While generative models such as text-to-image, large language models and text-to-video have seen significant progress, the extension to text-to-virtual-reality remains largely unexplored, due to a deficit in training data and the complexity of achieving realistic depth and motion in virtual environments. This paper proposes an approach to coalesce existing generative systems to form a stereoscopic virtual reality video from text. Carried out in three main stages, we start with a base text-to-image model that captures context from an input text. We then employ Stable Diffusion on the rudimentary image produced, to generate frames with enhanced realism and overall quality. These frames are processed with depth estimation algorithms to create left-eye and right-eye views, which are stitched side-by-side to create an immersive viewing experience. Such systems would be highly beneficial in virtual reality production, since filming and scene building often require extensive hours of work and post-production effort. We utilize image evaluation techniques, specifically Fréchet Inception Distance and CLIP Score, to assess the visual quality of frames produced for the video. These quantitative measures establish the proficiency of the proposed method. Our work highlights the exciting possibilities of using natural language-driven graphics in fields like virtual reality simulations.

At present, in most video captioning models, when extracting video key frames, the extracted video key frames not only contain a lot of redundancy resulting video frame features with small diversity, but also ignore the video semantic information. Due to the neglect of such uniqueness, a semantic based video key frame method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the initial video frames are extracted by combining the depth convolution network(CNN) and feature windowing. Secondly, this paper proposes to use the image captioning network to annotate the video frames and find the video key frames according to the semantic information. This method extracts the video key frames with more diversity and low redundancy. Then, we extracts the spatial, dynamic and regional features of the video to capture the potential context information in the video. Finally, we propose a pre-interactive LSTM model to effectively integrate text features, video features and context features, so as to solve the problem of context information loss and improve the annotation performance. Through the comparative experiment on MSR-VTT datasets, the results show that the proposed method improves by 1.2, 0.2, 0.1, 0.3 and 1.5 compared with the baseline model in terms of BLEU4, METEOR, ROUGE-L and CIDEr respectively, the MSVD datasets is improved by 2.2, 0.5, 0.4 and 4.4, which effectively improves the performance of video captioning. © 2022 ieee.

Cervical cancer affects the whole world today, being the fourth most common type of cancer diagnosed. The prevention methods applied standardized to the female population contribute to the reduction of incidence and mortality. Medical approaches include colposcopy, a way of visual inspection of the cervix, and identification of cervical, benign or malignant lesions. Being an analysis that depends entirely on the expertise of the medical professional who performs it, it can be improved by artificial methods. Deep learning has been successfully applied in the field of medical imaging and also in the classification of cervical lesions. In the presented paper, a set of convolutional networks for deep learning was used, consisting of a network with residues and a dense network, pre-trained on an extensive database and applied to a limited dataset. The assembly achieved accuracy on the validation set of 69%, improving the performance of individual models by 2 and 4 percent, respectively. The presented approach classifies 5 types of cervical lesions, the novelty lies in the extensive number of categories, since the literature addresses a more limited number.

As an intrinsic property of the electromagnetic wave, the Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) can be utilized in the future mobile communications. When OAM is applied in the traditional modulation and coding, the joint coding and modulation with the OAM dimension is required, which is considered as the research on the schemes of the OAM multiplex transmission. In this paper, the Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) with OAM is proposed based on physical property of OAM, which can be used for the optimization of the joint coding and modulation with OAM. In addition, according to whether or not the OAM is utilized as the independent dimension with orthogonality, two categories of OAM orthogonal and non-orthogonal models are established. Moreover, the detailed models of orthogonal domain and index domain are discussed and analyzed. The performances of Bit Error Rate (BER) and transmission capacity are evaluated, which confirms the capability of the proposed TCM in the corresponding signal processing with OAM. © 2021 ieee.

Cultural and creative products of historical Intangible cultural heritage are a special type of cultural and creative products. Retinal diseases are a visual disorder that can cause human vision problems, such as blindness and low vision. Early detection of this disease is important to prevent visual impairment. The identification of diseases relies heavily on the accurate separation of blood vessels inside the retina. Additionally, it is beneficial to administer prompt therapeutic interventions for life-threatening illnesses. In ophthalmology, segmentation of blood vessels is a major component of color retinal fundus images analysis for monitoring and diagnosing retinal diseases, like diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and arteriosclerotic. This process is effective to identify retinal diseases more accurately. This paper helps in segmentation of blood vessels in retinal images as it proposes a new method which is effective in removing noise and makes blood vessels in images clearer using machine learning techniques. This paper proposes the use of U-net with Extreme Learning Approach for blood vessel segmentation of retinal images. Moreover, this approach suites for processing small and unbalanced datasets.

This paper investigates multi-modal large language models (MLLMs) for predicting product features from images, comparing fine-tuned versus proprietary models. We introduce two domain-specific benchmarks: (1) Inductive Bias vs. image Evidence (IBIE) Benchmark, which evaluates MLLMs' ability to distinguish between image-derived features and latent knowledge, and (2) Catalog-bench, which assesses feature prediction using Catalog terminology. Our fine-tuned model outperforms proprietary models like Gemini by 9.4% and 29.13% on these benchmarks respectively. We address the crucial aspect of computational efficiency, exploring cost effective deployment solutions under limited hardware resources. The significance of this work extends beyond ecommerce to physical retail, where efficient MLLMs are essential for real-time processing of visual data from store cameras and shelf sensors. These models enable automated inventory management, produce quality monitoring, and planogram compliance while operating within in-store computing constraints. This capability is particularly valuable for physical retail environments where immediate decisions about restocking and quality control are critical, while also enabling real-time assistance to customers seeking information about product details, ingredients, and nutritional content.

In recent years, with the development of digital technology, digital image processing has been widely and deeply applied in the field of computer graphics. Digital image processing system is a complex real-time system, it from the camera, fax machine and other scanning equipment to obtain image information, after digital transformation, digital image information coding, filtering, enhancement, recovery, compression, storage and other processing, finally generate visual image. This design uses TMS320C6748 as the core processor of the system, SAA7113 as the video decoding chip of the system, CPLD as the sampling controller, DDR2 chip as the external expansion memory. The ROM expansion uses NAND flash memory chip. On the basis of hardware design, combined with software algorithm to complete image processing. The system can be used in information communication, image recognition, news scene and other fields of image processing and transmission. This paper analyzes the hardware structure and data processing algorithm of the system in detail. The experimental results show that the system can not only obtain higher compression ratio, but also reduce the distortion of the reconstructed image. The image processing system has certain practicability.

The liver disease it is considered a general public health problem, affecting alcoholic and nonalcoholic people, The alcohol problem it is the major cause of liver cirrhosis disease and to the nonalcoholic people his major problem it is the fatty liver disease, for this reason it is important for the medical specialist of liver diseases, to get an image processing tool that can be obtain results of the liver disease problem (fatty liver, steatohepatitis or cirrhosis), identifying the kind of disease and the percent of affectation of the liver problem obtained by the patient. The existing measurement methods of coaxiality of rectangular spline shaft include rotation axis method, coordinate method and V-frame method. These methods belong to the contact measurement, which are low measurement efficiency and can not realize the real-time on-line measurement of coaxiality of rectangular spline shaft. In this paper, a visual measurement method of coaxiality of rectangular spline shaft based on image processing is proposed, and it is an active non-contact measurement method. The on-line measurement of coaxiality of rectangular spline shaft is achieved, and its feasibility is verified by experiments, therefore the robustness of coaxiality measurement of rectangular spline shaft is improved. © 2021 ieee
