Management solutions of hazardous materials transportation use in-vehicle embedded devices. Smartphones have had powerful edge computational capabilities at extremely feasible costs which encourage the development of many mobile applications, including vehicles accidents detection applications. Smartphone sensors associated with those applications support real-time tracking of vehicles and enable the detection of abnormal conditions. The integration of smartphone information with databases of vehicle traffic monitoring departments increases the speed of detecting potential accidents and allows interaction with drivers to determine transport schedules, restrictions, and possible route changes. So, the objective of this paper is to compare mobile applications using smartphone telemetry information. Results show these applications may reduce the effects caused by accidents involving the transport of hazardous materials, such as traffic jams, human health, and environmental damages.

Heterogeneous computing platforms running highly parallelized applications are becoming increasingly common in real-timeembedded systems. This demands for expressive task models that can capture parallelism, precedence constraints and self-suspending behavior caused by work-offloading on coprocessors, access to shared resources or synchronization between tasks running on different (heterogeneous) cores. The Event-Driven Delay-induced (EDD) task model was specifically designed to address these needs. Yet, to date, a single schedulability test for the EDD task model exists, and that test is limited to the analysis of fully-preemptive partitioned *** this work, we provide the first worst-case response time analysis for limited-preemptive EDD tasks that are globally scheduled on a multicore platform. Moreover, our evaluation results show that our analysis also outperforms the state-of-the-art response time analyses for both limited-preemptive DAG tasks and self-suspending tasks.
