The protection of data is of at most importance in the medical field to boost the telemedicine *** is a need of robust and secure mechanism to transfer the medical images over the *** algorithm proposed in this study is the watermarking technique in the transform domain to ensure secure transfer of medical *** DWT transformation and substitution method,we embed the watermark into the cover image and the watermarked image is then encrypted by using the symmetric stream cipher *** of the proposed algorithm is analyzed against various signal processing attacks like compression,filtering,noise and histogram equalization and desired outcome is obtained without much degradation in extracted watermark and watermarked image quality.

The Reversible Data Hiding (RHD) is the one of the useful technologies to solve the issues in multimedia security. The lossless data hiding is the most promising data technique; it needs to provide the complete data with a cover media after embedded data is retrieved. For solving this issue, reversible data masking method like Versatile Speed Correlation Vector (VFCVQ) compressed images have been proposed. The two main concerns about data masking are the ability to hide and stereo image quality. The higher efficiency of the VFCVQ images sends more confidential data. A VFCVQ compressed image means it will store the secret data with the original image size, and it will keep avoiding the unwanted attention of the compressed image. The scheme proposed an RHD method based on the concept of a VFCVQ. The proposed coding system uses a specific value to determine the ability to embed confidential data into an image and creates a VFCVQ encoded image or output compressed code stream. Progression of integrating a sensitive data with an original VFCVQ encoded images will be retrieved when output is needed. The proposed method will be implemented to process the secret data using three ways progress which is typically identical in a VFCVQ encoded image; initially the system obtained four-layer connection for embedding the data bit, second it uses the Hierarchical Code-Code Mapping (HSCM) reconstruction to match the first word's encoded-word in image, Finally it will calculate the difference between the new code of the two adjacent blocks, After progressing all of this procedure the encryption of secret bit data values are analyses with each compressed output block. The proposed system is executed in the MATLAB simulation environment; the result of an output data is compared with the proposed methods with previous RHD techniques. The performance analysis of the proposed RHD techniques provides an efficient in terms of like compression ratio 39.2 (%), embedding rate 1.50 (kb), PSNR

The effective transmission and sampling of clinical images are important research areas in computer science, particularly in the healthcare industry. Methods such as personal area networking and body area networking are valuable for medical monitoring systems used in remote surgical guidance and early emergency detection. However, due to the sensitive nature of medical images, strong privacy protection and secure data aggregation/compression techniques are needed. In this study, we use compressive sensing theory to address these challenges with a novel approach. Our technique reduces the size of medical photos by $10 \%$, while maintaining strong secrecy through the use of additive homomorphic encryption.

Data hiding approaches in Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) compression that use discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients are gaining popularity due to their capacity to integrate more data into JPEG pictures while producing perceptible aesthetic deterioration. Reversible data concealing is critical for safe data transport and secrecy. This study presents a novel reversible information concealing strategy based on DCT coefficients in the overall setting of compressed JPEG data. The procedure starts with the intake of hosting pictures and the image meant for hiding. Using DCT's time domain evaluation, the host picture is examined to discover suitable spots for integrating binary data. A binary threshold is used to choose appropriate brightness ranges for DCT coefficients for smooth and undetectable data implantation. To improve the embedding process, a binary scale operation is performed on the picture intended for data concealment. This scaling not only maximizes the use of available embedding space but also reduces potential visual distortion, resulting in an overall enhancement in the scheme's resilience and profitability. In addition, equalizing the histogram is used to equalize the pixel intensities of the background and concealed pictures, increasing consistency and improving the overall optical level of the assembled image. Chaotic encryption is used throughout the procedure to certify the protection of the embedded informations. The contained binary data may be precisely recovered from the changed DCT values, enabling a complete recuperation of the original host picture as well as the hidden information. The findings show that the approach can accomplish bidirectional data hiding inside JPEG compression, with encrypted pictures visualizing the effective incorporation of hidden data. This project is powered by MATLAB software.

The transmission of images over wireless channels is increasing with advances in wireless communication technologies. However, ensuring secure and efficient transmission is a major challenge because intrusive receivers may be present, wireless channels have high bit error rates and limited bandwidth. This paper proposes a wireless transmission scheme for encrypted images to establish reliable and robust communications. The proposed scheme comprises on the transmitter side, encryption, compression, channel coding and modulation, and their inverse processes at the receiver. The Discrete Wavelet Transformed and the Huffman coding are employed for image compression, whereas convolutional coding is used as a technique for error correction. The system is implemented with the USRP NI-2920 modules and LabVIEW Communications 2.0 software, allowing the transmission of encrypted images both in real and simulated environments. The results show that the proposed system is robust and efficient against channel degradation.

Transmission of critical data over the link, in the presence of an attacker has augmented the demand for secure communication. Particularly in the military field, exchange of classified images has to be executed with extreme caution. Advanced digital technologies require encryption, authentication and key distribution techniques to facilitate reliable and secure communication. In this paper, Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) Sub-band Exchange based color image fusion scheme for enhanced security is proposed. In this method, the horizontal and vertical sub-bands of two colored images are replaced by chrominance information of each other. This permits generation of uniquely fused gray-scale textured images. This method facilitates fused images which are extremely difficult to intercept by the attacker, since the probability of getting hold on all the information pertaining to one single image is negligible. Also, this method offers reduced bandwidth utilization and less transmission time as it converts colored images to compressed textured gray-scale images. In addition to proposing a novel image fusion technique and compression scheme, this paper illustrates detailed analysis of the algorithm.

