Impedance Shaping Method for system-Level Stabilization of Droop-Controlled DC Microgrids

DC microgrids (MGs) based on distributed energy resources (DERs) are prone to stability issues due to the negative impedance characteristics of some interface converters. Large-scale MGs need to be compatible with various operation modes and integrate the DERs with different structures, thereby increasing the difficulty of stabilization design. To address this problem, this paper proposes a novel impedance shaping method to achieve system-level stabilization by designing feedback laws for the droop-controlled sources. An impedance shaping criterion is first proposed for the decoupling design of multiple droop-controlled sources. Compared with existing impedance shaping methods, the proposed criterion can be more flexibly applied to a large-scale DC MG. An efficient algorithm is further developed to design the primary droop control by combining the proposed criterion and linear matrix inequalities. The proposed method features a simpler control architecture and can be directly applied to the DERs with different interface converters. Case study based on experiment and benchmark system shows that the DC MG designed by the proposed method has a high stability margin and good transient performance. © 1986-2012 ieee.

A network is a distributed dynamic multi-hop MANET (mobile ad-hoc network). It's critical to create a successful ad-hoc network routing system in order to address the issue with MANET-based WSN (Wireless Sensor Network). In this proposal, various WSN communication routing algorithms are analyzed. There is also a brief description of significant routing and security issues. This research focuses on taxonomies associated with adhoc routing approaches and assesses the merits of suggested routing protocols for setting up sensor nodes and sending sensor signals. © 2025 ieee.

Capacitive displacement detection technology is widely employed in the aviation and aerospace industries to monitor the operational status of crucial components in various aircraft systems. The actuator shaft displacement detection system operates on the principle of capacitance. The system is susceptible to temperature-induced variations in the dielectric constant and spacing between capacitor plates, leading to significant zero and amplitude drift in the system's input response, thereby impacting the detection stability and accuracy. To address this issue, Simulink is utilized for mathematical modeling and simulation of displacement detection systems along with temperature effects, and a real-time temperature compensation method based on a microcontroller is developed. Furthermore, this study conducted experiments based on the Simulink simulation, utilizing a numerical control adjustment compensation method within a constant temperature chamber. The purpose of these experiments was to investigate the compensation of static zero signal and dynamic signal variations across a range of temperatures. The experimental tests demonstrate a 91.3% reduction in zero drift output error and an 87.1% reduction in amplitude drift output error within the temperature range of -20 to 80℃, thereby ensuring the system's output stability across varying temperatures. © 2025 SPIE.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) became part of our daily life. Due to the increased capability of computation power, AI significantly impacts human life and changing the social systems as well. On one side AI making our life easier but at the same time we are facing challenges like mental health issues. Lot of people are facing anxiety, insecurity and depression. Music is one of the remedy for improving mental health. In this paper, we focus on the music recommendation system for mental health improvement. The input imbalanced data is balanced to reduce its imbalance ratio. The output dataset is used to train the classification models including Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Trees, logistic regression, XGBOOST and ADABOOST. The comparative results are presented based on the experimentation. Results shows that XGBOOST outperforms other classification models with an accuracy of 98.1%. © 2025 ieee.

Microgrids have become a popular technology in recent years due to their environmental compatibility. Microgrids can be operated in two modes: grid-connected and islanded. Due to the integration of this technology with distribution networks, ensuring the correct operation of microgrids is very important. The main challenge in the power grid is the balance between generation and consumption, which must always be under control. In the case of large-scale disturbances in the microgrid, the stability of the system is at risk and if not controlled, it can lead to collapse or even extended blackouts. Load shedding in the microgrid is performed with the aim of curtailing lower priority loads so that the balance between generation and demand is equalized and the stability of the system is maintained and restored. The main objective of this paper is to simultaneously use two important parameters, namely frequency and voltage, to evaluate the state of the network affected by islanding and overload. Using this method, it is possible to simultaneously restore the frequency and voltage in the islanded microgrid within the allowable range. The performance and effectiveness of this method have been simulated and investigated in a 13-bus ieee network. © 2025 ieee.

In wireless communication, fading caused by multipath interference is the dominant factor reduces the performance of the system. In this letter, the performance analysis of Chirp-BOK modulation in Rayleigh channel and is carried out and the bit error rate (BER) function is derived and the multipath interference that influence on coherent demodulation performance and signal energy are analyzed. The simulation result demonstrates the derivation is validity. © 2025 SPIE.

Rotary sprinklers, widely used for their versatility and low cost, are prone to damage, leading to irrigation issues. This paper focuses on the working status of sprinklers and proposes a method to monitor overall irrigation quality using machine vision. By employing cameras and flow sensors, real-time monitoring of the length and rotation angle of the water column is achieved. This system provides timely feedback on sprinkler anomalies, allowing for prompt maintenance and replacement, ensuring proper irrigation and preventing water waste. © 2025 SPIE.

system security is becoming an increasingly essential feature of modern computing systems, particularly programmable hardware such as Field Programmable Gate arrays (FPGA), employed in various applications such as autonomous systems and digital networks. However, safeguarding FPGA-based devices against IP theft and reverse engineering is difficult and a big concern for the semiconductor and defense industries. Previously, various obfuscation approaches such as gate level obfuscation, camouflaging, and strong puff were employed to make a distinct key for every chip. These designs, however, are more area-intensive, consume more power, and are easier to crack the key. In this research, we propose a novel obfuscation idea that integrates a reconfigurable hardware obfuscation block into the original circuit with an additional N-stage Delay circuit to enhance overall system security and resistance to threats. The present idea relates to the increase in the security of the system against the piracy, overbuilding and from the cloning and camouflaging of the chip. The proposed technique does not have any bulky circuit, and it is easily realizable and just requires some additional modules that can easily reconfigured with a very smaller area and power overhead thereby offering performance benefits and increasing the time of sat attack iteration, making the locking system more complex and difficult to decode. © 2025 ieee.

This manuscript presents a new technique to improve the performance of adaptive filters in handling the non-Gaussian or impulsive noise environment. The conduct of the adaptive filter decays in the presence of impulsive noise or outliers. To improve the efficiency of the filtering technique, this work presents a robust exponential hyperbolic tangent Geman McClure function for nonlinear system identification. The algorithm utilizes the saturation properties of the hyperbolic tangent function to improve the performance under impulsive noise. The simulation results clearly illustrate the potency of the suggested technique. © 2025 ieee.
