The traditional method for the extraction of phase calibration (PCAL) signal is inefficient when the number of PCAL tone is large. According to the special spectrum of the PCAL signal, an efficient method based on DFT is proposed for the multi-tones extraction. All the phases of the multi PCAL tones can be obtained in once DFT. The computation amount of the new method doesn't increase with the number of PCAL tones. Compared with the traditional correlation method, the new method is superior when the tone' number is larger than seven. Field experiment is conducted to verify the new method.

By using steered adaptive techniques, this paper proposes a wideband source signal direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation method based on one stretched acoustic vector sensor, which provides an angular super-resolution estimation of uncorrelated polarized sources simultaneously. The antenna beam is scanned over the direction of interest, and the adaptive estimator will reach its steady state such as forming peaks in the signal DOAs. Considering the Hankel tensor special structure problem, this article discusses an algorithm that can compute the decomposition expression and the rank of the Hankel tensor. For a given n-dimensional Hankel tensor with order in, the Vandermonde rank of Hankel tensor is calculated by iterative method. Then the generating polynomials are constructed, and the decomposition can he determined by solving the generating polynomials, which satisfy a specific condition. The efficiency and accuracy of proposed method can be demonstrated through numerical examples.

The performance of space-time adaptive processing (STAP) will suffer severe degradation when the training data is contaminated by certain part of potential desired signal component, especially in the condition of the power of the targetlike signal spills over the range gate due to the effect of the pulse-compression. To overcome this problem, a novel target-like signal reconstruction method depending on the estimation of the amplitude and phase of the target-like signal from the receiving signal containing clutter and noise components is proposed. Consequently a set of purer signals is achieved as the training samples to estimate the clutter and noise covariance matrix of the cell under test (CUT) and the terrible target processing output of the conventional algorithm is modified, leading to a better performance of STAP. Theoretical analysis and simulation results proved the effectiveness of our suggested method.

Dopplershift has important influence on the performance of underwater acoustic communication system. When constructing a received signal, it is usually set that the Doppler shift is a fixed value, which inevitably causes the distortion of the simulation signal. The VirTEX algorithm considers the difference of Doppler shifts of different paths from the ray theory analysis. However, this method cannot guarantee data continuity and cannot be applied to real-time simulation system. This paper proposes a dynamic channel received signal modeling method based on VirTEX algorithm. It not only considers the Doppler variability of different paths, but also considers the problem of data continuity in real-time systems. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method.

The predominant technique to improve the receiver's sensitivity is extending integration time coherently. However, data modulation limits the integration time, which is up to data bit period. Maximum likelihood(ML) estimation method is a common way to estimate the data bits. But the ML algorithm is sensitive to Doppler error and has heavy computation load, which depend on the decoding block length. In this paper, a differential detection method is proposed for data bit decoding. Differential decoding has merit of low computation complexity and fitting for long integration time. The simulation results show the robustness to Doppler error of differential decoding algorithm.
