The Semantic Programming Language (SPL) employs concepts and its relationships in ontology to specify the data used within a process and implements data flow via semantic variables. Therefore, one of the most challenging aspects in Semantic Web Services orchestration realized by SPL is transforming ontological represented data into XML data with equivalent meaning. In This paper, we propose an Ontology-Based transformation approach for the SPL program, which offers an effective solution to convert semantically enriched data into a common XML data structure. And we also introduce the concept of semantic data adapter for this transformation during deployment time and run time. Instead of coming up with proprietary solutions, programmers should be able to rely on this transformation method for specifying data manipulation declaratively and benefit from the ontological knowledge.

A novel hybrid-genetic-algorithm process in multi-objective parallel mode (NHMGA), operated for tracking a 2-period-BP model-mapping, supported by optimally equipped Grid-computing framework, is proposed. This NHMGA is specially designed for personal on-line and real-time bio-information modeling which is successfully applied in soft-sensing of blood-glucose. The related application example and its result analysis are described. Owing to the non-invasive soft-sensing based on the NHMGA which possesses the advantages, such as resource-sharing, high speed and accuracy of function approach, flexible real-time model-tracking, the number of blood-taking-times of every patient with serious diabetes can be reduced onto 30% of the original one per day, thus the on-line-diagnosis-medical-measurement based on the NHMGA is very strongly valued in asia and Europe, and sequentially developed in the CAD-grid (CAD-G) 2# (¿China-Austria-Data-Grid¿-cooperation-project) which supports the NHMGA using a Grid-computing framework optimally equipped by workflow engine WEEP, and CEFSP 200805# (Chinese Education Foundation Science Project) which developed the NHMGA tool-software realized in a PC-embedded-FPGA-system (PEF) , thus, the NHMGA is facing a wide application future linked with the fields such as real-time tracking, analyzing, diagnosis and control of bio-information process, industrial automation process, natural synusiologic process.

This paper presents a new mathematical definition of straight-line optical flow. By using 21 straight-line optical flows in 3 consecutive image frames, a set of equations about 3D motion parameters are established to obtain 12 motion parameters of 3D object and coordinates of the 3D straight line. Usually, it is difficult to find the 21 straight lines on correspondence. In this paper, a minimum of 6 straight-line optical flows in 3 consecutive image frames is required to obtain 12 motion parameters of 3D object and coordinates of the 3D straight line, by solving non-linear equations. With the parameters and coordinates a 3D scene can be reconstructed.

A sufficient amount of studies worldwide prove an interrelation linking students' learning productivity, emotional and psychological state to physiological parameters. Emotional states and the interest in learning affect learning productivity, while physiological parameters demonstrate such changes. Since the research by the authors of the present article confirmed these interdependencies, a Recommender System to Analyse Student's Learning Productivity (Recommender System hereafter) has been developed. The Recommender System uses the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and the database of the best global practices to come up with recommendations for students how to improve their learning efficiency. Worldwide research includes various scientists who conducted in-depth studies on the different and very important areas in the field. We did not find any systems which would take physiological parameters of students, analyse their learning efficiency and, in turn, provide recommendations. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.

Vehicle platooning is very effective technology for safely increasing the traffic capacity of the road network. When the platooning vehicles and the normal vehicles run together, the platooning vehicles should control the inter-vehicle distance with different rules for the normal vehicle. In this study, the vehicle velocity control model is defined according to the car-following model. Then validity of the model is discussed in computer simulation and experiment of LEGO MINDSTORM EV3. The results showed that the proposed model can control the velocity adequately.

Robot path planning problem is one of most important task mobile robots. This paper proposes an original approach using a path description by string of cubic splines. Such path is easy executable and natural for car-like robot. Furthermore, it is possible to ensure smooth derivation in connections of particular splines. In this case, the path planning is equivalent to optimization of parameters of splines. An evolutionary technique called particle swarm optimization (PSO) was used hereunder due to its relatively fast convergence and global search character. Various settings of PSO parameters were tested and the best setting was compared to two classical mobile robot path planning algorithms.

This paper provides guidelines for designing bus transit simulations and justifies the need of a qualitatively and quantitatively correct model that is validated and can serve as a benchmark testing platform for the numerous optimisation strategies that researchers *** describes and comments on some of the most important contributions regarding bus transportation control and optimisation from a modelling ***,a case study concerning a bus line in Singapore is conducted where smart card data is used to extract the parameters needed in order to construct the model,while discussing the methods and challenges of this ***,the simulation is calibrated and validated in order to ensure maximum accuracy of its outputs.
