In recent years, the demand for electricity of the whole society has been increasing rapidly, and the power suppliers have been unable to meet the power consumption demand of all users. In order to effectively balance the relationship between the power suppliers and users, and ensure the satisfaction of suppliers and the experience of users, a load optimization model is proposed. Based on Time-of-use tariff, the model comprehensively considers the income satisfaction of the power supplier, the satisfaction of the consumer's electricity expenditure and the satisfaction of electricity consumption, and takes Time-of-use tariff and elastic load as decision variables. Finally, the multi-objective function of residential user price response under Time-of-use tariff mechanism is constructed, and the genetic algorithm is used to optimize the model under various constraints. The experimental results show that the load optimization algorithm can effectively reduce the load curve of residential electricity, and can carry out peak cutting and valley filling on the premise of ensuring the satisfaction of users and power supplier. © 2024 ieee.

Medical Certificates are legal documents issued by Hospitals to the patient. These certificates will be evidence to their employer, and insurance companies that they are fit to take on employment, and insurance claims of entitlement in Nigeria. Over the years, Alimosho General Hospital has been faced with the challenges of fake medical certificates issued by the hospital which has led to the death of the citizen, racketeering, and diminishing of the hospital's reputation. This paper presents a study that explores the importance of digitizing medical certificates and implementing e-verification systems in the healthcare sector by introducing unique QR codes on each certificate issued by the hospital for instant verification and authenticity of the document. It proposes this by converting hardcopy certificates, generating unique QR codes and establishing secure e-verification using a react-based application to design an interactive webpage that will store medical certificates in, a MySQL database. The certificates will then be used to generate unique QR codes and registered in a Hyperledger Fabric blockchain for e-verification. The paper recommends opportunities for implementing digital certificates and e-verification, along with the challenges encountered. © 2024 ieee.

Through user-centric solutions and advanced features, e-Waste Alchemy is an innovative platform that aims to transform the administration of electronic waste (e-waste). The Recycle Centre on the platform is comprehensive, allowing users to specify the brand and model of laptops, smartphones, and a variety of accessories in order to schedule and select the retrieval. e-Waste Alchemy further improves user convenience by enabling real-time tracking of nearby recyclers based on the user's current location. Furthermore, the platform employs predictive analytics to determine the market values of the components contained within each device, including plastic, aluminum, and nickel. The responsible disposal of e-waste is promoted by this predictive feature, which also contributes to environmental sustainability by optimizing recycling processes. e-Waste Alchemy is a forward-thinking and adaptable solution that facilitates the administration of e-waste and promotes a circular economy. © 2024 ieee.

In the current context, integrated distribution networks of the electricity grid to provide reliability during blackouts. Self-healing systems may keep functioning and reconfigure themselves in response to external breakdowns or attacks by using the efficient strategy of restoration. An intelligent decision-making framework is necessary to ensure the system as a whole can self-reconfigure in the face of external failures and attacks. Incorrect grid modifications can pose a significant threat to the power grid's security and cause delays in network traffic and packet loss. So, in this research, edge Computational Integrated Improved Data paradigm (eC-IDM) to deal with failures and attacks in real time. By mitigating the consequences of security worries, packet loss, latency, and overcrowded networks, edge computing has greatly increased the smart grid's capacity for efficient operation and communication. Smart grid's posterior intelligent model (SSPIM) integration enhances the system's functionality and productivity. This research introduces an eC-IDM that can detect blackout scenarios and automatically construct a restoration strategy in real time. In eC-IDM, an enhanced hierarchical coordination mechanism and a local object optimization method are combined to optimize failures and attacks in real time over many time and space axes. Differentiating features of eC-IDM include real-time data analysis, networked simulation, smart decision support, and a wealth of other useful features. The simulation results indicate that the recommended strategy achieves best in security concerns optimizes network congestion delay, and packet loss security, increases efficiency and performance compared to the other standard ways. © 2023 ieee.

The main challenge in forecasting pollution levels is the need to consider local weather conditions. Integrating weather data with pollution data is crucial for improving the accuracy of air pollution level forecasts. This research integrates weather data and pollution data to forecast air pollution levels using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), a deep learning method that can train systems on large datasets by integrating feature extraction and classification processes. CNN is particularly effective in processing data with a grid structure, such as two-dimensional images, and can also handle high-dimensional data, such as video. This study applies an effective CNN method to forecast air pollution levels using data from an 10T-based integrated weather station. Out of 10 experiments conducted using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm, 9 successfully predicted air pollution levels with high accuracy. With RMSe of 1.2639, MAe of 1.2637, and MAPe of 0.63583%, the CNN model performed best in this investigation, exhibiting extremely low prediction errors. Additionally, an R-Square value of 0.98819 indicates that the model can explain almost all the variability in the data. © 2024 ieee.

