This paper, we propose a new design of linear descriptor discrete time mechanical system control law by using model following control system (MFCS). In previous studies, a method of MFCS was proposed by S. Okubo. In this paper, the method of MFCS will be extended to discrete time descriptor mechanical system. The bounded property of internal states for control system is given and utility of this control design is guaranteed. In this case, a new criterion is proposed to ensure that internal states are stable.

The key problem in restoration of motion blurred images is how to get the point spread function and the noise information. It is commonly assumed as the white Gaussian noise. The paper proposes a method for estimating the variance of noise in uniform linear motion blurred images. A superposition operator on the difference of the motion-blurred image is used to produce a noise-dominated image. This method can keep noise in different columns of the noise-dominated image irrelevant. There lies numerical relationship between the variance of superposition and original noise. The variance of original noise can be computed by using the numerical relationship. Experiments prove that the noise power can be computed accurately by utilizing this method.

To solve capacitated vehicle routing problems (CVRP), a modified differential evolution (MDE) was employed, which was derived from the differential evolution (DE) and incorporated with the genetic reproduction mechanisms, namely crossover and mutation. The Greedy Subtour Crossover (GSX) was employed to generate an offspring to denote the difference of the parents. A modified ordered crossover (MOX) was employed to perform mutation to generate trial vector with user defined parameters, the parameters were used to control the rates of the target vector components and the mutated vector components in the trial vector. Moreover, the 2-opt local search was implemented to optimize the sub routings. MDE was implemented to the well-known CVRP benchmarks. The simulation results have shown the feasibility and the effectiveness of the approach.

This paper proposes a new method with a three-level architecture named tactics template (TT) for tactical aircraft attack path planning and optimization. Distinguished from the traditional path planning algorithms, the TT method extends the ability to deal with tactics and actions rather than trajectories, which maintains the benefits of traditional path planning algorithms while well-satisfying pilot's need. As a preliminary study, the TT method is analyzed and tested under the conditions of single aircraft releasing conventional bombs. However, this method is applicable to more complex cases and other potential application areas.

Rolling process is a complex system. This paper analyzes the production process of rolling based on multi-agent technology, and generalizes four types agent, namely, travelling crane agent, heating furnace agent, buffer agent and rolling mill agent, which is devoted to the use of Petri Nets for modeling and describing of dynamic systems. Then, a Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) model is developed. Moreover, communication model is designed to prove that the MAS can exactly represent the actual situation. In this paper, an efficient algorithm U-CPSQ is used to handle continuous probabilistic skyline queries. The main idea is as following: Firstly, according to the new probabilistic dominance relation defined in this paper, it is possible for us to compute the skyline probability for any points and get the initial p-skyline. Secondly, two types of events affecting p-skyline are defined, by tracking and calculating those events, the p-skyline can be updated with high-speed. An extensive experiment has been conducted which indicates that our algorithm is efficient. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work on continuous probabilistic skyline queries for uncertain moving objects.

Nonlinear constrained problem has been deemed as a hard problem. This paper proposes a kind of evolutionary algorithm for constrained programming. The constrained conditions are converted into an objective and then the constrained programming is transformed into a special bi-objective unconstrained problem. The Pareto concept of multiobjective programming is introduced, then crossover operator using uniform designing method and feasible mutation operator are designed to solve this kind of bi-objective unconstrained programming. The detailed procedure of the algorithm based on two objectives is proposed. Five standard benchmarks are applied to verify the validity of the algorithm. The feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm are shown by comparing with other two algorithms.
