The big data platform supports powerful data retrieval and mining analysis, providing users with seamless access to extensive data for valuable insights. However, the increasing access to sensitive data raises privacy concerns. Existing studies utilize access control mechanisms to ensure secure data authorization. Nevertheless, previous approaches are deficient in facilitating risk control during real-time query processing and fail to elucidate the details of attack access. To address these limitations, we propose a novel Interpretable Risk-aware Access control (IRAAC) for Spark - the advanced distributed engine for large-scale data computing in big data ecosystems. IRAAC utilizes the sequence representation techniques and contrastive learning idea from Natural Language Processing to learn patterns of attack queries for extracting critical attack subqueries. In terms of attack investigation, IRAAC designs specific templates to encourage large language models (LLMs) to provide a comprehensive delineation of potential query access risks.

In higher education institutions graduation project students, selecting an appropriate methodology is one of the most challenging and complex choices. Furthermore, some students haven't experience and knowledge in the methods that should be used to complete their graduation projects. This paper proposes and highlights one of the most important methodologies used recently in the design of computer network called PPDIOO model (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize). This methodology is a clear strategy that engineers, and computer network specialists must follow in order to design an integrated computer network. The main contribution of this paper is to assist students in networking departments with their graduation projects, ensuring they meet their requirements accurately and without errors. For supervisors and students who used PPDIOO methodology, questionnaires have been published to assess the quality and efficacy of this methodology. Positive feedback was received regarding the effectiveness of all the students who used the model, and it was highly satisfying.

The study investigates the efficacy of Model Predictive control (MPC) and its integration with Hysteresis Band Pulse Width Modulation (HB-PWM) for voltage regulation in a Three-Phase Inverter with an Output RLC Filter. A novel voltage prediction scheme is proposed within the MPC framework to foresee forthcoming load voltage dynamics. The control behaviors of HB-PWM and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques are analyzed in conjunction with the designed load model. Performance evaluation of MPC, HB-PWM, and PWM is conducted, focusing on enhancing current and voltage stability, minimizing Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and optimizing frequency spectrum characteristics. The study employs MATLAB/SIMULINK for the implementation and simulation of all control methodologies.

Vertebrate flyers perform intermittent flights as bounding or oscillating flights for power management. Intermittent flights and the resulting oscillating height during flapping and soaring provide the means of increasing speed without increasing flapping speed. These maneuvers and their robotic biomimicry have remained unexplored so far, which, if understood, can lead to aerial robot designs with endured flight operations. This works attempts to achieve robotic bounding flight using Northeastern's Aerobat platform. Aerobat can dynamically morph its wings by collapsing them rapidly during each gaitcycle. We present a launcher designed that allows bounding flight experimentation of Aerobat in a computer-aided fashion. We augmented Aerobat with a plural tiny thruster to stabilize its unstable roll, pitch, and yaw dynamics. This paper presents our control design based on extending Aerobat's states to accommodate unobservable aerodynamic forces and offers experimental results to support our proposed approach.
