To better guide people to evacuate in a given area, this paper proposes a multi-agent emergency evacuation simulation system for the adjustment of people's downward flow in a dynamic disaster environment. The main goal of this paper for managing emergency evacuation is to build a basic model that can simulate the location distribution of people, the speed of personnel, the pedestrian flow, road congestion and other situations. The proposed system mainly combines two multi-agent-based methods, i.e., cellular automata (CA) model and ripple-spreading algorithm (RSA). The CA model simulates the road network and the flow of people, the improved RSA calculates the optimal evacuation path for each people and improves the system calculation efficiency. With the proposed system, we test some specific control measures for high-risk sections in a given area by analyzing evacuation time, road congestion, etc., and the data after the control measures are compared with those before the control measures to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system in the evacuation process. The results can be used to assess the effectiveness of emergency control measures in a given area, such as crowed scenic spot. © 2020 ieee.

Pipeline systems have been taken as one of the most important tools for transmission around the world. It will be important for the industrial society that pipeline systems function appropriately by taking into consideration the growing requirement for effective interconnecting fluid networks. Typically, there are various kinds of control systems or algorithms for pipeline leak detection. In this paper, a pipeline leak detection and location method is proposed based on fuzzy control. It is concluded that the response of the fuzzy controller is fast and has no oscillations and this is appropriate for numerous high- precision usages like robotics as well as weapon systems. The numerical results demonstrate that the suggested technique is simple, efficient, and has a high level of localization precision.

In order to reduce the injection cost of large-scale manufacturing industry and solve the problem of uncontrollable quality in the production process, this paper studies the quality control of an intelligent injection molding system based on process monitoring. The system can reliably and objectively monitor the changes of cavity pressure and temperature at different positions in the mold forming process. When the product quality is abnormal, the cavity pressure curve will change greatly. Through the system, the abnormal products can be automatically screened out, the automation of quality detection can be realized, and the qualified rate of quality products can be improved. Based on the data of cavity pressure and temperature collected by the system, a BP neural network pressure prediction model is established. The model takes some important process parameters, the pressure value at the beginning of filling as the input, and the cavity pressure at the remaining stages as the output. Through the model, the expected prediction accuracy is obtained. Finally, it can be implemented on the injection molding machine, and the injection molding process can be adjusted online Some input values in the process provide data support for further quality control. © 2021 ieee.

In role-playing games (RPGs), players are called upon to assume the role of a character moving in an imaginary environment and facing several challenges. Their success or failure often depends on randomizers like cards or dice. Regarding the latter, the most commonly used in RPGs are the Platonic solids with the addition of the ten-sided die. They are commonly simulated through classical computers, however, since true randomness is not in their nature, they can only generate pseudorandom numbers. On the contrary, quantum computers exploit the nondeterministic nature of quantum mechanics, so they are perfect candidates for truly random simulations in games of chance. For this reason, this paper proposes and tests various quantum circuits for sampling uniformly distributed discrete values within a fixed range, corresponding to the number of faces of the dice. The simulations reveal the pure randomness of the output of the implemented circuits. They were then used to generate random numbers within a three-dimensional dice-rolling game.

The paper proposes an algorithm that unifies the sequence of actions during cardiac endovascular surgery. The algorithm clearly shows the typical operation required for different medical manipulations, helping to design more universal robots. In the future, this algorithm can be used to create endovascular robots that will completely replace humans in the operating room, leaving only the decision-making function to the surgeon. The analysis of the proposed algorithm showed that commercial endovascular robots are much less advanced and can perform no more than $50 \%$ of the actions performed by medical personnel. Moreover, in most cases, all these actions are performed manually with complete control of the surgeon. To understand how endovascular robotics can be more automated, all operations within the developed algorithm were divided into three classes, depending on the complexity and risks of their automation. The first class includes operations where the robot does not interact directly with the patient. Therefore, they can already be automated with minimal risk to the patient. The third class includes actions that are the most difficult to automate and carry the highest risks for the patient in case of incorrect execution. The paper also analyzes the actions performed by the surgeon when the operation does not go according to plan, helping to design the robot that will be able to minimize the consequences for the patient in case of mistakes that happen during cardiac endovascular surgery.

