Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are widely used in various applications due to their flexibility and reconfigurability, and they store the functionality of digital design in the form of configuration frames within the bitstream. In the earlier studies, state-of-art methodologies, such as BIL and RapidSmith reverse engineer the bitstream to identify the boolean logic of LUTs using the Xilinx ISE tool, which provides bitstream and textual information of placed design in the form of a Xilinx design Language (XDL) file. However, the more recent tool, Xilinx Vivado, does not include XDL support or text-based hardware adjustments. To resolve the above problem, here we introduce a methodology called REVBiT for LUT extraction and boolean logic identification that offers the potential to verify functionality against a trusted reference or rectify corrupted bitstream data by correcting it. Also, our propose methodology verified on AMD Xilinx 7-Series, Ultrascale and Ultrascale+ device families FPGAs using the Xilinx Vivado tool and does not rely on additional information besides the bitstream. We achieved 100% accuracy for the LUT extraction and 93.86%, 96.26%, and 95.16% accuracy for the boolean function identification for 7-Series, Ultrascale and Ultrascale+ device families, respectively.

This paper is concerned with the double sensitive fault detection filter for positive Markovian jump systems. A new hybrid adaptive event-triggered mechanism is proposed by introducing a non-monotonic adaptive law. A linear adaptive event-triggered threshold is established by virtue of 1-norm *** such a triggering strategy, the original system can be transformed into an interval uncertain system. By using a stochastic copositive Lyapunov function, an asynchronous fault detection filter is designed for positive Markovian jump systems(PMJSs) in terms of linear programming. The presented filter satisfies both L_-gain(?_-gain) fault sensitivity and L_1(?_1)internal differential privacy sensitivity. The proposed approach is also extended to the discrete-time case. Finally, two examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design.

In contemporary software engineering, business value and end user requirements are the primary drivers for design decisions. Ethical values such as fairness and sustainability, a key concern in green software engineering, are complementary, non-technical drivers addressed by value-based systemsengineering as, for instance, specified in ieee Standard 7000. Such process-centric initiatives explain what should be done but not how to get there. Practitioners are assumed to be able and willing to locate documents such as codes of conduct;document study is required ("pull"). A proactive, lightweight integration into existing agile practices, providing tangible on-the-job advice for developers and other stakeholders, is missing ("push"). Our research agenda addresses this problem area. Following a proactive approach, we propose to combine existing work to ease access to and consumption of ethical and green design knowledge for a world in which software systems are increasingly no longer passive tools for users but make autonomous decisions affecting human lives and the planet. In this short paper, we report on a completed and two emerging projects in this topic area in terms of their goals, preliminary results, and envisioned future work.

CubeSats have become an important component of space systemsengineering education and research activities across the globe. A variety of universities and government stakeholders have developed educational materials and coursework to train students to follow systemsengineering processes in developing these systems, but these materials generally recommend that students follow traditional, industry-derived systemsengineering processes without acknowledging the technical and managerial limitations of the workforce in an undergraduate learning environment. This research seeks to develop a more modern model-based systemsengineering approach that is tailored to the capabilities, time constraints, and resources typical of undergraduate space systemsdesign and development courses. The considerations for and procedures followed to develop these systemsengineering processes are presented here, and the results of implementation of these processes in successive cohorts of undergraduate students performing CubeSat design and development are presented. The results show a significant improvement in instructor and subject matter expert-assessed student learning and student performance. The causes of these results are elucidated with evidence of improved understanding of the systemsengineering process, and improved cohort-to-cohort information flow. The systemsengineering Handbook that is the subject and object of this study is available for other educators and students at https://***/10217/237534.
