In this paper, an algorithm of automatically composing web services is present with rules mapping, in which an ontology model about I/O parameters from web services was built, and a mapping table was created which associated inputs with outputs parameters as rules. From the mapping rules all possible composition paths that meet the condition can be found out by search backward. At last the optimal composition path was selected to response users according to QoS level. The simulation experiment indicates this approach can fast find out all expected composition paths and reduce search space and time.

Efficient spectrum allocation in Open Spectrum Management is a challenging problem. In this paper, we propose a novel scheme to promote the spectrum utilization by decomposing the second users into non-overlapping clusters. To accomplish the partitioning, we employ a technique from algebraic graph theory known as Spectral Graph Partitioning (SGP). Based on this iterative method, the secondary users can be divided with the balanced radio resource. Then, the spectrum allocation algorithm can be performed distributively. Experiment result shows that our method effectively improves the performance of spectrum allocation.

The integration of Planning and Scheduling (P&S) and Workflow is a significant challenge for knowledge acquisition in planning and scheduling. There has been some work on the definition of workflow that allowed non-experts entering knowledge on the organization process to be used in planning and scheduling. To date, however, temporal constraints handled in the workflow model for planning and scheduling has been little explored. This paper describes a means to exploit workflow patterns in modeling of planning and scheduling. And temporal constraints are presented and propagated on an associated Simple Temporal Network in order to check temporal consistency in the modeling phase. We also propose a graphic modeling tool. It helps users to modeling and acquiring knowledge conveniently.

The network reconfiguration optimal control in distribution networks is modeled as a multi-objective combinational optimization. Multiple objectives are considered for load balancing among the feeders, minimum deviation of the nodes voltage, minimize the power loss and branch current constraint violation. Based on the objectives evaluated by membership functions respectively. These objectives are modeled with fuzzy sets to evaluate their imprecise nature and one can provide the anticipated value of each objective. We propose a new Fuzzy Preferences Multi-Objective Approach to solve it. Simulation results demonstrated that the proposed method is effective in improving performance.

Collaborative ant colony algorithm (ACA) was presented for Railway Optimal Stowage Problem with Category Restriction (ROSPCR). Having distinguished the differences of specific volume between the used loading capacity and the remained, a new ACA is devised. Then improvement concerning the rules of route construction and pheromone updating is adopted on the basis of former algorithm to optimize the loading capacity and volume of vehicles, besides the least number of vehicles needed in various conditions, thus making the algorithm a more practical one. Finally an example is put forward and analyzed, proving that the ACA designed in this paper is feasible and efficient in determining the optimal loading plan with ROSPCR.

As a teaching method, a dish movement model based on DEM is presented by the paper, and is then used as a bridge on the transformation of the demonstration trajectory to the planned trajectory regarding pot movement. Some indicators are introduced to evaluate the effect of the dish movement in the pot. The trajectories of the given mechanism are off-line designed, and then as the input to the model the indicators corresponding to each trajectory are got, and eventually a table of trajectories versus indicators is obtained. When teaching, the changes of the location and attitude of the pot are measured, and are then used as the input to the model to calculate the indicators, which are lastly matched with those in the table, and the trajectory corresponding to the best matched is taken as the teaching result. An example is showed at the end of the paper, and validates the method.

In order to validate the time performance of remote controllable cruise missile campaign system, it introduces an Agent-oriented Timed Colored Petri Nets (AOTCPN) modeling method for architecture simulation, and a transform method used to obtain executable AOTCPN model from the static architecture model descript by AUML (Agent Unified Modeling Language). Focusing on the workflow of retargeting cruise missile for emergent target, the whole closed loop operation simulation and delay-time analysis is made via the execution of its AOTCPN model, and the control scheme feasibility is validated.
