Real-time monitoring of mixed particles in the substation environment can form a reliable early warning before the fire, which will save valuable time for fire investigation and treatment and avoid fire. The ambient gas in the substation is a mixed gas containing components such as dust in addition to thermolysis ions to be detected. In order to accurately detect the concentration of thermolysis ions in mixed gas, in this paper, a solar-blind ultraviolet scattering particle measurement method is proposed, which can simultaneously detect thermolysis ions in a substation environment. It is shown that the scattering phase function of solar-blind ultraviolet ellipsoidal particles is smoother than that of its equivalent spherical particles, so some typical particle shape distribution functions can better describe the scattering characteristics of thermolysis ions, which is beneficial to the measurement of thermolysis ions. © 2023 ieee.

Aiming at the node scheduling problem of electric power communication network, this paper proposes a resource intelligent scheduling method based on federated reinforcement learning for electric power communication network to realize collaborative planning and flexible resource scheduling of provincial and local electric power communication methods. The node scheduling method in this paper is based on the tasks issued by the task nodes, the power communication network nodes according to the network attributes, power characteristics, computing attributes and data characteristics to form the power communication network node fitness, in the power communication network node fitness evaluation based on the selection of the order set of top-ranked work nodes, the formation of the work layer topology, to complete the construction of the federal learning. The working layer topology obtained using the power communication network node orchestration method proposed in this paper significantly reduces the cost consumption in the federated learning mode, helps to realize the grid-communication system model fusion and data coherence, and improves the intelligent level of the power grid-communication system resource management and network service planning. © 2023 ieee.

In this study, we use the CIMulator platform to evaluate the performance of neuromorphic accelerators with novel Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 (HZO) ferroelectric fin field-effect transistor (FefinFeT) as synaptic device. The MNIST handwritten digit dataset is used for training and inference processes in multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural networks. With the highly optimized synaptic device, the results demonstrate high training and inference accuracy, achieving up to 97% for the MLP, approaching the accuracy of software implementations. © 2024 ieee.

The Open Knowledgebase of Interatomic Models (OpenKIM) is an NSF science Gateway that archives fully functional computer implementations of interatomic models (potentials and force fields) and simulation codes that use them to compute material properties. Interatomic models are coupled with compatible simulation codes and executed in a fully automated manner by the OpenKIM processing pipeline, a cloud-based computation platform. The pipeline as previously introduced in the literature was insufficient to support the large volume and scale of computations that have become necessary within the materials science community. Accordingly, we present extensions made to the pipeline that allow it to utilize High-Performance computing (HPC) resources in an efficient and performant fashion.

To address the problem of cost sharing among multiple economic agents participating in microgrid capacity planning, it is proposed that the formulation of binding agreements is the key to the cooperative game that can be realized ultimately. Firstly, the conditions that need to be satisfied by the cost sharing strategy of cooperative game in islanded wind-photo-hydrogen storage microgrid system are given, i.e., overall rationality, coalition rationality and individual rationality. Secondly, four cost-sharing strategies are used to cost-share the total economic cost in the fully cooperative game, and the acceptance degree of each game participant in the cooperative game process is measured by the MDP (modified disruption propensity, MDP) index. Finally, taking the actual wind speed and light intensity of a place in Northwest China as an example, it is verified that the cost sharing strategy based on equal MDP index and Shapley value is more attractive to all parties and belongs to the core set, which is a binding cost sharing strategy. © 2024 ieee.

In the current context, integrated distribution networks of the electricity grid to provide reliability during blackouts. Self-healing systems may keep functioning and reconfigure themselves in response to external breakdowns or attacks by using the efficient strategy of restoration. An intelligent decision-making framework is necessary to ensure the system as a whole can self-reconfigure in the face of external failures and attacks. Incorrect grid modifications can pose a significant threat to the power grid's security and cause delays in network traffic and packet loss. So, in this research, edge Computational Integrated Improved Data paradigm (eC-IDM) to deal with failures and attacks in real time. By mitigating the consequences of security worries, packet loss, latency, and overcrowded networks, edge computing has greatly increased the smart grid's capacity for efficient operation and communication. Smart grid's posterior intelligent model (SSPIM) integration enhances the system's functionality and productivity. This research introduces an eC-IDM that can detect blackout scenarios and automatically construct a restoration strategy in real time. In eC-IDM, an enhanced hierarchical coordination mechanism and a local object optimization method are combined to optimize failures and attacks in real time over many time and space axes. Differentiating features of eC-IDM include real-time data analysis, networked simulation, smart decision support, and a wealth of other useful features. The simulation results indicate that the recommended strategy achieves best in security concerns optimizes network congestion delay, and packet loss security, increases efficiency and performance compared to the other standard ways. © 2023 ieee.

Power grid patrol and field operation have the characteristics of mobility and large scope, so it is difficult to supervise their operation behavior in time and accurately. At the same time, the quantitative evaluation data of task workload, task execution, its efficiency and operation duration of operators lack effective collection standards and evaluation support tools. Under this background, this paper studies the evaluation method of work order processing based on business trajectory logic. Firstly, the data selling point method and Lagrange interpolation algorithm are used to process and synchronize the job data. Then, on the basis of proper data processing, the job trajectory is constructed based on business trajectory logic. The calculation method of trajectory deviation weight and the evaluation weight of physical efficiency are studied. Finally, the evaluation model and evaluation score of job trajectory tracking are established. This evaluation method can effectively solve the problems existing in the work evaluation and performance appraisal of mobile operators, improve the efficiency of power grid inspection and reduce the cost of human resources. © 2023 ieee.

The proliferation of distributed energy resources has heightened the interactions between transmission and distribution (T&D) systems, necessitating novel analyses for the reliable operation and planning of interconnected T&D networks. A critical gap is an analysis approach that identifies and localizes the weak spots in the combined T&D networks, providing valuable information to system planners and operators. The research goal is to efficiently model and simulate infeasible (i.e. unsolvable in general settings) combined positive sequence transmission and three-phase distribution networks with a unified solution algorithm. We model the combined T&D network with the equivalent circuit formulation. To solve the overall T&D network, we build a Gauss-Jacobi-Newton (GJN) based distributed primal dual interior point optimization algorithm capable of isolating weak nodes. We validate the approach on large combined T&D networks with 70k+ T and 15k+ D nodes and demonstrate performance improvement over the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) method. © 2025 ieee Computer Society. Due to the influence of terrain, transportation, or surrounding environmental facilities, it is difficult to carry out live maintenance work on a large scale in distribution network lines of 10 kV and below. In response to this problem, the design method of an insulation platform with vertical lifting function for live working in distribution networks is studied. The selection of materials and functional implementation methods are described, and the stress situation of the platform is analyzed, Through practical application, it has been verified that this platform can enable maintenance personnel to flexibly rotate along the pole body and move up and down in the live area, safely and conveniently carrying out hot line work on distribution network lines. © 2023 ieee.

Target detection is a popular direction in computer vision and digital image processing. It is widely used in robot navigation, intelligent video surveillance, industrial detection, aerospace, and many other fields. It has important practical significance to reduce the consumption of human capital through computer vision. Due to the widespread use of deep learning, target detection algorithms have developed relatively rapidly. In this paper, we propose a method for detecting insulator defects Based on Cascaded Fast R-CNN. We use RoIAlign instead of RoIPooling to get a better positioning effect and add a mask branch on the basis of Faster R-CNN to complete the pixel-level segmentation task, which can detect insulator defects in real-time with high detection accuracy. © 2021 ieee.
