In this paper, based on the dimethyl ether plant process and production process control system, the optimal design of DME control system is studied and the simulation system are established. First of all, the production equipment is regarded as the research object, and through the device operation requirements and device characteristics of structural analysis, and combined with the DCS control system of special requirements, the DME device DCS control system construction program is planned and designed;and then design the process model and the control system model;finally, introduce the complex control chain system and optimize the above design to realize the simulation training system. The simulation results show that the control system can actually reflect the dynamic characteristics of the actual equipment, and can correctly carry out the production operation process and safety interlock control of the device by using process control software and configuration software the control system. It is significant for the development of the DME simulation training system.

The availability of online course materials from institutions in academia aid this process, lending standardized and validated information to the audience seeking such knowledge. This paper investigates the techno-economic viability of grid tied PV system that can be massively deployed in the residential areas of a developing country. Pakistan has been chosen as the area of study for this research. Furthermore, it takes net -metering incentive into account to propose a technologically viable and cost effective grid tied photovoltaic (PV) setup to mitigate the energy crisis prevalent over Pakistan. A detailed market research has been carried out for appropriate technology selection and optimal design of the PV system. Cost and payback analysis for the proposed system has been carried out to find the economic feasibility of the system. The results of the analysis showed that the proposed system can recover its cost with the net-metering incentive within 12 years and the consumer can benefit from the free electricity produced by the system for the remaining of its life time i.e. 13 years.

South Africa's higher education system, like many others, is presently experiencing a significant transition towards digital forms of teaching and learning. This transition precedes the advent of Covid-19 but has been hastened by the pandemic. However, these new technologies also bring with them new digital practices. A crucial means by which communication is enacted is by reading e-textbooks. However, e-textbooks may enable different forms of engaging with written text than are offered by traditional, print textbooks. Despite this need, only a few studies have been conducted on students' use of e-textbooks in engineering education. In this study, data were collected by way of focus-group interviews conducted with first-year students from two engineering departments (chemical engineering and nautical science) at a university of technology in South Africa. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis using ***. In order to analyze and contextualize the findings obtained, the researchers make use of a theoretical framework, Mediated Discourse Analysis (MDA). The findings provide insight into how students engage with e-textbooks and how this might be different from engaging with traditional, print textbooks. The findings also reveal the extent to which some new digital literacy reading practices remain unfamiliar to engineering students.

Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN) is a Cisco IOS software solution for improvement scalable IPsec Virtual Private Network (VPN) that allows communication between branches over the Internet without requiring a permanent VPN tunnel between sites. DMVPN is a new technology that combines multiple GRE (MGRE) Tunnels, IPsec encryption and NHRP (Next Hop Resolution Protocol) that consist of two mainly deployment designs such as static hub to spoke and dynamic spoke to spoke IPsec tunnels. The security of data is an important aspect and encryption algorithm play an important role to provide the security to data. In this research, a performance and comparison of encryption techniques (AES, 3DES, DES) using Dynamic Virtual Protocol Network (DMVPN) technology by GNS3 and real Cisco devices with different parameters (throughput, jitter and packet loss) based on transferring data and video streaming were presented. The results of this study indicate that the AES encryption has better performance to provide optimum performance in the network.
