Electric transporters are capable of realizing comfortable cargo transportation by sensing the pushing force applied by the operator and amplifying it through the driving wheels, greatly reducing workload on tasks such as in fruit harvesting in narrow environments or transportation of supplies during environmental disasters, where regular vehicles are not able to access. However, on conditions such as sandy or muddy roads the driving wheels slip, causing the operator to momentarily lose control of the transporter. In this research, we propose a power-assist control method with integrated slip supression through slip acceleration control, which is easily achieved by wheel and vehicle body acceleration measurements. Through experimental verification we confirmed that our proposed method greatly improve assisting performance even in slippery conditions.

This paper designs and evaluates a touch sensor based on a MOSFET that detects electric fields generated between mechanisms in industrial automation systems and human skin. The sensor aims to enhance safety in industrial operations. When the sensor installed on an automated mechanism comes into contact with human skin, it detects the electric field and electrostatic discharge. The processor immediately halts the automation or robotic system to ensure worker safety. The best test results indicate that the sensor operates with a response time of 3 milliseconds.

This paper presents a novel automated system that leverages a Raspberry Pi to operate a 24 GHz single-channel continuous wave (CW) radar for through-the-wall concurrent vital sign monitoring of two subjects. The system autonomously performs independent component analysis using the joint approximation diagonalization of eigenmatrices (ICA-JADE) to separate both individuals' breathing rates (BR). It applies the maximal overlap discrete wavelet transform (MODWT) after ICA-JADE to extract heart rates (HR). By integrating the radar system and ICA-JADE into an embedded platform, the system operates without requiring manual intervention. The automation framework enables real-time processing, enhancing the system's practical deployment in real-world applications. The results demonstrate high accuracy in isolating BR and HR using ICA-JADE, as benchmarked against conventional chest belts and ECG measurements. This fully automated approach shows significant potential for applications such as search and rescue operations, security surveillance, and remote healthcare monitoring through barriers.

In order to predict the future structure of electricity supply and energy storage consumption, this study analyzes the correlation between China's electricity supply and energy storage consumption based on 30 factors such as economy, geography and policy. The ARIMA model was established. After verifying the stability and white noise of the model, the Auto-ARIMA function was used to find the optimal parameter as ARIMA (0, 1, 1). According to the forecast, China's electricity supply is growing linearly and is expected to reach 30,268.21 billion kWh by 2060. Then, the ARIMA (1, 2, 0) model is used to predict the proportion of photovoltaic power generation in China in 2060, and it is predicted that by 2060, China's non-fossil energy will account for 90.9%, more than 80%. The results show that by 2060, China will be able to replace coal-fired power generation with photovoltaic power generation. The predicted value of the model is basically consistent with the actual value, and the fit of the model is good.

With the increasing complexity of dispatch automatic generation control (AGC) systems, evaluating the software complexity has become essential for optimizing performance and improving reliability. This paper investigates the complexity evaluation of AGC software by analyzing its operational and functional characteristics. A complexity evaluation model is constructed from the perspectives of code structure and software structure. The model introduces a structural complexity indicator based on functional network density and evaluates corresponding metrics using the grey relational analysis (GRA) comprehensive evaluation method. Case studies are conducted to verify the feasibility and applicability of the proposed method. The results demonstrate that this model and evaluation method can provide valuable support for improving software quality, optimizing software testing strategies, and guiding the development of more efficient AGC systems.

In the current paper, optimal power flow (OPF) issue has been addressed using Multi-trial vector based monkey king evolution (MMKE). The test system is standard ieee 57 bus network where renewable energy sources (RESs) like wind power (WP), solar photovoltaic power ( PV) and plugin electric vehicle (PEV) are being incorporated with traditional units. Objective of the study includes minimization of overall generation cost and emission. To deal with stochastic RESs, appropriate probability density functions (PDF) are utilized. This study presents a structured framework for a scalable multi-camera tracking system based on ROS2, focusing on architectural design rather than experimental validation. The proposed system is designed to easily integrate different cameras and objects by utilizing the modular structure of ROS2 and can maintain reliable tracking performance even in complex environments. In particular, it adopts a global coordinate system transformation and an identity matching method based on the Hungarian algorithm to effectively maintain the consistency of identities between objects even in the presence of overlapping fields of view (FoV) and an increasing number of objects. Based on the Markov decision algorithm, this paper proposes an efficient optimization scheme for intelligent ship energy management system. The system realizes the rational use of energy and the improvement of ship operation efficiency through real-time monitoring and dynamic allocation of various types of ship energy. This paper first constructs a mathematical model of intelligent ship energy management, and uses the Markov decision algorithm for optimization design to ensure the adaptability and efficiency of the system under different operating conditions. Secondly, this paper simulates the model to verify the robustness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm under complex sea conditions. The simulation results show that the optimized system has significant performance in reducing energy consumption, saving about 12.5% of energy consumption compared with traditional methods, and improving the ship operation efficiency by 9.3%. Through the precise analysis of simulation data, the application value of the algorithm in intelligent ship energy management is proved. The research results of this paper provide new technical support for energy saving of intelligent ships, and provide a theoretical basis and application reference for the optimization design of future intelligent ship systems.

This paper considers energy-efficient power assist system for pedaling motions, especially for electric bicycles. Due to the constraints of human musculoskeletal systems, the pedaling motion of bicycles is periodic. Therefore, the velocity of bicycles involve pulsation. In order to improve the energy efficiency of such motion, the suppression of the pulsation is effective. In addition, the variation of power train models of bicycle cannot be ignore when considering assist system to suppress the velocity pulsation. To address this model variation, we propose a SAC (simple adaptive control)-based power assist system. We demonstrate the proposed assist system through an experiment using an electric bicycle.
