Text-to-image generation has important implications for generation of diverse and controllable images. Several attempts have been made to adapt Stable Diffusion (SD) to the medical domain. However, the large distribution difference between medical reports and natural texts, as well as high computational complexity in common stable diffusion limit the authenticity and feasibility of the generated medical images. To solve above problems, we propose a novel light-weight transformer-based diffusion model learning framework, Chest-Diffusion, for report-to-CXR generation. Chest-Diffusion employs a domainspecific text encoder to obtain accurate and expressive text features to guide image generation, improving the authenticity of the generated images. Meanwhile, we introduce a light-weight transformer architecture as the denoising model, reducing the computational complexity of the diffusion model. Experiments demonstrate that our Chest-Diffusion achieves the lowest FID score 24.456, under the computation budget of 118.918 GFLOPs, which is nearly one-third of the computational complexity of SD.

Amateur digital video footage, shot with a hand-held camera, is characterized by visually annoying, jerky movement between successive frames. In this paper a fast and robust image stabilization technique is presented to remove the effects of unwanted camera motion while not effecting true pans or zooms. Unlike other image stabilization techniques, which are typically used as a pre-processing step to more complicated image processing operations, the proposed technique is specifically aimed at providing "visually jerk-free video" for consumer viewing. Empirical evidence suggested that a simple global translational model for each pair of successive images followed by local integration of cumulative motion is sufficient for this purpose. We use a novel technique to estimate the translational motion model which reduces the total computational burden to less than 1 computation/pixel, while providing robust jerk elimination, thus making real-time operation possible on most PC/UNIX platforms. Tests with a number of video sequences have shown the efficacy of the proposed method.

In this paper, we focus on obtaining 21) and 31) labels, as well as track Ms for objects on the road with the help of a novel 31) Rounding Box Annotation Toolbox (3I) BAT). Our open source, web -based 31) BAT incorporates several smart features to improve usability and efficiency. For instance, this annotation toolbox supports semi -automatic labeling of tracks using interpolation, which is vital for downstream tasks like tracking, motion planning and motion prediction. Moreover, annotations for all camera images are automatically obtained by projecting annotations from 31) space into the image domain. In addition to the raw image and point cloud feeds, a Masterview consisting of the top view (bird's -eye -view), side view and front views is made available to observe objects of interest from different perspectives. Comparisons of our method with other publicly available annotation tools reveal that 31) annotations can be obtained faster and more efficiently by using our toolbox.

The electronic and computational development has helped to create many new applications where the principal idea is obtaining better results in case of an emergency. Over time, we have investigated about new processes and strategies to analyze data, and how to use by audiovisual media to teach people to respond to emergency response, or any natural disaster as a seism. Using systems based on analysis and processing of images and the new mobile applications, we can create a new tool used in case of emergency. This new application will give us the instructions to evacuate safety, taking care of everyone's physical integrity. We have developed this project to find and implement solutions to the problems that can be faced in an emergency or a natural disaster, because in those cases we need to evacuate a zone. This new application will give faster and safer ways of getting out of the dangerous places getting images from them and sending the information to the person in danger. Also, this application will be able to alert the people closer to an emergency exit letting them know the actual situation of it. It will allow the people to move through different exit routs in case of collapse, or any impediment that might be blocking an exit. Thus, the evacuation will be safer and will get better results, saving more people's lives.

Flow-based approaches for video frame interpolation typically consist of multiple networks that are responsible for feature extraction, optical flow estimation, and image synthesis, respectively. However, they are usually computationally expensive, and can hardly be employed in devices with limited computing resources. In this work, we propose an All-in-one Grid Frame Interpolation Network (AGFIN) to address this problem. AGFIN is a light-weight network with multiple rows and columns. In each row, we estimate the contextual features and optical flows, then the image synthesis module reconstructs the results from the warped frames and features. Each row serves as a coarser or finer auxiliary for the nearest row. In contrast to using multiple networks, our model integrates feature extraction, optical flow estimation, and image synthesis into a compact network. The experimental results show that our approach has better or comparable performance comparing to representative state-of-the-art approaches with less computational cost.

Plants are considered as one of the greatest assets in the field of Indian Science of Medicine called Ayurveda. Some plants have its medicinal values apart from serving as the source of food. The innovation in the allopathic medicines has degraded the significance of these therapeutic plants. People failed to have their medications at their door step instead went behind the fastest cure unaware of its side effects. One among the reasons is the lack of knowledge about identifying medicinal plants among the normal ones. So, a Vision based approach is being employed to create an automated system which identifies the plants and provides its medicinal values thus helping even a common man to be aware of the medicinal plants around them. This paper discusses about the formation of the feature set which is the important step in recognizing any plant species.

A solution for the delivery problem (vehicle routing, scheduling, and dispatching problem with single depot) is proposed to bridge the gap between conventional methods and complex situations in the real world. The HIMS model (a computational model with Hierarchical Multiplex Structure) is also applied for solving the delivery problem. The HIMS model contains 3 layers: Atomic layer (system cost can be controlled by a heuristic method), Molecular layer (system state can be adjusted by a heuristic method and an optimal calculation), and Individual layer (a system balance can be modified based on information technology service). Experiments with two cases (full or minimum working vehicles) are performed. The experimental results and the evaluations by experts show that the solution provides a feasible and efficient tool to solve the delivery problem in the real world. © 2011 ieee.

Monitoring of embryos is an important activity during In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures. A critical stage is that of the early embryo, which is formed by a small number of cells (blastomeres): the morphology of such cells is considered to be a powerful indicator of the embryo viability. We deal with the challenging problem of automatically segmenting the different blastomeres in the early embryo while simultaneously determining their depth, by processing a Z-stack of images acquired by means of an Hoffman Modulation Contrast (HMC) microscope. We discuss experimental results on 53 embryo image stacks, and elaborate on the advantages and limitations of our approach, also briefly describing it is being integrated in the workflow of an IVF laboratory.

This paper presents a feature point based image watermarking scheme to achieve binary digital image's imbedded and blind extraction. Firstly, the stable image feature points are extracted from the host image by using image normalization and the scale-invariant feature transform, which can resist toward desynchronization attacks. Then Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is used to the local feature regions(LFR). Finally, each LFR is embeds watermark. Experimental results show that the proposed image watermarking can resist both traditional signal processing attacks and geometric attacks. © 2011 ieee.

We propose an image stitching method which can compose the images with similar overlapped regions seamlessly. Traditional minimal error boundary (MEB) based method can't produce correct stitching result when the input images exist photometric inconsistency. To cope with the problem, we adopt the weighted sum of gradient and curvature as the robust feature, which represent the primary content of the images and are insensitive to photometric change and exposure difference, to match the overlapped regions. The optimal boundary can be found and the pixels of stitched image are taken from the input images in corresponding side of the boundary to form satisfactory result. Experiments are carried out to show effectiveness of the method. © 2010 ieee.