Most of the intelligent windows sold on the market are simple windows that can only be opened and closed by remote control, or windows that can be linked with curtains and exhaust fans to achieve other functions. Their functions are relatively single, which can not fully reflect the advantages of 'intelligence', and they are not real intelligent windows. Therefore, in view of this problem, a new type of intelligent window was designed. The design of the window includes the structure design and the control system design based on STM32 MCU. At the same time, the key technology of tracking the sun light and reflecting the sunlight into the room was studied. The angle relationships between the outgoing light and the rotation axis of the mirror louver, the plane of the louver, the incident light and the outgoing light were determined. According to these relationships, the angle of the louver was controlled and adjusted, so as to reflect the outdoor sunlight into the room. Finally, it can realize four functions, such as opening and closing automatically, rain proof, inducing wind and improving indoor lighting, so that it can become a real intelligent window. © 2021 ieee.

As a frequently used polymer material, polyoxymethylene (POM) has played an indispensable role in a variety of industrial fields. For production efficiency and safety, online monitoring of POM melt index is of importance in industrial practice. However, current data-driven soft sensors for POM melt index cannot address the pure delays within process variables. In this work, we propose time-delayed Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy neural network as a novel data-driven soft sensor model, and improved quantum genetic algorithm (IQGA) for parameter estimation. By considering time-delayed process variables, the predictive performance and interpretability of soft sensor models can be improved. However, it is computationally cumbersome to find an optimal choice of time delays, and thus IQGA is proposed to resolve this problem. Case studies on industrial data from a real-world POM plant illustrate the usefulness of the proposed soft sensing method for POM melt index prediction.

In this paper controlling the fluid level in the lower fluid tank of two coupled ones by setting the ingress rate at the upper tank was considered for comparing the behavior of two solutions: the PD-type Robust VS/SM, and the adaptive, Fixed Point Iteration (FPI)-based controllers. The coupled tanks provide smooth and truncation-type nonlinearities in a relative order 2 control task, therefore it serves as a good benchmarking paradigm for the various control approaches. The controllers were simulated by simple sequential codes written in the Julia programming language. It is shown that the adaptive controller can accommodate itself to subtle details that are not taken into consideration in the robust control. The robust controller provides non-smooth, switching-type results while the adaptive one can provide smooth solution even in the presence of system modeling errors. In the case of the adaptive controller appropriate setting of the control parameters play central role. While mathematically the FPI-based solution is as simple as the Robust VS/SM controllers, in contrast to the Lyapunov function-based adaptive solutions, it easily can be inserted in the mathematical structure of the optimal controllers, so studying its behavior in the case of strongly nonlinear systems may open new ways for its successful applications.

In recent years, larger and more complex deep neural networks (DNNs) have led to significant advances in artificial intelligence (AI). However, the exponential growth of these models threatens forward progress. In this talk we discuss how key insights from the efficient operation of the human neocortex can deliver significant efficiency benefits in deep learning. We highlight recent research demonstrating efficiency improvements of over two orders of magnitude and discuss how AI software and hardware can evolve synergically to control the spiraling computational and energy costs of DNNs.

Effects of exercises on the back with different speed have been tested by young karatekas' roundhouse kicking and three static exercises. Changing of angles of the kicking- and the holding legs were examined before and after a half-year therapy.8 karatekas performed four groups, each got a specific strengthening program. control(1), Classic(2), Classic with constant muscle tone(3), Steady Motion Fitness(4). The 20 week practice twice a week with an individually fitted exercise repetition number. Steady Motion Fitness has come up to expectations in the case of the young karatekas, and proved to be more efficient in improving the required muscles than the other traditional strength training methods.
