In recent years, numerous image super-resolution (SR) methods have been introduced, achieving significant advancements. However, many existing methods employ complex, task-specific operations that, while effective, introduce substantial computational overhead when directly stacked, thereby hampering their practical utility. In response, we introduce DACNet, an efficient SR model that innovatively integrates spatial and channel information through a collaborative framework. Specifically, we alternately apply the Aggregation Spatial Convolution Module (ASCM) and the Aggregation Channel Convolution Module (ACCM) to dynamically extract and integrate multi-level features. Furthermore, we employ a Convolution Compensation Module (CCM) to mitigate local pixel forgetting. Our comprehensive experiments demonstrate that DACNet not only achieves superior performance but also maintains minimal computational demands, making it highly effective in resource-constrained environments. © 2024 ieee.

With the rapid development of new energy generation, more and more renewable energy sources (ReS) with inverters as interfaces are connected to the grid. The rising ReS penetration within power systems and the reduction of rotating generators lead to a lack of inertia and damping in power systems. To improve the safety and stability of power systems with high ReS penetration, virtual synchronous generators (VSG) are proposed to enable inverters to provide inertia to the grid. In this paper, a novel power decoupling control method is proposed based on the basic VSG control, which modifies the reactive power control and analyze its reactive power response. The effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper is verified by MATLAB/Simulink. © 2023 ieee.

With the improvement of the level of grid intelligence, the distribution network, as the terminal of the power system, ensures the safety of the distribution room and has an important significance to the smooth operation of the grid. To be able to understand the operation condition of the secondary equipment in the distribution room in real-time and ensure the safe and stable operation of the distribution room, a method for sensing the secondary operation status of the distribution room is proposed. Firstly, the noise processing method based on the wavelet transform is proposed based on the environmental data and the operation data of the secondary equipment such as voltage and current in the distribution room, and then the time-frequency analysis method of the data characteristics of the secondary equipment is designed for the denoised data and transformed into the form of time-frequency diagram to extract the data features. Finally, a ResNet-based secondary equipment operation situational awareness model is proposed to determine the current operation status of the power distribution room by means of time-frequency graph classification. The analysis of the algorithm shows that the method can effectively sense the current secondary equipment operation status of the power distribution room and ensure that the power distribution room is in a smooth operation state. © 2023 ieee.

With high scalability and flexibility, serverless computing is becoming the most promising computing model. existing serverless computing platforms initiate a container for each function invocation, which leads to a huge waste of computing resources. Our examinations reveal that (i) executing invocations concurrently within a single container can provide comparable performance to that provided by multiple containers (i.e., traditional approaches);(ii) redundant resources generated within a container result in memory resource waste, which prolongs the execution time of function invocations. Motivated by these insightful observations, we propose FaaSBatch - a serverless framework that reduces invocation latency and saves scarce computing resources. In particular, FaaSBatch first classifies concurrent function requests into different function groups according to the invocation information. Next, FaaSBatch batches the invocations of each group, aiming to minimize resource utilization. Then, FaaSBatch utilizes an inline parallel policy to map each group of batched invocations into a single container. Finally, FaaSBatch expands and executes invocations of containers in parallel. To further reduce invocation latency and resource utilization, within each container, FaaSBatch reuses redundant resources created during function execution. We conduct extensive experiments based on Azure traces to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of FaaSBatch. We compare FaaSBatch with three state-of-the-art schedulers Vanilla, SFS, and Kraken. Our experimental results show that FaaSBatch effectively and remarkably slashes invocation latency and resource overhead. For instance, when executing I/O functions, FaaSBatch cuts back the invocation latency of Vanilla, SFS, and Kraken by up to 92.18%, 89.54%, and 90.65%, respectively;FaaSBatch also slashes the resource overhead of Vanilla, SFS, and Kraken by 58.89% to 94.77%, 43.72% to 90.39%, and 42.99% to 78.88%, respectively.

Data aggregation can not only achieve data compression, but also ensure the privacy of individual data, which is widely used in smart grid. To obtain in-depth data analysis and integrity of the transmitted data, Zhang et al. proposed a verifiable privacy-preserving multi-type data aggregation scheme in smart grid (DOI:10.1109/TDSC.2021.3124546, ieee T DePeND SeCURe). They claim that their scheme can achieve the integrity of encrypted data and aggregated data. However, by analyzing Zhang et al.'s scheme, we find that it does not achieve the data integrity they claim. An adversary can arbitrarily tamper with the encrypted data of the smart meter and the aggregated data of the aggregation gateway. Then the corresponding attacks are given. Finally, after analyzing the reasons for such attacks, we provide a suggestion to overcome them.

