In this paper, a stereoscopic video description method is proposed that indirectly incorporates scene geometry information derived from stereo disparity, through the manipulation of video interest points. This approach is flexible and able to cooperate with any monocular low-level feature descriptor. The method is evaluated on the problem of recognizing complex human actions in natural settings, using a publicly available action recognition database of unconstrained stereoscopic 3D videos, coming from Hollywood movies. It is compared both against competing depth-aware approaches and a state-of-the-art monocular algorithm. Experimental results denote that the proposed approach outperforms them and achieves state-of-theart performance.

The Histogram Probabilistic Multi-Hypothesis Tracker is a multi-target track before detect method with low computational complexity. However, for high resolution sensors with millions of pixels, a naive implementation can be too slow. Single target chip processing is proposed as an approximate implementation scheme that dramatically reduces computation cost without significant performance degradation. Simulated examples are used to quantify the improvements achieved.

The precise detection of unbalancing problems of the rotor balancing not only can eliminate the security risks but also bring huge economic benefits. Aiming at the signal processing method for automobile flywheel-based balancing measurement system. This paper applied mathematical morphology filter to extracting the vibration signal as preprocessing to eliminate the pulse interference and then use the method of ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) to get the intrinsic mode function (IMF), then extract the frequency, amplitude and phase of the signal by Hilbert transform. The simulation verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method in signal processing.

The transformation of raw image data into a fullcolor image involves a complex chain of computation, which is called the image processing pipeline. The possible orderings of individual operation and associated implementations that constitute the image processing chain design is over-constrained. Before, it's processed by the PC and obeys the rule that image quality must be maximized while computing resource use must be minimized. Or the essential processes are integrated into a chip, but lack of flexibility. With the development of programmable logic device, if the color process pipeline is processed by it, it will reduce the pressure of the computer so that the computer can do more complex and meaningful process to satisfy the need of the user, while we can customize flexibly according to the need. This text takes the microscopic imaging camera for example.

As routine pathology moves into the digital age;the spread of high-efficiency and high-resolution tissue scanners opens up the possibility of routine analysis of three-dimensional samples containing fluorescent genetic signals. One of these cornerstones is confocal microscopy, with the help of which cell nuclei and their signals can be imaged in three dimensions. This article presents a novel deep learning-based algorithm for detecting signals within three-dimensional confocal microscopy images. By leveraging the power of convolutional neural networks, our approach significantly improves the accuracy and efficiency of signal detection compared to traditional image processing methods, especially in the case of thick sections. We demonstrate the algorithmic effectiveness through validation on various samples, highlighting its potential to advance research in biology and medicine.

We propose a non-homogeneous Conditional Random Field built over an adjacency graph of superpixels for contextual classification of high-resolution satellite images. By introducing the contextual histogram descriptor, our model includes spatially dependent unary and pairwise potentials that capture contextual interactions of the data as well as the labels. This results the non-homogeneity of the fields which improves the accuracy of the classification. Furthermore, our discriminative model performs a multi-cue combination by incorporating efficiently color, texture, edge, curvilinear continuity and familiar configuration cues. As for potentials, both local and global feature functions are learned using joint boosting whereas a likelihood ratio is learned to derive the pairwise edge potential. In this model, the optimal scene interpretation is inferred using a cluster sampling method, the Swendsen-Wang Cut algorithm. Promising results are shown on SPOT-5 satellite images.

image enhancement is one of the pre-processing steps of fingerprint image processing, in which an image can be viewed with clear ridge and valley patterns. This paper presents a novel image enhancement method using Modified Histogram Equalization (MHE) based on the Adaptive Inverse Hyperbolic Tangent (AIHT) method. The algorithm was developed in the Texas Instruments CCS environment and implemented on the TMS329C6416 DSK. The proposed algorithm was tested in many high, low, and under contrast fingerprint images and the results obtained was found to have a better visual perception suitable for human interpretation or for implementation in the automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS).

The sparsity of signal is the premise of compressed sensing theory. It has been the hot topic for many years to sparsely represent the original signal accurately and quickly. For the sparse representation of image, the K-SVD dictionary training algorithm exhibits excellent performance. By calculating the variance of each block, different K-SVD parameters are settled, then the image sparse representation and Compressed Sensing reconstruction is achieved. Experimental results show that this method can preserve more image detail, and gain higher PSNR of the reconstruction results.

we present a scaled down version of a Human Detection and Tracking System designed to run on relatively low-end machines of developing countries. The system uses sequence of monocular images of a single, fixed surveillance camera to extract data of moving objects. A Linear Motion Model coupled with Pre-computed Average Color Intensities is used to track the detected subjects across a series of frames. Head Detection algorithm is applied to form multiple hyotheses so as to accurately detect individuals in case of occlusion caused by people overlapping with each other. A final Shape Fitting algorithm is applied on the detected form to verify each hypothesis. Experiments conducted on real world data show the robustness of the algorithm, the speed of the process and its potential in lightweight, economical real- time applications.
