Operational efficiency is one of the most important factors affecting customer satisfaction directly in e-commerce. Still, constant addressing of timely delivery, path simplification, and reduction of delays remains challenging problems. Deep Random Forest (DRF) is a new approach presented in this work to examine and forecast significant logistics metrics including delivery times and satisfaction scores. Development of this approach targeted to solve these issues. The model makes use of e-commerce past performance including order volumes, customer comments, and delivery times. Findings: The suggested approach achieves 10% increase in user satisfaction, 12% cost reduction, and 15% faster delivery times than baseline methods. This is accomplished by means of DRF, applied to examine trends and carry out predictive modifications. Results and Methodology: These results outperform those of the benchmarks established by Gradient Boosting and XGBoost, which displayed respective rises in satisfaction of 9% and 8%. Apart from improving the quality of service, the use of DRF not only strengthened user loyalty but also contributed to improve the transportation efficiency. This approach exposes the transforming opportunities of artificial intelligence in logistics management for e-commerce systems. This approach guarantees operations with a customer-centric concentration benefiting from measurable advantages. © 2025 ieee.

We developed a human-robot collaborative system in the form of a hybrid cell where a human and a robot could collaborate to perform manipulation tasks for assembly operations in a flexible manufacturing setup. We conducted an experiment where 20 human subjects separately performed the assembly task in collaboration with the robot. We observed the collaborative assembly task, reviewed related state-of-the-art research results, interviewed the subjects, relevant researchers and industry personnel and thus derived a comprehensive set of assessment and benchmark metrics and methods for the collaborative manipulation task. The metrics included the core requirements of the task expressed as the key performance indicators (KPI) and the effectiveness of interactions between the human and the robot for the task. We also discussed the strengths and limitations of the proposed assessment and benchmark metrics and methods. The proposed benchmark metrics and methods can help assess and benchmark the overall performance and interactional effectiveness of human-robot collaborative manipulation tasks and systems for various applications such as industrial manufacturing, logistics and transport, military, construction, disaster operations, etc.

international freight transport is a growing market and a crucial component of the global economy, enabling the seamless flow of goods across regions and supporting global trade. However, the industry faces significant challenges, particularly in road transport orchestration, due to the increasing complexity of operations and the demand for real-time decision-making. This study sketched the algorithmic and programming framework to address these challenges by presenting an optimized database architecture designed to improve decision support systems for freight transport. The proposed system architecture may leverage the flexibility and scalability of NoSQL databases to manage large, semi-structured datasets in the future, while REST APIs enable seamless integration and real-time data manipulation. To enhance usability and transparency, the system incorporates advanced data visualization tools, allowing stakeholders to derive actionable insights and improve operational efficiency. By focusing on areas such as real-time tracking, sustainability, and process optimization, this work not only addresses current operational needs but also provides a robust foundation for future developments, including advanced analytics and mobile application integration. This contribution supports the logistics industry's shift toward more adaptive, efficient, and sustainable transport solutions.

In order to improve the efficiency of automated warehouse robots in picking and packaging operations and enhance the control precision of their motion execution, this study incorporated machine learning algorithms into the design of the control system of automated warehouse robots. Mechanical learning and inductive learning were used to design machine learning methods applicable to these robots. Meanwhile, the learning process was optimized with the help of PID feedback adjustment, thus constructing an efficient execution system for the picking and packaging operations of automated warehouse robots. Taking the quantity of goods picked and packaged within the same period of time as the task indicator for the operations, simulation was carried out on the operation situations of robots adopting different machine learning methods. The results show that by using the combination of mechanical and inductive learning methods and the PID feedback adjustment approach, automated warehouse robots can handle more goods within the same period of time, significantly improving their motion execution efficiency in picking and packaging operations and providing strong support for the efficient operation of automated warehouses.

Buyers' expectations regarding customer service have increased dramatically in recent years. Request for tailored or customized service often represent standard business practice today Empirical research was undertaken to examine: (1) if there are different types of logistics service providers in China, and (2) whether a proposed linkage between logistics abilities and logistics service quality could be documented in this paper. The results show that there are three discernable types of logistics service providers, according to the logistics capacities and logistics capabilities displayed by each type. Further, strong support was found for a linkage between the logistics capabilities and the service quality, weak support was found for a linkage between the logistics capacities and the service quality by using the structural equation model.

With the recent shift from conventional industrial robots to more collaborative Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) robots 1 1 In this paper, the term ‘HRI robot’ is used to underscore the significance of the interaction between robots and humans, rather than focusing on the type of robot involved (e.g., cobot, social robot) or the nature of the interaction (e.g., instruction-based, social interaction-based), when we refer to HRI robots we refer to any type of robot a person/s may interact or engage directly with during a task. within industries such as the agriculture sector, it has become essential to understand the challenges associated with the adoption of these robots to ensure a smooth integration with minimal resistance. As with all new technologies, there is often push-back when changing approaches and initiating new pathways within company operations, which can cause hesitation and even halt the adoption process. This paper draws from interviews with agricultural companies that have previously attempted to implement robots requiring direct human interaction, focusing on individuals within those companies who had decision-making capabilities during the implementation process. From these interviews, a set of action principles has been developed based on transferable knowledge found within the participating companies. The main results of this user study highlight that previous implementation attempts, whether positive or negative, influence future adoption. The study also identifies the multitude of barriers surrounding the agricultural sector's adoption of these technologies and suggests potential actions for companies to take to minimize the issues associated with implementing HRI robots. By identifying common successes and failures and contextualizing them for other companies to follow, this study aims to utilize lessons learned from past implementation attempts to shorten the learning curve and reduce hesitation in adopting HRI robots within the agricultural sec

Producer services, which are used as intermediate inputs for the production of other goods or services, have important economic functions and implications. However, it is difficult to identify producer services from the already existing service sector classification. So, in order to overcome the analytical obstacles, and according to the intrinsic sense of producer services, but not from the perspective of specific service sectors, this paper employs the input-output method to conduct an empirical study of the growth and structural changes of China's producer services as well as their influences on China's economy and industries. Some conclusions and policy implications are drawn.
