This paper presents a bandwidth utilization analysis and internet application usage for Technical and Vocational education and Training (TVET) education on the Metro-E campus network. Despite upgrading high-speed Internet from 50Mbps to 150Mbps, the campus is still experiencing internet link congestion, affecting the Quality of Services (QoS). Campus QoS was analyzed, and data was collected over three months on a campus Metro-E network at the primary Internet gateway. The results show the bandwidth consumption for the Integrated Performance modeling Environment (IPME). Inbound network capacity usage peaks at 100% and then drops to 30% of available capacity, demonstrating that the network experiences both high and low demand times. However, Unifi broadband shows that inbound data usage ranges from 72% to 100%. The high demand for inbound Unifi traffic could suggest a critical service or a strong reliance on Unifi for inbound communication. PERDA-TECH students use most of the total 22014300.81MB of inbound data from online applications. They use these internet apps for E-learning and online simulation, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook for multimedia and creative learning, and FTP applications for transferring files across websites or enhancing information. This research is significant in deploying QoS bandwidth management, policing, and shaping future QoS for TVET education on the Metro-E campus network. © 2024 IEEE.

In a combat simulation system with the ocean as the main environment and vessels as the main platform, the accuracy of the behavior model of the computer-generated force will directly affect the confidence of the simulation system and the efficiency of simulation exercises. As a combat simulation application and development platform, the MAXSim simulation platform based on the Generic Black-Board structure has good secondary development. In order to research the behavior model of vessels and provide general modeling ideas and methods for the maritime combat simulation system, the architecture of the MAXSim simulation platform and the specific functions of the modules are firstly researched. Then, the common methods of behavior modeling by using MAXSim are researched from the level of weapons and equipment. Finally, starting from the system-level development of behavior models, the development methods of actions and conditions of periodic-driven and event-driven behavior models are researched, which improves the accuracy of computer Generated Forces and supports a good basis for further improving the overall performance of the simulation system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Support Vector Machine (SVM) is a new machine learning technology developed based on statistical learning theory. It has a solid theoretical foundation, superior learning ability and good generalization ability. It is based on the principle of minimizing the structural risk and does not require much sample information. Therefore, the best compromise between the complexity and learning ability of the model can be found by using a small amount of sample information. Training SVM is equivalent to solving a quadratic programming problem with linear constraints, and there is a unique solution. In this paper, the basic principle of SVM is analyzed. SVM has the remarkable characteristics of nonlinear fitting, strong generalization ability and fast training convergence speed. Aiming at the nonlinear relationship between engineering cost system and various influencing factors, this paper puts forward a new short-term forecasting method of engineering cost system based on SVM by using its superior nonlinear learning and forecasting performance, so as to improve the forecasting accuracy and timeliness. This paper establishes a forecasting model of engineering cost system based on SVM, and compares it with neural network method. The results show that the forecasting accuracy and speed based on SVM are better than neural network method. In this paper, a prediction method combining F -score feature selection with SVM is proposed. This method uses F -score feature selection to reduce the input feature dimension and then sends it to SVM for modeling, which not only combines the feature selection ability of F -score but also makes use of SVM's good nonlinear function approximation ability, thus improving the accuracy and generalization ability of prediction model. It is of practical significance to improve the intelligent prediction level of China's engineering cost system. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes an approach based on numerical simulation to enhance the accuracy and generality of fringe field modeling in Quadrupole Mass Filter (QMF) systems. The proposed method involves SIMION simulation calculations to achieve the desired outcomes. A numerical model of the potential distribution is constructed using the finite numerical difference method in the region where the QMF and end plate are connected. The exponential fringe field function is selected as the basis for approximation, and the fringe field function is obtained through the least squares method. The potential gradient curves for different end plate gaps are derived, revealing the impact of gaps on the fringe field intensity, length, and penetration into the QMF. The proposed method is validated by comparing the obtained fringe field analysis model with literature data The research establishes the reliability and validity of the proposed method for effectively analyzing the fringe fields between the end plate and the QMF electrode in QMF systems. This makes it possible to study the properties of such systems by phase-space dynamics methods. © 2023 SPIE.

