The main ideal is to extract all the necessary motions or Doppler parameters of the aircraft by evaluating the azimuth spectra of the radar raw data. Increasing demand for automatic large area surveillance has made methods estimating direction of arrival (DOA), especially acoustic methods, an interesting topic. In these systems false alarms and faults are a disturbing factor. This paper presents a reliability criterion and a new method to diminish these errors. In very low signal-to-noise ratio conditions there are seldom any means to improve the performance of a DOA estimator. In these cases it is important to have some information about the estimation reliability. Our focus is on wideband signals propagating as planar waves in three dimensional space. If the estimation method makes no assumptions on the signal propagation speed, it is possible to compute a reliability measure for obtained estimates. With this reliability measure we are able to decide whether the data produced by a time delay based DOA estimation system is usable or not. Indeed, with this criterion an estimation system can state its own reliability.

Reconstructive signalprocessing algorithms encompass a broad spectrum of computational methods. Fortunately, most of the methods fall into the classes of the matrix algebraic calculations, convolution, or transform type algorithms. These algorithms possess common properties such as regularity, locality and recursiveness. Considering such general class of reconstructive signalprocessing (SP) techniques, in this paper we propose a new Hardware/Software (HW/SW) co-design paradigm for the implementation of reconstructive SP algorithms via efficient systolic arrays integrated as digital SP coprocessors units. In particular, the selected matrix-matrix and matrix-vector multiplication algorithms are implemented in a systolic computing fashion that meets the real time SP system requirements when employing the developed Hardware/Software Co-Design method oriented at the use of a Xilinx Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) XC4VSX35-10ff668. Soccer robot games are rapidly becoming a major research tool in field of AI, machine vision and motion control. The dynamism of the environment in the size of state space makes such a design challenging. In this paper we develop optimal reactive strategies for the game using groundtruth data from experts, with potential fields as base of the strategies. Experiment shows that the strategy has good active characteristics and can satisfy the game demand.