Real-time monitoring of mixed particles in the substation environment can form a reliable early warning before the fire, which will save valuable time for fire investigation and treatment and avoid fire. The ambient gas in the substation is a mixed gas containing components such as dust in addition to thermolysis ions to be detected. In order to accurately detect the concentration of thermolysis ions in mixed gas, in this paper, a solar-blind ultraviolet scattering particle measurement method is proposed, which can simultaneously detect thermolysis ions in a substation environment. It is shown that the scattering phase function of solar-blind ultraviolet ellipsoidal particles is smoother than that of its equivalent spherical particles, so some typical particle shape distribution functions can better describe the scattering characteristics of thermolysis ions, which is beneficial to the measurement of thermolysis ions. © 2023 ieee.

With the rapid growth of Internet of Vehicles (IoV) applications and the advancement of edge computing, resource-limited vehicles (and other IoT devices) increasingly rely on external servers to handle diverse and complex computational tasks. However, this dependence on external servers, which may be malicious or compromised, introduces significant security risks. Replication-based verifiable computing has been proposed as a solution to verify the accuracy of task results, but these approaches are vulnerable to collusion, where compromised servers return identical incorrect results to mislead the vehicle. existing defenses against collusion either cannot ensure complete protection or become ineffective as the number of colluding servers rises. In this paper, we introduce CoVFeFe, a collusion-resilient verification framework designed to detect and mitigate collusion, even when the majority of servers are compromised. Our framework integrates a rapid detection mechanism that monitors computational conflicts, alongside a heuristic mitigation strategy that identifies and neutralizes colluding servers. Simu-lation results demonstrate that CoVFeFe outperforms existing solutions by successfully identifying all colluding servers, even when they constitute a majority > 50%) of the network. © 2024 ieee.

In the telecommunications sector where real-time data processing and low latency are essential, grid computing promotes faster response times and reduced network congestion. grid computing has since become a very powerful and indispensable tool for telecommunications operators because it allows companies to optimize their operations, improve the performance of their network and provide better services to their customers. One of the distributed computing systems used in telecommunications is the User-PC (UPC) system. The User-PC computing (UPC) system provides a cost-effective distributed computing platform by utilizing the unused resources of personal computers (PCs). effective job allocation methods are essential for optimizing system performance. In this study, we introduce a comparative analysis of the static job scheduling problem in the UPC system, focusing on the performance comparison between our proposed hybrid approach, which combines a greedy algorithm and a algorithm genetics, and the approach based on Randomized Multi-Start Local Search. Our hybrid algorithm is composed of two steps. In the first step, a Greedy Algorithm is used to create an initial population of candidate solutions by assigning jobs to available workers based on CPU core utilization. In the second step, a Genetic Algorithm is used to optimize job-worker assignments through selection, crossover and mutation operations. To evaluate the performance of our approach, extensive experiments were conducted with up to 27 jobs and 6 worker PCs. The results show that our hybrid approach achieved a shorter makespan compared to the approach based on Randomized Multi-Start Local Search. Specifically, our algorithm outperformed the multi-start random local search-based method by more than 31% in terms of makespan reduction. The experimental results highlight the effectiveness of our hybrid approach to improve job scheduling performance in the UPC system. © 2023 ieee.

Due to the influence of terrain, transportation, or surrounding environmental facilities, it is difficult to carry out live maintenance work on a large scale in distribution network lines of 10 kV and below. In response to this problem, the design method of an insulation platform with vertical lifting function for live working in distribution networks is studied. The selection of materials and functional implementation methods are described, and the stress situation of the platform is analyzed, Through practical application, it has been verified that this platform can enable maintenance personnel to flexibly rotate along the pole body and move up and down in the live area, safely and conveniently carrying out hot line work on distribution network lines. © 2023 ieee.

Based on the autotransformer split winding fault simulation test platform, the overall frequency response of the split winding and the frequency response of each independent winding are tested under fault-free and typical fault conditions, and the electrical parameters are simulated and analysed, so as to study the characteristics of the frequency response and its change mechanism. © 2023 ieee.
