An emerging technology of SDN plays a vital role in network reconfiguration. In an existing system, real word experiment on dynamic changing network topology lacks the ability to change the network configuration. The article works for dynamic reconfiguration in networking through high-level programmability via such C++ or python via SDN controller. In this paper, SDN enable an innovation performance for improving the network reconfigurability through three resources such as controller (Raspberry pi), switch and host nodes. The protocol of Openflow acts as an interface between controller and switch. As a result, the dynamic network reconfigurability solves the problem of manual configuration and reconfiguration to the network operator where the system deploys on campus network.

In this paper we present a performance evaluation study of different transport mechanisms carried out in a testbed environment to reveal their efficiency regarding the transfer of different flows. The current versions of the Transmission control Protocol (TCP) are compared to the Digital Fountain based communication Protocol (DFCP), which is our newly developed transport protocol where congestion control is not applied, but Raptor code based erasure coding scheme is used to recover lost packets. Our results demonstrate that both short-lived and long-lived flows can be transferred more efficiently by DFCP than by TCPs in various network conditions.

Internet of Things (IoT) is the group of interconnected computing devices over the internet and implanted in the objects used in daily life for sending and receiving data. IoT helps businesses and society in many ways such as it improves public safety, transportation, and healthcare by providing better information and faster communications. The adoption of IoT is going to create a persistent impact on society and business. This paper develops a model based on system dynamics and identifies the factors influencing IoT adoption. The dominant factors of IoT adoption are communication, control and automation, efficient business processes, self- configuration and cost savings. IoT adoption is also affected by negative factors including privacy risks and security risks, interoperability, reliability, poor infrastructure, less skilled IT professionals, etc. Businesses can reap the potential benefits of IoT by solving the issues related to their adoption. This design merges ideas from robust control theory like H -infinity control style, the Small Gain Theorem, associated L stability theory with Lyapunov stability theory and up to date theoretical achievements in adaptive control to develop an adaptation design for systems whose uncertainty satisfies a neighborhood carver certain. During this paper the performance of H -infinity controller is compared by exploitation back propagation neural network and radial basis operate neural network. This research article presents a nature inspired meta heuristic approach to deal with optimal power flow (OPF) problem solution. The modified artificial killer whale optimization (MAKWO) algorithm is employed for optimal setting of controlling quantities of OPF. This optimization technique is inspired from hunting procedure of killer whales. The presented method has been employed on IEEE 9-bus, IEEE 14-bus and IEE 30-bus system. Simulation is carried out on MATLAB R2016a platform. The results have been juxtaposed with particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique and an old conventional technique, which recommends that the presented technique is superior and computationally efficient than other used techniques.

The remote monitoring and control of machines are essential in industrial environments. Emerging communication technologies such as Web of Things and Machine to Machine communication can meet this demand for automation in Industry 4.0. This paper aims to introduce a solution for continuous and remote monitoring of electrical quantities in smart industrial environments with three-phase systems. The proposed solution uses a service-oriented architecture and makes use of a Smart Gateway, RESTful web services, and cloud computing. The solution was integrated with a real case study and evaluated by software testing. The results obtained demonstrate the feasibility of the solution, and the accuracy of measurements persisted in the cloud.
