficient. It is proven, the multiplicative error of this transducer for signal conditioning will not exceed double random error of the dataacquisition unit.

Mobility management is crucial for urban planning, and accurate road condition information is necessary for safe and efficient transportation. In the context of this study, mobility refers to the quality of the road and the level of service provided to road users. To this end and to advance the state-of-the-art in improving mobility management strategies, we propose a new capability for our ongoing work on the Decentralized Road Traffic Monitoring (DRTM) system: road conditions assessment, aimed at enhancing mobility management for Abu Dhabi city. Our DRTM system uses smartphone cameras, Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) on vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) mode, and federated learning to extract and classify road features, such as potholes, cracks, and accidents, impacting overall mobility. The system comprises a smartphone app and a decentralized network of participants, providing real-time insights about road conditions. Our experimental results demonstrate the system's effectiveness in providing precise and up-to-date information about road conditions, with increased scalability and efficiency compared to centralized methods. By utilizing federated learning, the system ensures data security and privacy.

An intelligent air quality monitoring system, based on the versatile and widely-used Arduino Uno microcontroller, has been designed and developed as the foundational platform. The system was subjected to testing procedures to verify its compliance with the specified requirements. Furthermore, experiments were carried out in contrasting areas of a house to create datasets for various air quality indicators. The findings of this research demonstrate the potential of the developed system in accurately monitoring and evaluating indoor air quality in real-time. The improvement of indoor air quality can reduce the spread of common airborne viruses and pollutants, which can have adverse effects on respiratory health.

A reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) is a prospective wireless technology that enhances wireless channel quality. An RIS is often equipped with passive array of elements and provides cost and power-efficient solutions for coverage extension of wireless communication systems. Without any radio frequency (RF) chains or computing resources, however, the RIS requires control information to be sent to it from an external unit, e.g., a base station (BS). The control information can be delivered by wired or wireless channels, and the BS must be aware of the RIS and the RIS-related channel conditions in order to effectively configure its behavior. Recent works have introduced hybrid RIS structures possessing a few active elements that can sense and digitally process received data. Here, we propose the operation of an entirely autonomous RIS that operates without a control link between the RIS and BS. Using a few sensing elements, the autonomous RIS employs a deep Q network (DQN) based on reinforcement learning in order to enhance the sum rate of the network. Our results illustrate the potential of deploying autonomous RISs in wireless networks with essentially no network overhead.