To meet the ever-increasing computing demands of smart cities, intelligent vehicles with rapid growth can be an effective supplement to the computing power network by sharing their underutilized computing resources. Considering that most of the vehicles are in the parked state, we call the computing paradigm as Parked-Vehicle Assisted computing (PAC). However, current PAC systems ignore the parking demands of vehicles, which should consider not only the income brought by the computing resource trade but also the time cost and energy consumption of vehicles during traveling to the parking lot. In this paper, we design a trade framework and two trade models in a PAC system to encourage vehicles to rent out idle computing resources to enhance the computing power network. The costs of time and energy of vehicles during traveling and the computing energy consumption of both vehicles and edge Servers (eSs) are considered. Based on the models, we design two optimization problems: 1) the individual trade value maximization problem to obtain personalized trade information of a vehicle, including the target parking lot, and 2) the trade allocation problem for determining trade results by maximizing the combined trade value, i.e. the maximum sum of the individual trade value of the requesting vehicles. We propose a low-complexity greedy-based Trade Allocation Rule (TAR) to obtain the trade allocation strategy. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms other benchmark schemes in allocation time and combined trade value.

Aiming at the problem that deep learning cannot directly read one-dimensional dissolved gas data in oil, a wavelet transform data dimension conversion method based on the generalized Gaussian function is proposed to convert one-dimensional fault samples into two-dimensional The characteristic image is used to satisfy the data Diagnostic format of the converter transformer fault diagnosis method and at the same time, domain adaptive semi-supervised loss is introduced to optimize the model parameters. In view of the characteristics of existing deep learning models with many parameters and complex structures, a method based on lightweight neural networks and model compression is proposed to integrate and reduce deep learning models through convolutional layers and batch-normalization (BN) layers. The method of model compression by adjusting the bit-width of the parameters not only can effectively compress the deep learning model with almost no loss of model accuracy, but also improves the fault identification efficiency. In addition, the method can be successfully deployed on the edge computing platform, which realizes the effective utilization of resources and real-time response. © 2024 ieee.

This abstract discusses the transformational capacity of Shor's Algorithm and quantum cryptography in quantum computing. However, Shor's Algorithm poses a problem to classical cryptographic systems such as RSA encryption because of its apparent capacity to multiply speed the integer factorization. This approach relies on multimillions qubit quantum computers with systematic error correction which have yet to be implemented. Quantum cryptography revolutionizes secure communication via Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). It uses quantum mechanics to design the unbreakable key exchange system that can identify eavesdropping. Despite the prospect, quantum cryptography is hampered by limits in distances and speeds of QKD transmission. Quantum repeaters and satellite-based QKD make it possible to overcome these difficulties and facilitate the creation of a secure global communication grid. The comparison of classical and quantum cryptography illustrates an evolution from complexity-based security to quantum physics security, which is immune to quantum computational attacks. Reports of quantum supremacy and QKD network development are stages on the way towards quantum computers and cryptography. Technology challenges on this approach include scalability of quantum systems, qubit coherence, and error correction. Quantum computing has the potential to transform computer and communication security. This route involves innovation in quantum technology development, as well as integration issues. Quantum computing and cryptography's full potential would lead to an age of new computational possibilities that will change the encryption of data and secure communication. © 2024 ieee.

In this study, we investigate how Big Data and Cloud computing can work together to better understand what online shoppers really want. The proliferation of e-commerce has increased the importance of listening to and meeting the requirements of customers. This research utilizes a wide variety of data sources to perform descriptive and predictive analysis, including customer transaction records, website clickstream data, customer reviews, and social media interactions. The prediction model's impressive prognostic accuracy may be attributed to its incorporation of client demographics, historical purchase history, and sentiment analysis. Text mining and natural language processing (NLP) are proven to provide insights from consumer input, while cloud computing architecture is shown to increase operational efficiency and scalability. In this paper, we explore how e-commerce enterprises may benefit from this game-changing technology by improving their customer service, cutting costs, and gaining an edge in the market. Business leaders, data scientists, cloud providers, academics, and the public all stand to gain from this study's findings. Future research directions that hold promise for keeping the e-commerce landscape at the cutting edge of innovation and customer-centric strategies include advanced deep learning techniques;real-time customer need identification;data privacy;scalability;cross-channel analysis;and industry benchmarking. © 2024 ieee.

Thyristor is widely used in the industrial field, especially in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission. It is the core component of the converter valves. The device characteristics of thyristors seriously affect the safe operation of converter valves and even the entire HVDC transmission system. In this paper, a voltage and temperature accelerated aging test platform is built, and the degradation law of thyristor characteristic parameters is analyzed. The results show that the degradation of thyristor leakage current is the most obvious, which is the precursor of its aging. This paper proposes a method to measure the leakage current of thyristors by gate voltage Vgk under non-trigger current. The feasibility of the method is verified by experiments. The Vgk can measure both junction temperature (Tj) and leakage current. The monitoring of Tj and leakage current is very important to ensure the safe and reliable operation of thyristors. © 2024 ieee.
