As servo control system is applied more and more widely in engineering, its response speed, tracking accuracy and adaptability to complex environment have higher requirements. In order to achieve these goals, this paper proposes an improved Chicken Swarm-Particle Swarm hybrid algorithm and applies it to the parameter tuning of fractionalorder YID, that is, to obtain the optimal parameters through global search, and then to complete the design of the optimal FOPID controller. Compared with the other three intelligent optimization algorithms, the simulation results show that the SCPSO optimized FOPID controller has better response performance, anti-interference ability and robustness.

In the paper we address the problem of deriving monotonicity conditions for normalized radial basis function networks. For general shape of the kernels the necessary conditions are expressed as trivial inequalities imposed on the kernel weights together with set of linear inequalities on elements of matrices describing the kernels. If the shape is considered to be the same for all kernels the conditions become simple and intuitive. Two examples are given to demonstrate benefit of incorporation of information about monotonicity.

This article provides an analysis of harmonics existing in the electrical installation at the plant "Chiconautla", dependent on the General Management Department of Construction and Hydraulic Operation of Mexico State (DGCOH). For electrical power quality studies, monitoring equipment was initially installed at the Point of common coupling, to obtain the maximum average values of the total distortion harmonics of voltage and current. This monitoring is important, due to these signals must meet the standards established by regulatory organizations, to improve the energy quality, reduce costs and to avoid electric equipment's failures. It can he determined that the main contributions to these distortions are third, fifth and seventh harmonics. The time of transfer given by the automatic transfer equipment, was measured when failures in the network occurred. It can be said that all measurement satisfies the requirements of network code. Some recommendations are given to improve the performance of the system.

In this paper, a modified Reynold flocking algorithm is proposed based on the similarity between formation flying of UAVs and the behavior of biological groups. As the number of UAVs increasing, the UAVs far away from the leader cannot get good flocking effects due to time lag and communication failure. Therefore, in order to get better performance, a new hierarchical control approach is firstly developed according to the induction radius of leaders. The UAVs within the leader's induction radius follow the leader, while the UAVs outside the radius follow the second-level UAVs. Then an artificial potential field function is further constructed to keep the UAV separated and aggregated, so that the UAVs can realize the obstacle avoidance. Finally, it is verified by simulation that the UAVs can realize the expected formation under the proposed hierarchical flocking algorithm.
