Due to easy amalgamation with sustainableenergy sources, storage units and electric loads, DC grid system is getting more research attention in current times. With the aim of achieving a reliable as well as flexible DC common bus system, it is preferred to operate multiple DC-DC converters in parallel connected architecture. However, due to the parallel connection among converters, coupling effect is observed during the operation. For a smooth controlling of overall system, proper modelling needs to be done. This paper analyses a detailed small signal based model approach for parallel connected DC converters operating with droop control algorithm. An approximation of small ripple in inductor current is considered for modelling. effect of coupling is taken in to account during modelling process. The presence of cable resistance has direct effect on location of zero in the right-half-plane for derived control to individual converter output voltage transfer function. The controller is designed using the coupled model to achieve suitable stability margin. The correctness of designed model and controller is verified using simulation studies.

This paper presents a SLAM solution based on Rao-Blackwellized particle filters supported by a fast scan matching algorithm for pose refinement and a flexible space management data structure. By taking advantage of independence between particles its computational efficiency is further improved through multithreading. We haveevaluated theefficiency of the solution by using several publicly available datasets and compared the results with the popular solution GMapping. The obtained results show the proposed approach provides a fast and accurate particle filter SLAM suitable for real-time operations.

This paper proposes a novel method for clustering nodes based on prevailing power flow conditions within a power grid. To this end, first, the network's active power flow state is modelled as a directed acyclic graph. This digraph explicitly represents where power is flowing and this can help in monitoring and analysing system vulnerabilities. The directed acyclic graph representation also allows easy identification of those buses that solely provide or absorb active power: these are pure source and sink nodes, respectively. An iterative path-finding procedure is applied to every node in the system, to enumerate the sources that is fed by, and the downstream sinks towards which it forwards power. The novel clustering algorithm is then applied, to group together those nodes which share the same set of reachable sources and sinks. This novel clustering methodology is proposed in the first instance as a tool to boost the situational awareness of control room operators by better summarising aggregate power flow dispositions in largegrids. The proposed methodology is applied to two samplegrids, and an analogy to river systems is articulated, applying such notions as tributaries, distributaries and the central mainstream to electrical networks.

Nitrogen is an environmentally friendly insulating medium gas most commonly used in medium-voltage (MV) gas switchgear. In this paper, theeffect of humidity on the insulating property of nitrogen switchgears, namely, a small amount of water impurities mixed in N2 on dielectric breakdown characteristics of gas mixtures for a temperature range from 300 K to 4000 K at pressure of 0.1 MPa is analyzed. First of all, based on the Gibbs minimum freeenergy, theequilibrium composition of hot humid N2 with different water impurities fractions is calculated. Then, by solving the 2-term Boltzmann equation, theelectron energy distribution functions is devoted to computing. The reduced ionization coefficient (α/N), the reduced attachment coefficient (IJ/N), and the reduced effective ionization coefficient (αeffIN) are then obtained based on theelectron energy distribution functions. eventually, the critical reduced electric field ( $e$ / $N$ )cr is calculated. The result shows that the ( $e$ / $N$ )cr of the humid N2 vary with the concentration of water impurities. Additionally, it is important fundamental data for theevaluation of the dielectric breakdown characteristics of N2 insulated switchgears with a small amount of water impurities.
