In this era of COVID-19 pandemic, as more people self-isolate themselves, psychological health issues like depression, anxiety, and stress is an increasing concern all over the world. The purpose of this study is to investigate the data from social forums, where we found communities of depressed people sharing their thoughts and emotions in the forums, these forums also receive advices and support. In this paper, we will analyse the "depressed"text;by manipulating the data, extracting features, categorising, and try to understand what are the attributes of "depressed"text, and how we can "predict"whether a text should be marked as depressed or not. Using text analysis and text data mining techniques, the text obtained from the social forums was analysed and three different machine learning algorithms were used to predict depression. After cross validation overall accuracy of 99.69% was obtained as the best score using the proposed system. This study definitively answers the question regarding using human basic language and communication of personal experiences, for the prediction of depression and can be reached easily. Furthermore, not only actions, habits and behaviour of a person, text too can be used for accurate diagnosis of depression. © 2021 IEEE.

There are many ways that product manufacturers can communicate risk to consumers. The hazard control hierarchy describes the fundamental elements and appropriate methodology for implementation of research-supported concepts and provides effective techniques for risk communication. Distinctions among types of risk communication and relevant standards are reviewed. Comprehension of risk information by product users is an essential part of the communication process. Label conspicuity and placement on the product are considered as to how they impact the efficacy of a warning, and are evaluated in real-world applications. Anti-warnings: communications that downplay risks and/or undermine warnings are also important to consider and are discussed relative to their effect on warning communications.

The effectiveness of a spectrum sensing algorithm is mainly measured by achievable throughput. Delays incurred by techniques which group cooperating SU and channels directly affect the achievable throughput. In this paper, Medium Access control (MAC) layer framework that incorporates channel grouping technique is proposed. We integrate parallel sensing and sequential sensing to maximize achievable throughput while minimizing delays. We present theoretical analysis of the proposed framework and investigate the optimal number of channels per group which maximizes the achievable throughput.

In this paper, we analyze by theoretical calculation of the proposed scheme for collision detection in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The proposed scheme utilizes the medium access control (MAC) procedure of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) transmission technology, which is used to achieve high-speed transmission in WLANs in recent years;however, the transmission efficiency degrades at the MAC layer level, although a high transmission link rate is achieved at the physical (PHY) layer. The proposed scheme were performed high transmission efficiency of approximately 90% by the computer simulation in our previous work. In this paper, the results of our theoretical calculations correspond with the computer simulation results, indicating that the proposed scheme is indeed efficient and reliable.

Energy consumption within communication networks is becoming a more significant problem as the scale of communication infrastructure increases. At the same time, large-scale electricity systems also face problems like transmission loss and energy shortage. Thus in this paper, we base our discussion on a communication system powered by a micro-grid system with renewable energy supplies, which is expected to address these problems well. Then, as a solution to the fluctuating output problem of renewable energies, we propose a transmission control algorithm to directly adapt the system power consumption in response to the fluctuation instead of using batteries as the energy buffer. Through simulation, we prove that our scheme can efficiently use such kind of fluctuating power supplies.

With the development and spread of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, various kinds of data are now being generated from IoT devices, and the number of such data is expected to increase significantly in the future. Data that depends on geographical location and time is commonly referred to as spatio-temporal data (STD). Since the "locally produced and consumed" paradigm of STD use is effective for location-dependent applications, the authors have previously proposed using a STD retention system for high mobility vehicles equipped with high-capacity storage modules, high-performance computing resources, and short-range wireless communication equipment. In this system, each vehicle controls its data transmission probability based on the neighboring vehicle density in order to achieve not only high coverage but also reduction of the number of data transmissions. In this paper, we propose a data transmission control method for STD retention in low vehicle density environments. The results of simulations conducted in this study show that our proposed scheme can improve data retention performance while limiting the number of data transmissions to the lowest level possible.

In LoRaWAN, each node transmits packets autonomously, so packet collisions occur when multiple nodes transmit packets at the same time and frequency. However, the clocks of inexpensive LPWAN nodes are generally not highly accurate, and synchronization errors can occur between devices over time. In addition, in single-hop LoRaWAN, it is not possible to achieve high data rates and a wide communication range at the same time. By using multi-hop communication, it is possible to achieve a wide communication range while maintaining a high data rate. However, LoRaWAN multi-hop communication suffers from the hidden node problem, throughput degradation due to the inability to transmit and receive packets simultaneously, and power consumption due to the need to constantly open the receive window. This paper proposes an autonomous distributed adaptive resource allocation method to solve the above problems. Specifically, we show that by assigning packet transmission slot decisions based on LoRaWAN packet information, the transmitting and receiving sides can share transmission and reception locations, avoid packet collisions, and reduce power consumption by avoiding unnecessary opening of reception windows.

Attribute-Based Access control model has attracted many researchers to come up with better techniques that can improve the current performance and policy modeling. The XACML policy language standard used by the attribute based access model uses rules and policy set to govern the access mechanism. The policy sets are complex rules consisting of several combinations of attribute and attribute values. Different techniques including policy compression are proposed to date to improve the performance compared with the standard ABAC implementation. However, no research is done to model the policy store based on attributes. This paper makes the first attempt on the design of an attribute enabled access control mechanism that takes benefit of the attribute store residing along with the policy. The proposed model can also accommodate the policies defined in currently used enterprise model, ABAC. This work also presents a policy conversion method from ABAC to the proposed model design. A performance analysis is given using real-life and synthetic dataset, that shows its applicability to the real world scenarios and the characterized policy set it intends to satisfy. The comparison between the decision evaluation over the proposed model with the other model shows its correctness. This paper also suggests more research on modeling of attributes store and policy sets for access decision computation.

A majority of existing scheduling models of network control system are designed without considering the characteristic of wireless technology. They face serious degradations in wireless industrial applications. This paper proposed scheduling algorithm of great tolerance wireless communication delay (GTD). This algorithm resolves real-time problem of cycle communication task in wireless network control system(WNCS), and eases overtime phenomenon of cycle communication task caused by wireless network delay partly. Finally, we evaluate the performance of the proposed GTD for the WNCS. Simulation results show that it is more effective than traditional scheduling algorithms in the WNCS applications.

The installation of photovoltaic (PV) power plants is advanced in order to reduce global pollution and simplicity of the energy needed systems. This paper at the problem is the photovoltaic (PV) faults conditions to guarantee the protection of the power system. As a result of high saturation factor of the PV-connected power system, the State is quite concerned about the PV power plants. As part of this study, a controlling approach was used in order to verify that the inverter's safety was not compromised during a low-voltage ride through procedure while depending on no extra hardware. The grid-tied power inverter implements the reference currents generated by the power current loop. All adaptive controllers regulate these currents. The proposed method is less complicated than further approach that has been projected in the text. The output of all control strategies, including machine learning, gray wolf optimizer, ant bee colony algorithm, PSO, and GA, is presented and verified using a Mat lab simulation that includes voltage sags and swells © 2021 IEEE.
