With the development of the computer network, and the great change in the demands of network management, any Network Management System is a process of development and perfection. Therefore, designing a rational system structure is the foundation to ensure the good scalability of the system. The main issues and characteristics of Network Management in Campus Network at present were analyzed in the thesis, and the system structure of Network Management in Campus Network were discussed, which includes data collecting layer, centralized-processing layer, network management layer, service management layer. The basic network management system framework of campus network based on Web and its deployment method were also proposed in this paper, which cover the most of the demand for network management. The framework has a good scalability, which lay the foundation for the development of Network Management System in campus network.

The development and design of new energy-saving system of electro-hydraulic power steering (EHPS) has extensive application prospect. EHPS system is analyzed by using energy flow method, system model based on energy cost is established, and relevant compute simulation is performed. Tests are carried out on the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) bench. The results showed that system voltage supply, PWM duty cycle, pump capability, tie rod force, and steering ratio are different degree impact on energy cost. This study will provide a theoretical reference and practice guidance for developing and designing energy-saving EHPS system.

As remote sensing images are multi-sensor, multi-spectral, multi-temporal phase and multi-resolution, general image segmentation methods always can not obtain satisfactory results. In this paper, we introduce the statistical region merging (SRM) model to segment remote sensing images. And according to the characteristics and defects of SRM, the model is improved as follows: Firstly, image gradient information is added in the sort function, which can increase the differences between regions; Secondly, we combine SRM with the nonlinear diffusion which can protect borders, then the requirements of regional homogeneity are better meted, and the model's anti-noise ability is also strengthened; Thirdly, for the issue of SRM has over merging defect, we give a predicate, by which the over merging regions are chosen and then segmented by IAC. Experiments on two color remote sensing images display the quality of the novel method.

Energy efficiency and data reliability have always been the key problem in WSN. In this paper, firstly, a selection of cluster head algorithm is designed which is able to detect the energy change of nodes, rapidly ascertain new cluster head, and avoid excessive energy consumption between cluster head and cluster nodes. Secondly, differentiated service is introduced in our algorithm which makes achieve higher data reliability. Finally, evaluating our algorithm reliability and energy consumption, the simulation results show that it obtains higher data reliability, and simultaneously achieves lower energy consumption.

The advance of wireless and mobile technologies has enabled students to learn in an environment that combines learning resources from both the real world and the digital world. Although such an approach has been recognized to be innovative and important, several problems have been revealed in practical learning activities. One major problem is owing to the lack of proper learning strategies or tools for assisting the students to acquire knowledge in such a complex learning scenario. Students might feel excited or absorbed when using the mobile devices to learn in the real context; nevertheless, their learning achievements could be disappointing. To deal with this problem, this study presents a mobile learning system that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to detect and examine real-world learning behaviors of students and provide personalized learning guidance accordingly. Experimental results from a natural science course of an elementary school show that this innovative approach is able to improve the learning achievements of students as well as enhance their learning motivation.

In order to monitor the leakage of hazardous chemicals and guarantee the safety of people in hazardous areas, we developed RESRS (Robot Emergency Search and Rescue System). RESRS integrated technologies such as mobile robot and WSN (Wireless Sensor Network). The mobile robots in the system act as mobile nodes of WSN. We describe the components of the generic RESRS's architecture in detail. A small-scale demonstration experiment was presented to highlight the concept and application of the RESRS to an actual chemical accident. Although our proposed system architecture provides a versatile framework for integration, a number of new and interesting research problems need to be solved before actual deployment of the system.

In current Internet applications, naming is constructed by the location of host and the resource in the host, and name resolution mapping system is constructed by a treelike domain name system (DNS). These architectures has some shortcomings, such as not supporting data migration and replication, vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Researchers have proposed a DHT-based flat structure to achieve naming and name resolution mapping. to deals with the shortcomings of DNS above, but it introduces a new problem that the resolution time cost is too large that users often can not tolerate this long delay. In this paper, we present an improved structure called Hierarchical Name System (HNS) by combining the advantages of DNS and DHT. The architecture of HNS is a two-layer's structure, namely top-layer which maintains the global information and bottom-layer which maintains local information. Owning to the location information, the resolution delay is greatly reduced while the shortcomings of DNS have been eliminated.

To solve data alignment problem of multi-platform multi-sensor on the sea, a multi-sensor data alignment method based on relative bearing and range is proposed. Using the measurements of relative bearing and range among the maritime platforms, the targets' positions measured are transformed in the sensor relative bearing cordinates of a platform, and the sensor alignment is achieved. The method above can be implemented by means of two coordinate transformation approachs. The alignment mechanisms and mathematical models of both approachs are discussed. Through several simulation scenarios, the precision of two transformation approachs are analysed and campared. Simulation results are employed to decide two approachs' applicable environment according to the precision requirements of establishing the fire-control-level situation.

At present, network services have covered complex applications and value-added services, and service providers also need to consider service quality for customers' satisfaction. The equipment performance and faults directly affect the quality of service. Therefore, analyzing the relationship of service performance (the traffic distribution, transmission delay etc.), the network performance and faults based on some typical applications is of great significance. This paper builds typical MAN (metropolitan area network) topologies and fault scenarios which carrying VoIP application. Through simulation, performance data collection and mining, the association between network performance and faults will be found as the important foundation of association recognition between network faults and service quality.

During the process of Resources & Environment Remote Sensing geological survey, It got a large amount of digital geospatial information, but there has been some potential problems and deficiency in it: (1) shortage of unified-planed running environment; (2) inconsistent methods of data integration; (3) Different ways of constructing system. In order to solve these problems and with the aim of improving the level of geological survey and social services, the basis of data support system and technical support system named by Geospatial Data Cyber-Infrastructure is required urgently. It utilized the Geological Information Metadata Standard set by China Geological Survey in 2005 and web service architecture to establish a unified platform of integration and management of meta-database and spatial-database and gave you access to distributed geospatial information.
