Automation has significantly simplified our daily lives, but the escalating number of vehicles on the roads, particularly in Bangladesh, has led to persistent traffic congestion and increased human effort. The existing manual traffic light system proves inadequate for addressing this issue promptly. To address this, we propose an experimental solution, an automated traffic signal system operating 24/7 with Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication. This system aims to minimize human effort, save time, and effectively alleviate traffic congestion. Our approach involves a vehicle density measurement device utilizing a Light-Dependent Resistor (LDR) and laser technology to gauge the density of passing vehicles. This device identifies the maximum number of cars within a predetermined time frame. If the LDR detects a high volume of traffic, signaling excessive congestion, this information is relayed to the master unit (ESP32). Conversely, if the LDR registers a normal flow with fewer vehicles, this data is also transmitted to the master unit. The master unit analyzes the data to determine the traffic conditions. In typical situations, when the LDR and laser detect a vehicle, the corresponding green LED is illuminated. This dynamic adjustment of LED status based on vehicle density helps mitigate undesirable traffic congestion, ultimately saving valuable time for the public. Notably, our solution operates without the need for internet connectivity for M2M communication. © 2024 IEEE.

In the landscape of modern transportation infrastructure, toll gate systems stand as pivotal instruments for both financing the maintenance and expansion of road networks and managing the flow of vehicular traffic. However, the traditional model of toll collection, which relies on a static end-toend fee structure, has been increasingly challenged by its inability to adapt to the dynamic needs of contemporary road users and the evolving demands of sustainable urban mobility. Vehicle users traversing toll roads or bridges are currently subjected to a flat toll rate, irrespective of the distance they travel along the route. This method, while straightforward, often results in inequitable billing, where travelers may pay more than their actual usage of the road warrants. Moreover, this system can lead to congestion at toll booths and a strain on infrastructure maintenance budgets. In order to address these pressing challenges, this project introduces a transformative Toll Gate Payment System that capitalizes on a sophisticated amalgamation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, Arduino microcontroller, GPS, Wifimodule, Cloud. The objective of this innovative approach is to revolutionize toll collection by enabling vehicle users to pay exclusively for the distance they traverse, thus fostering a fairer, more accurate, and efficient system that better aligns with the contemporary dynamics of transportation. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

To improve the performance of mobile devices, both the edge of the network and the cloud provide computing services. While the cloud can manage large processing needs, the edge can minimize latency by offering local computing services. Their cooperation is essential for edge-cloud computational business models since it increases the usage of computing resources and assures Quality of Service (QoS). To facilitate resource sharing between the network's edge and the cloud, this study proposes an effective architecture for mobility edge-cloud computing networks. It uses wholesale and buyback techniques. Study conducted design resource management issues for edge servers to manage wholesale and buyback agreements and for cloud services to establish wholesale rates and distribute local computing resources in order to maximize this sharing process. From the perspectives of both optimizing societal welfare and maximizing profitability in both the perimeter and the cloud, study conducted approach these issues. Study conducted illustrate the concavity of the social welfare for i) and suggest an ideal cloud resource management approach to maximize it. Study conducted first develop the conical shape of wholesale computing power with respect to the wholesale rate for option ii), given the difficulty of directly demonstrating the conical shape of the key issue. Study conducted then create an optimal pricing while computing administration approach for maximizing the resulting profits. According to numerical analyses, maximizing overall profit is consistent with promoting societal welfare, whereas maximizing individual earnings is achieved through maximizing pricing using cloud computing resource management. © 2023 IEEE.

This research presents a novel method for enhancing prosthetic hand control by integrating Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based gesture recognition with IoT hardware and software. Prosthetic devices are very helpful for those who have lost limbs, but limitations in functionality, such as poor fine motor control, might limit their use. It proposes a unique solution to this issue by using IoT sensors to capture user hand motions and a CNN to interpret these movements in real time. Sensors attached to the user's prosthetic limb or other relevant locations provide input for the IoT-based system. By putting this information into a CNN, the device may learn to detect and classify distinct hand gestures, allowing for more complex control of the prosthetic hand. By bridging the gap between human intent and prosthetic hand motion, the control mechanism becomes more intuitive and responsive. Early evaluations show promise for the CNN's utility, with tests indicating it can accurately detect and react to human motions. It also uses assistive technology by proposing a method for realistic and effective prosthetic hand control. This method has the potential to greatly improve the lives of those who have lost a limb by combining IoT with deep learning. © 2023 IEEE.

