In order to avoid the oscillation of duty ratio perturbation method and make full use of solar arrays power, after establishing a model of the solar array, analyzing its input and output characteristics, and discussing the concept and principles of peak power tracking (PPT), we use fuzzy controller to modify three parameters of PID controller to modify the step of duty ratio to track the maximum power point of solar array. The simulation results show that the method can quickly and accurately track the MPP, decreases the oscillation and improve the efficiency of energy conversion of solar array.

This paper describes a design of a language learning support environment using handwritten annotation. The system supports the learning using conversation video which is recorded in the student daily life. The system enables the sharing and playing of learning contents among the teacher and students in the class. The teacher and students can annotate the learning contents. This paper presents an extensible software framework for embedded system modeling on a distributed platform. Actors are concurrent components to specify time-triggered sensor readings, task invocations, actuator updates, and pattern switches independent of any given platform. Composite actor can be arbitrarily nested and framework consists of a formal semantics by separating platform-independent concerns from platform-dependent concerns, separating functionality concerns from timing concerns. Time-triggered predictability of actor-oriented framework makes it possible to automate the validation and synthesis of embedded control software for safety-critical applications with hard real-time constraints.

For sophisticated background, a fast and self-adaptive face detection algorithm based on skin color is introduced. In this algorithm, histogram skin color model was built with great amount of skin color pixels in HS color space first, and then skin color segmentation was made to images by using histogram backprojection, in which a binary image of skin color area was obtained after thresholding. Morphological and Blob analysis were used to make further optimization to the segmentation result. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can detect faces with different sizes, rotations and expressions under different illumination conditions fast and accurately.

In order to find a more effective method of solving the problem of subjectivity and difficulty to deal with the high-dimension data in the clustering, a new method---an improved PP (Projection Pursuit) based on Ant Colony Optimization algorithm (ACO) was introduced. The ant colony optimization algorithm has the strong global optimization ability and the PP method is a powerful technique for extracting statistically significant features from high-dimension data for automatic target detection and classification. The ant colony optimization algorithm was employed to optimize the function of the projected indexes in the PP. Application results show that the method can complete the selection more objectivity and rationality with objective weight, high resolving power, and stable result.

Precise modeling of switched reluctant motor (SRM) is important of switched reluctant motor driving system. In the article, modeling of SRM by a BP neural network with parallel chaotic search (PCS) is presented firstly. Here parallel chaotic search is proposed to optimize vectors of weight and threshold. Modified BP neural network has been improved in convergence, generalizing and network scale for real time control. Based on the results of simulation, the nonlinear modeling of SRM has performed better, which has faster convergence and improved in efficiency.

This paper proposes hybrid unscented particle filter for integrated navigation system of vehicle which have characteristics of long-time moving and frequent changes in dynamic performance and different non-linear and non-Gauss characteristics. The algorithm combined with zero velocity updates method (ZUPT) and effectively reduced the error of different vehicle's dynamic characteristics based on the integrated navigation system of vehicle. The test result show the method effectively to improved positioning accuracy and the error accumulation of vehicle.

This paper sets up an analysis model of urban rail transit arrangement based on the application of Delphi and Analytical Hierarchy Process and analyzes the shortcomings of analytic hierarchy process. Furthermore, this paper proposes a design of a more comprehensive and more scientific evaluation index system of urban rail transit performance assessment. The proposed system calculates every index weight using the weighting method-G l , which is based on differential principle, It appraises comprehensive performance using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Verification of the proposed system was done by conducting an experiment using the Shanghai rail transit systems to measure its performance status., Results provide the theoretical foundation for development and correction of Shanghai urban rail transit system.

To ensure the security of the entire air-launched carrier rockets system is an important issue in the research work. As the most expensive part of the system, the numerical simulation of the dynamic characteristics of the aircraft plays an important role. Dynamic equations of aircraft and its cargo during flight are derived in detail and dynamic models are established in accordance to the basic principles of theoretical mechanics and flight dynamics. The dynamic models are then utilized for the simulation of the process of the system. By comparing the simulation results and the real flight test measurements, the models are verified to be correct and precise. The dynamic characteristic of the aircraft under various conditions is also analyzed.

A more simpler-to-solve approach to H ∞ output feedback control for singular systems is proposed in this paper. Base on Projection lemma and Finsler's lemma combined with linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, strict LMI conditions are derived, under which the resulting closed-loop system guarantees the admissibility as well as a desire H ∞ performance level γ via static and dynamic output feedback, respectively. The proposed sufficient conditions do not require a state-coordinate transformation for the system, in the meantime, the decomposition of Lyapunov matrix and its inverse matrix is not introduced. The theoretical results are verified by means of an example.
