Based on establishing the mathematical model of the system provided system parameters, using the discrete-time Markov chain and a function set by a non-negative integer random variable as Probabilistic methods, discrete time variable, two-queue different gated polling system has been fully analyzed, the low-and higher-order properties and cycle period of the system are deduced, and average queue pair length and average waiting delay for message packets are calculated accurately. The simulation experiments agree well with the theoretical calculations. The analysis further deepens the cognition of the asymmetric threshold polling system, lays a foundation for researches on the asymmetric threshold polling system, and has positive significance for a better and more flexible control periodic query polling work system.

The concept of "energy prosumer"is a relatively new phenomenon resulting from distributed energy production through photovoltaic (PV) technology, which has blurred the line between energy producers and consumers. Blockchain technology has facilitated secure and cost-effective energy transactions among consumers, prosumers, and utilities, automating the process. This study aims to develop an agent-based modeling (ABM) simulation framework for energy exchange, demonstrating the power profiles of households and the operation of blockchain operations. The simulation was conducted in the education City Community Housing (ECCH) microgrid, using a multi-agent framework for a transactive energy (TE) distributed energy resource (DER) that requires blockchain technology. The current blockchain-based local energy market (LEM) aims to balance supply and demand using precise short-term energy generation forecasts and home consumption estimates. This study evaluated the accuracy of state-of-the-art energy forecasting methods in predicting household energy generation and consumption. It examined the impact of forecasting errors on market outcomes under different supply scenarios. Although LSTM models may provide low forecasting errors, the researchers found that the prediction process needs modification for a LEM built on a blockchain. This study stands out from previous research by forecasting the timeline of smart meters in general. © 2023 IEEE.

The paper discusses the similarities and differences of four D-H parameter conventions. Based on the theory of pose transformation in rigid body kinematics, the formation process of four D-H parameters and the physical significance of robot kinematics parameters in unified robot description format (URDF) documents are discussed. By transforming the latter kinematics parameters into the D-H parameters, the forward kinematics formula of the serial chain manipulator is obtained. Taking Baxter robot as an example, the process of building robot D-H parameter model is described, which based on the data in URDF document. Then, the correctness of the model is verified by the forward kinematics simulation results. © 2023 IEEE.

Influenza causes significant harm to both public health and the economy, making preventive measures such as vaccination crucial. The number of vaccines is limited, necessitating the development of strategies for their optimal distribution. Mathematical models are widely used to address this challenge, helping to identify the most effective allocation of vaccines based on various factors. In this study, we present the decision support system based on a multi-agent model to study the impact of vaccine distribution on population health. The model incorporates detailed demographic and epidemiological data and simulates the spread of influenza in an urban environment. Mortality and the total number of infected individuals during the epidemic season were chosen as the key metrics for assessing the effectiveness of vaccine distribution strategies. To demonstrate the assessment of vaccination outcomes, we applied the simulation to a St. Petersburg. Our results show that the decision support system based on multi-agent model with highly detailed demographic data can be used to analyze different vaccination scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

Objective: Both simulation and experimental studies show that human walking is a passive biped walking mode adapting to the gravity environment of the earth, and its energy consumption rate is much lower than that of biped robot[1]. In the earth's gravity environment, when the leg length, leg centroid, inertia parameters, joint position and the mass characteristics of the whole human body are fixed, the gait characteristics (step length and period) are fixed. This article establishes a passive bipedal walking model through computer human body measurement and conducts simulation research on gait differences in gravity environments on Earth, Moon, and Mars. The research results can provide a basis for future astronaut training.

In this paper, a mathematical modeling of energy harvesting obtained from the dynamic response of a beam with an homogenized piezoelectric composite patch subjected to a moving load is investigated. A micromechanical model is used to predict the piezoelectric composites with optimized homogenized properties to be used in the considered energy harvester. The differential quadratic method (DQM) coupled with an implicit time scheme are elaborated for the spatial and time discretizations to numerically solve the resulting partial differential equations. The generated electric power from the homogeneous piezo-composite patches is evaluated based on the root mean square (RMS). The numerical results demonstrate the effect of piezo-composite material on the RMS estimated. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This paper aims to explore how virtual reality technology can be combined with interdisciplinary experimental teaching in higher education, and realizes the deep integration of teaching content and the improvement of interactive experience by constructing an experimental environment with integrated computer platform. Firstly, this paper analyzes the application status of virtual reality technology in the field of education, and points out its unique advantages in simulating complex experiment scenes and providing immersive learning experience. Then, the paper deeply discusses the application of sparse coding algorithm model in VR experiment teaching, which can effectively process a large number of visual data, improve the efficiency and quality of image processing, and thus enhancing the learning effect of students. The study explores the application of system simulation technology in virtual reality experimental teaching, which allows students to conduct complex experimental operations in a safe virtual environment while providing the possibility of immediate feedback and personalized learning paths. This simulation technology not only reduces the cost of the experiment, but also improves the repeatability and flexibility of the experiment.

Efficient and accurate indoor radio signal strength prediction methods are essential for the design and operation of wireless communication systems. Recently, attempts have been made to combine radio propagation prediction with deep learning. Inspired by recent advances in computer vision, we propose a prediction model using a convolutional encoder-decoder structure fused with Swin Transformer module. Specifically, we embed the Swin Transformer into the U-Net structure to enhance the global modeling capability of the U-Net network, which can be trained to predict the strength of signals received in a given indoor environment. More importantly, once trained for a sufficient number of scenarios, the model can directly predict the signal strength in unknown indoor environments. The simulation results verify that the model is more effective than the traditional U-Net, with a reduction in validation error of about 40%. © 2023 IEEE.

Virtual simulation experiment teaching innovatively combines information technology with pedagogical reform, offering a solution to the spatial and temporal limitations of traditional lab education. This paper discusses an instrumental analysis virtual simulation platform developed with Unity3D for interactive, three-dimensional modeling. It enables the replication of complex analytical instruments, providing a dynamic environment for students to engage with and comprehend advanced techniques and procedures. The gas chromatography module exemplifies the platform’s ability to enhance practical skills, apply theoretical knowledge, and navigate safety protocols within realistic scenarios. Student proficiency and satisfaction have notably increased, validating the platform’s effectiveness and its transformative potential for instrumental analysis instruction.