The rapid development of the Internet has revo-lutionized our lives, providing us with an array of convenient services. However, this revolution has also led to the problem of data overload. Personalized recommendation services have been widely recognized as an effective solution to this problem by both the industrial and academic communities. Accurate prediction of click-through rate (CTR) is a critical task in personalized recommendation systems since it can improve the user's shopping experience, ultimately increasing revenue for the platform. To achieve accurate CTR prediction, it is crucial to capture user interests. While several methods for interest modeling exist, challenges related to user interest evolution and user behavior noise need further attention. This paper proposes a novel CTR prediction model named the Evolutionary Interest Representation Network (EIRN), which learns the evolving interest representation of users from their behaviors, profiles, and environmental attributes. In the model, we introduce an advertisement correlation graph decomposition layer and a noise filter layer to enhance and purify the user behavior representation. An interest extraction layer is designed to capture sequential correlations and common characteristics between user behaviors, representing their interests. Additionally, as user interests evolve over time and their importance changes, an attention-based interest evolution layer is designed to track the evolution of user interests. Our proposed method is validated using four public datasets and an industrial dataset, showing its superiority over existing CTR prediction methods. © 2023 IEEE.

The emergence of the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) as a driver for the new age of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) provides an opportunity for a wide range of services and applications driven by the various interactions that exist between a vehicle and its environment. However, the nature of road networks affects real-time vehicular movements with respect to the departure, delay, speed and arrival of vehicles. In this paper, we present a data-driven, traffic theory and microscopic traffic simulation approach that can be used in modelling the underlying vehicular network of the IoV. Using the traffic status from the A4 highway dataset in Luxembourg, we obtain vehicular volumes from the vehicle flow rate, define thresholds for traffic status using data scaling and employ microscopic modeling to create traffic scenarios. The analysis from the results of the traffic scenarios shows unique vehicular patterns due to the nature of the road network providing insights that ultimately affect the design and implementation of IoV-based services and applications. © 2024 IEEE.

In the innovative development of social economy, the 3 d imaging laser radar has been widely used in military and civil fields, its dispersion rate of small, high resolution, fast imaging speed of utilizing scanning laser active 3 d imaging technology meet system quickly stable imaging the basic requirements, such as 3 d imaging laser radar technology at present stage is to explore the main direction. For scanning-free liDAR, in the work of long-range non-cooperative target, 3D imaging and detection, the number of echo photons falling on the pixel of detector array is small because the echo is relatively weak. Therefore, on the basis of understanding the current research status of detection technology and system in recent years, combined with the principle of laser heterodyne detection and the statistical principle of photon counting detection, this paper constructed a system ranging accuracy model, and studied the signal-to-noise ratio of photon pulse heterodyne detection system by using random phase-amplitude vector theory. Finally, a photon pulse heterodyne detection system which combines photon technology detection module and pulsed laser heterodyne detection module is obtained. © 2023 SPIE.

Composite materials are among the most sought-after materials in major aerospace, automotive, naval applications of the 21st century. It is therefore paramount to conduct detailed materials analysis to obtain the elastic properties of attendant materials with respect to their dynamics in operation. This is technically cost-effective in eliminating repeated laboratory testing for very minute changes in input parameters. The model is a square-type unidirectional (UD) representative volume element (RVE) modelled in Abaqus CAE 6.14. An infinitesimal remote strain induced by means of a small displacement (15-20% of the boundary box length) from a reference/remote point tied kinematically and periodically to the face in question. The mesh sensitivity study was carried out in Ansys R22 because of its practical parametric sweep function, although mesh size was limited to 3 µm below which the number of nodes is not acceptable for the sake of license.
