Base on Lyapunov stability theory of time-delay systems, the chaos control and synchronization problems of time-delay chaotic system are discussed in this paper. A linear controller to realize chaos control is designed and the synchronization problem of a new time-delay chaotic systems is discussed by combining of a new theorem and the characters of the chaotic system. This paper puts forward a fuel control method for scramjet test. The control method of the Kholod scramjet flight test was analyzed systematically and regarding combustor surface pressure as the controlled parameter was verified by numerical simulations. The linear mathematical equations were established by system identification and the PID controller was designed for these equations. To validate correctness of the PID controller, series of experiments and simulations were conducted. Finally, the results by the simulations and experiments show that the method introduced in this paper meets the requirement of control precision and quickness.

In this paper, a PID control analysis for active power filter (APF) is presented. Based on the analysis, it is clearly shown that a large overshoot and long setting time of DC bus voltage will occur when conventional PI controller is used in APF. To solve this problem, a novel control strategy is introduced to improve the performance of the controlled system. The stability of the closed-loop system will also be proved by Lyapunov function. At last, simulation results are given to verify the correctness of the PID analysis and illustrate the advantages of the control strategy.

In this paper, a neural-network-based control scheme is developed for the tracking control problem of a class of disturbed nonlinear switched strict-feedback systems with input delay. First, the auxiliary signals are obtained by ingeniously constructing a filter and a virtual observer. Then the backstepping technique and neural networks are employed to construct a common Lyapunov function (CLF) and a state feedback controller for all subsystems. It is proved all signals of the closedloop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB), and that the tracking error ultimately converges to an adequately small compact set.

A new supervised genetic learning control for maintaining voltage profiles after an emergency in power systems is proposed in this study. Search efficiency is improved after introducing system knowledge into the search process of genetic learning. The optimization of the coordinated voltage control is considered a multi-objective optimal problem. Thus, a set of effective controls can be found, and a knowledge base is formed. Effective controls are stored in a long-term memory and exploited for further application. After an emergency, the stored knowledge is used to provide guidance in addition to an online learning process. The search efficiencies of genetic learning can be significantly improved. A system simulation of the New England 39-bus system shows the efficiency of the proposed genetic learning control.

In this letter, we combine the continuous systems with the impulsive control systems. Thus we propose a new mathematic model, namely sandwich control system. The system is a cyclic control system and there is no "rest time" for the inputs. The first and last parts of the system's inputs are continuous and other's is impulsive for a period of the system. We study the stability of it by constructing a Lyapunov function and using some mathematical techniques we get an exponential stability criteria in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities. This paper investigates the problem of consensus tracking for discrete-time networked multi-agent systems (NMASs), where information is exchanged through a network with a constant communication delay. Based on output feedback, observer and the networked predictive control scheme, a novel consensus protocol is proposed to compensate for the communication delay actively and follow the track of the external reference. For NMASs with a directed topology and a constant delay, a necessary and sufficient condition for the consensus is given. An numerical simulation is given to validate the theoretical results.
