This research aims to develop a phishing detection model using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm and compare its performance with Decision Tree (DT). With phishing threats on the rise, effective detection is critical to protecting user data. In this research, a dataset consisting of 10,000 URLs of phishing and legitimate sites was used. After data pre-processing including cleaning, normalization, and feature extraction, the KNN and DT models were trained and tested. The research results show that the KNN model achieves an accuracy of 95%, while the DT achieves an accuracy of 93%. KNN shows superiority in accuracy and consistency, while DT provides better interpretation through decision tree visualization. This research provides insight into the effectiveness of each method and identifies the most relevant features in the classification process. ©2024 ieee.

The K Nearest Neighbor (KNN) is a widely-used classification algorithm recognized for its simplicity and applicability across diverse domains in classification tasks. Despite its straightforward nature, KNN encounters a notable challenge regarding computational costs per classification instance. This paper introduces an algorithm to address this challenge by incorporating entropy-based clustering into the KNN algorithm. Unlike traditional distance-based clustering methods, the proposed algorithm involves partitioning data into disjoint clusters and minimizing entropy within the neighbors. Representative points are then extracted from these clusters to compute nearest neighbors. Experimental resnlts on various UCI datasets reveal a significant reduction in computational costs achieved by utilizing a smaller set of representative samples to represent data instances. Furthermore, the statistical t-test analysis of the accuracy results indicates that KNN performs similarly when utilizing entropy-based representatives. © 2024 ieee.

This project explores the implementation of ROS for robot navigation in an indoor environment with narrow pathways typically found in a grocery shop or library. The study discusses the design of the integration of different components including hardware such as sensors and actuators, and algorithms in ROS. The system uses LiDAR to first map the real-world environment to determine the static components of the environment. The purpose of the project is to determine the optimal system integration to achieve obstacle detection and avoidance specifically on dynamic obstacles in environments with narrow pathways. The results show 100% collision-free navigation either through avoiding obstacles or re-routing to an obstacle-free course. © 2024 ieee.

Science, technology, and innovation (STI) play an irreplaceable and critical role in promoting economic prosperity, social progress, and sustained competitiveness of enterprises. They are essential means to achieve sustainable development. The extent to which enterprises create an inclusive and supportive environment for disadvantaged groups is closely linked to their understanding of inclusive management strategies for enhancing STI performance. Based on resource-based theory and dynamic capability theory, this study constructs and validates the mechanism influencing the degree of firms' inclusion of disadvantaged groups and STI performance, and examines the mediating role of social responsibility. Through a combination of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, this study balances quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide specific guidance for business managers. This guidance aims to help them effectively implement inclusive management strategies during digital transformation and utilize digital intelligence technology to enhance their enterprises' innovation capability and competitiveness. © 2024 ieee.

The advancement of computer technology has led to the adoption of new management models by schools, improving management efficiency, and a shift from digital to smart campus construction. A crucial phase in the creation of campus information is the digital campus. There have been several successes in the creation of India smart campuses. India education system has benefited considerably from the contributions of numerous scientists, technologists, educators, and pertinent national policies. As a result, the country's educational system now uses far more information technology. The creation of new smart campuses is crucial to India educational landscape as we approach the era of big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. This article first explains cloud computing and related technologies, then examines the NEC smart campus service platform. Using this information as a foundation, it develops a cloud computing-based smart campus service platform that will aid in the growth of smart campuses in India.

Visual impairment is characterized by the loss of vision, encompassing both complete blindness and partial vision loss. Studies reveal a notable prevalence of visual impairment among school-aged children. The significance of colors in acquiring and discerning visual information is crucial, aiding children in effectively perceiving and comprehending their surroundings. This study presents an Internet of Things (IoT) system designed for teaching colors to visually impaired children. The system achieved an accuracy rate surpassing 77.8%, and it is operated effectively regardless of surrounding lighting conditions. Given that the target users of the system are visually impaired children, this research was conducted in close alignment with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles. © 2024 ieee.

The demand of AI is increasing day by day in the medical field. Machine Learning (ML) is subset of AI. ML has become popular tool and widely used to detect several medical diseases at higher accuracy. Promising accuracy of ML algorithms depend on training of digital images like CT, MRI, X-rays etc. In this paper, CNN model is proposed to classify brain tumour into malignant and non-malignant class and comparative study using diverse ML algorithm is conducted and their accuracy is compared. This paper explores role of ML in clinical diagnosis, accurate prediction and clinical analysis regarding brain tumour disease based on various brain tumour dataset like figshare, brats, Kaggle. Proposed CNN model has achieved 98% promising accuracy. © 2024 ieee.

Data is everywhere, and it is a part of every person's life. Data analysis is no longer restricted to companies, but independent professionals and people with interests in certain subjects also seek to extract information from them. This research study intends to identify and compare the criteria for choosing the resource for data analysis between personal devices or cloud resources in order to allow an informed decision based on individual choices and needs. Using unsupervised analysis algorithms, the open data from high schools in Brazil are used for testing, this study has generated some scenarios that were executed in different environments. The comparison of the results obtained from these test scenarios provides the necessary elements for the proposed analysis and the identification of best use for each scenario. © 2024 ieee.

Urbanization over the next decade will present many complex challenges to cities. Transportation plays an important role in a city's ability to address urbanization and create resilient, sustainable, inclusive, and safer cities for all. However, challenges introduced by urbanization will decrease the effectiveness of current transportation methodologies. By utilizing innovations in sensing, computing, and communication along with machine learning and real-time data, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) can advance transportation efficiency and effectiveness. Integrating these technologies into intelligent transportation systems can potentially reduce congestion, pollution, energy consumption, and traffic incidents. This integration is at the forefront of academic and industry research. Although testbeds have been developed for the development, testing, and validation of ITS solutions, existing testbeds focus on narrow aspects of the ITS domain and are unable to support large-scale experimentation and integrations. Additionally, access to resources and data is limited and not remotely accessible to potential researchers. In this paper, we propose a smart city and ITS Testbed-As-A-Service. The testbed is located in downtown Chattanooga, TN, and offers a unified platform for a wide range of ITS applications including connected and autonomous vehicles, wireless communication, cooperative transportation, internet-of-things (IoT), and edge-based AI. © 2024 ieee.

Cognitive computing has been posturing itself as the disruptive innovation that advances the supply chain management in e-commerce. This research aims at identifying how cognitive computing system can be incorporated in the supply chain in various areas including demand forecast, inventory replenishment, and customer relations. Through the use of analytical capabilities, artificial intelligence (machine learning), and natural language processing, cognitive computing improves decision-making accuracy, eradicates redundancies, and dynamics timely improvements based on market trends. The study illustrates that cognitive computing not only leads to an enhanced structure of e-commerce supply chains but are also more responsive and flexible, thus leading to effective customer satisfaction and company advantage. © 2024 ieee.