In today's world accessibility and trade of advance digital information over the web is of key significance. Security and verification of digital information, including digital images, is one of the greatest concerns. For this specific reason, in this paper we propose a non-blind watermarking technique for self-recovery and authentication of hidden images against unauthorized tampering by utilizing the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and the Arnold's Transform. Due to the nature of the Discrete Wavelet Transform, DWT-based watermarking schemes, in general, have the hidden images size limited to up to 1/4 of the carrier image size; that is, for example, for a 256×56-carrier image the size of the hidden images is usually up to 128×128. In this paper, we show how the proposed DWT-based technique (a) has a moderately high capacity capability as it allows hidden images of the same size as that of the carrier image, (b) uses a self-recovery framework for watermarking and information hiding that allows embedding twice the number of correction matrices as in prior related work. This makes the proposed non-blind technique equipped with about twice as much capability of self-recovery from unauthorized tampering as in prior work, (c) allows unauthorized tampering localization and recovery against unauthorized tampering such as image cropping, blurring, pixel tampering, (d) utilizes all three-color channels of a carrier image for watermarking and information hiding, and (e) adds security in the secret hidden image information. Experimental results are presented to show the potential value of the proposed non-blind method for multiple information hiding of same size and the carrier image, tampering detection/localization, authentication, and tampering self-recovery, including cropping, and robustness of the proposed scheme to JPEG compression and encryption, and other unauthorized tampering.

This paper describes a new high performance Earth Observation Platform, the SSTL-300, which has been developed to provide customers with a capability that has previously only been available at much higher cost and on larger platforms. This platform offers a 7-year mission lifetime with a very high operational availability. The main payload is a very high-resolution imager (VHRI) with a panchromatic 2.5 m ground sampling distance (GSD) channel and four multi-spectral channels offering 5 m GSD. The imager swath is 20 km in all channels. This imager is an extension of the 4 m GSD imager already flying on Beijing-1, which was launched in October 2005. Additional payloads can be accommodated, such as the Medium Resolution imager (MRI), offering lower resolution of 22 m or 32 m GSD in four multiple spectral bands with 300 km swath width. The 32 m MRI has already flown on four previous Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC) Missions. High performance geo-location is provided, the performance of which is dependent on the chosen subsystem options. Simultaneous imaging is possible with the VHRI and the MRI and scenes can be as long as 2000 km. The image data is compressed on-board, using lossless data compression, for store-and-forward operations. Furthermore, switchable encryption is available, using the Data encryption Standard (DES), on the TM/TC as well as switchable scrambling on payload data. Near real-time imaging & down-linking is possible for a range of targets close to the ground station. A range of imaging modes are available including: strip mapping, fast response scene capture, stereo imaging, with pitch angles between 10 and 45deg to provide digital elevation models, and increased area coverage to provide wide-swath high-resolution imagery of up to 85 km. The nominal orbit for the SSTL-300 will be sun-synchronous, with a 10.30 am node to provide repeatable global coverage and good lighting conditions. The growing number of planned Earth Observation (EO) satellites, together with the increase in payload resolution and swath, brings to the fore the generation of unprecedented volumes of data that needs to be downloaded, processed and distributed with low latency. This creates a severe bottleneck problem, which overloads ground infrastructure, communications to ground, and hampers the provision of EO products to the End User with the required performances. The European H2020 EO-ALERT project (http://***/), proposes the definition of next-generation EO missions by developing an on-board high speed EO data processing chain, based on a novel flight segment architecture that moves optimised key EO data processing elements from the ground segment to on-board the satellite. EO-ALERT achieves, globally, latencies below five minutes for EO products delivery, reaching latencies below 1 minute in some scenarios. The proposed architecture solves the above challenges through a combination of innovations in the on-board elements of the data chain and the communications link. Namely, the architecture introduces innovative technological solutions, including on-board reconfigurable data handling, on-board image generation and processing for generation of alerts (EO products) using Artificial Intelligence (AI), high-speed on-board avionics, on-board data compression and encryption using AI and reconfigurable high data rate communication links to ground including a separate chain for alerts with minimum latency and global coverage. Those key technologies have been studied, developed, implemented in software/hardware (SW/HW) and verified against previously established technologies requirements to meet the identified user needs. In the present day context, users are making use of public storage services in the cloud and local storage devices such as CD's and DVD's. Fortunately, with the advancement in the techniques of compression and encryption it will become possible to store data equivalent to CD's or DVD's on a piece of paper in the near future. The applications are to well-established recording technologies, including magnetic tape and magnetic disk systems as well as CD/DVD/Blue-Ray optical data-storage systems. This technique is named as RAINBOW TECHNOLOGY. It is named as such since it mainly uses colors, color combinations and geometric shapes to store the data elements. The Rainbow technology is feasible because the output is in the form of printed text, which is readable by human eyes. By printing the encoded in a denser way, much higher capacities can be achieved. Paper is, of course, bio-degradable, unlike CDs or DVDs and sheets of paper also cost a fraction of the cost of a CD & DVD.