Presently, advanced control theory plays a major role in the aircraft system for the control of Yaw, Roll and Pitch angles, which was very much necessary for the stabilization of aircraft system. Following the works of control system community for aircraft applications this paper concentrates on the control of Yaw angle by designing various optimal Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controllers using standard existing tools. The optimal controllers are designed for the aircraft lateral Yaw dynamics and the performance of each optimal LQR feedback controllers are tested and validated using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment and the results are compared with different system conditions to select the best optimal LQR feedback controllers in future aircraft control system. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2023.

This study aimed to investigate whether brainwave entrainment(BWE) could improve focus and sketching abilities in children with attention problems. Many children struggle to sustain focus during detailed tasks like art due to difficulties with attention. Brainwave entrainment using binaural beats has shown potential for increasing focus by driving brain waves into specific frequency ranges. This study involved 20 children ages 9-12 who had been diagnosed with attention issues, seven of them diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). They participated in a crossover design where they completed an art sketching task for 30 minutes. In condition one, they performed the task without BWE, and in another condition, they listened to theta frequency (8 Hz) binaural beats for 30 minutes daily during the sketching activity for 15 days. This activity was conducted under the observation of an expert art teacher to monitor efficiency. The study revealed promising outcomes regarding the effectiveness of BWE in enhancing focus and task performance. Participants diagnosed with ADHD exhibited a significant 75% improvement in task completion efficiency during the 15-20 minute phase when exposed to BWE, compared to only 15% improvement in the non-BWE control group. Notably, even participants without ADHD symptoms demonstrated a 50% efficiency increase with BWE. Furthermore, EEG analysis revealed a remarkable 7.65% reduction in the Theta/Beta Ratio (TBR) for the ADHD group after BWE, indicating improved attention and focus. The non-ADHD group also showed a 5.39% decrease in TBR, while the non-BWE control group exhibited minimal changes. These findings suggest that BWE techniques could benefit children with attention difficulties, aiding in focus, learning, and emotional regulation during academic and daily activities. © 2024 IEEE.

The presence of pests in crops has a significant negative influence on both the quality and the quantity. As a result, taking steps to control and prevent bug infestations is more crucial than ever. Early detection of pests can increase agricultural production, which is of utmost significance to farmers. Finding pests manually may take time and effort for farmers, particularly those who operate bigger farms. Therefore, it is crucial to develop pest identification system based on computer vision in order to reduce the damage due to pests through proper classification of the pests and targeted management strategies. This may be accomplished by targeting management techniques towards specific pests. Deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are capable of extracting features and learn complicated, high-level qualities for images categorization, they are being used to address this problem. This study aims to provide a comparative analysis of several deep-learning methodologies. The Inception V3 model has outstanding performance, with an accuracy of 93.64%. It is clear that resources for determining pests impacting the yield of paddy and assessing their effectiveness are accessible to everyone. © 2023 IEEE.

In the actual operation of the aircraft power distribution system, various factors may lead to failures, thereby endangering flight safety and passengers' life safety. When the power distribution system fails, isolating the fault from the system and quickly restoring the power supply to the lost load through network reconstruction is an important means to improve the network reliability of the aircraft power distribution system. The original power distribution network cannot accurately realize the fault reconstruction decision evaluation problem in the topology of the aircraft power distribution system, and the evaluation is unreasonable. As an important part of aircraft power system, aircraft power distribution system is responsible for transmitting electric energy from power supply system to various electrical equipment. The reliability of its network is directly related to flight safety. Autonomous vehicular communication relies on wireless internet to transport a large chunk of data between vehicles and remote destinations-vehicular internet usage spike results in choking of packets at intermediate nodes. Throughout the years, many transmissions control protocol (TCP) congestion control algorithms have been developed to stabilize the traffic flow in the network with effective utilization of shared resources. The experimental study of the internet congestion control algorithm is needed to validate its performance under the multi-hop vehicular scenario. This analysis investigates the implementations of Westwood, Cubic, and bottleneck bandwidth round-trip propagation (BBR) under different mobility conditions. This study will furnish a profound insight into the throughput, latency, and loss ratio performance of end-to-end TCP connections under vehicular conditions.
